Stinson Park is a great little park with some cool water views. There is very limited parking here, so please be advised of that. It is also not a very large park. I walked it literally in a few minutes. However, for a little park, it is pretty amazing. It could be a little more decently cleaned. There was what I would guess would be droppings from the geese on the sidewalk and some look like they have been here for awhile. Not a big deal, it is nature, but I did want to mention it. All in all, I would definitely recommend this park.

This was my first time going to this park, as soon as I pulled into the parking lot I knew immediately I was going to love it. There are views from either side of the bridge. There are plenty of benches if you choose to sit and just take in the scenery. If you have small children there is a playground to keep them entertained. I saw people taking their kayaks out into the water and enjoying the day.

My friend's dog LOVES to swim so we were looking for a dog park close by that had a swimming area. Unfortunately every one we found you either had to be a member, pay, or it was far away. This was great option for Barley to be able to swim and play fetch in the water. There are some rocks you need to be careful of if your dog isn't a good swimmer or able to navigate well in the water but overall it made for a nice weekend and got some of his energy out. There is a little grassy "beach" area so your dog can just walk right in. It's also in a small cove so you don't have to worry about boat traffic or waves. Really good for just swimming back and forth to fetch toys. We also took a nice walk on the bridge afterward to let him dry off a bit.

Great park to have picnics at. For your kids to play as well. And great photography area.

Sadly this may have been a nicer little park in the past, but clearly it needs some TLC. Took our…read morepuppy there Nov 4th and honestly we turned around and left after only a few minutes on the trail. It's become run down and appears that it's not being really cared for as much. Some trash around and on the start of the trail. Beware there were tons of mosquitos on the trail and a stray cat. Who knows how many more. We really have no desire to go back. Those pictures of the "lake" do Not Look anything near like that in person in a negative way sadly and I would probably barely call it a lake.

Losco Regional Park is a really nice park with a really nice walking path that goes around a lake…read more It also has a children's playground, a few soccer fields, a splash type water park, public restrooms, adequate parking and much more. I can't believe that this is my first time here as I am often in the area and seek out parks to walk and get some steps towards my minimum ten thousand steps a day minimum. But now that I have discovered Losco Regional Park, I will say that I will definitely return to this wonderful park. This park was also pretty popular on this particular Thursday morning. There were plenty of people enjoying the park. Losco Regional Park is truly a great park and I definitely recommend a visit here. I will also give Losco Regional Park an overall rating of five stars. Go check Losco Regional Park out for yourself.

The…read morebaseball fields are phenomenal, and I really enjoy the pickleball courts--just wish there were more than four since they're always in use. The basketball court could definitely use some improvements, though. The walking trail along the water is beautiful, scenic, and peaceful. The only real downside is that it could use more parking, especially during busy times.

Oddly, lots of parks in Florida but very few with designated running areas. One thing to note is…read morethat pretty much every street has a sidewalk and a concrete running path here. I found this park by looking at Apple Maps and then zooming in to see if there was an asphalt trail. I arrived really early to run here and noticed the lights kicked on around 6AM. There is a tennis court (which is where I parked), baseball fields, football field and soccer field. The water was not turned near the bathrooms, and the bathrooms were locked. Not sure if they open up at a certain time but that's the reason for my star bump. I was happy to run the asphalt path they had. If you account for the boardwalk area on the lake, you'll get about .90 miles altogether. I did my warmup on the path and ran some outside the park on the concrete. Was able to complete some short interval training by just doing about 2.5 laps on the asphalt. It was fairly flat but you're only going to get about .4 miles of a curved running area before a transition. If you're a runner, I'd recommend coming here for any runs under 5 miles. Also, people are oblivious on the asphalt and don't stay on their side. But, be glad they have asphalt to run on!
