If you are crazy about sausages, meaning you need them to actually taste of something other than starch and contain actual and high percentage of meat, when in Malmö visit Stippes Bar. This is a sausage institute that has been serving Malmö since the 70s. It is also an institute for grabbing the "late night/drunk/pre hangover yummy and somewhat fatty grub" before passing out!
The Strippes is the fast food place where everyone is welcomed and I say this in the broadest meaning of the word welcomed; you might share the table with a celebrity or a homeless among whom many have been served for free over the years. This is a place with a big heart and an owner that is a true believer in social responsibility.

It is also the place for eating your chips with a very delish béarnaise sauce after which you might need to book an angiography appointment! But to be honest if I am here is only to eat these damn hot sausages in baguettes or with side orders. However one special sandwich is perhaps a better start for your morning if you also into pro social behaviors; sparing the rest of the world/work place from garlic breath. That sandwich, the king among all other breakfast/brunch sandwiches, is the chicken, egg and bacon sandwich with cornichon, pineapple, mushrooms and melted cheese on top! read more
