I brought it in Monday morning, and they had it ready for me by Tuesday evening, just before my interview on Wednesday morning. I couldn't be more grateful! Beautiful work, quick turnaround, and very reasonable prices. Not to mention, I didn't realize they are cash only, and I didn't have cash when I dropped it off. They graciously allowed me to pay during pickup instead. The sleeves were shortened about 3", and they charged $60 for the blazer, $30 for the shirt, and no extra cost for the short notice. I tipped an extra $10 of course, they deserve it!

I wanted to give this young lady a chance because all the other seamstresses I consulted have unreasonably charged "an arm and leg". I am looking for a good job with reasonable rates as the dress will be donated to Philippine charity later on. Glad that I found Noreen! I am greatly impressed and pleased with Noreen's skill and positive, can-do attitude. She said she has 20+ years of seamstress experience and can get the project done. It took her less than two weeks for the alterations to finish due to the dress zipper not closing so she had to replace the zipper. Her quality of sewing is perfection. Super quick turnaround compared to the others I reached out to especially since it was a Saturday. After our initial call, we set a date for me to bring my wedding dress in & she is very flexible when it comes to scheduling so that was a plus since I am located in Modesto. When I arrived for my appointment, she was so sweet & took her time to walk me through all her recommendations and just let me know exactly what she was going to do with my dress. She was transparent about extra labor needed due to my dress being beaded so it would have to be done by hand instead of a sewing machine. She was upfront about the cost as well, she wanted to make sure we were aligned before continuing which I appreciated. I am a sweaty-betty so I brought my own mini-fan to use during my fitting but Karalin saved the day with these neck-fans that I was able to use so I didn't have to hold anything in my hand during my appointment. Talk about prepped for anything! She's great! My appointment was August 21 and she gave me an estimate to have my dress ready by October 1 to give me some time to perfect anything before my October 25 wedding date. So it was an awesome surprise when she reached out to me on August 31 stating that my dress was ready for fitting & pick-up. Talk about underpromising and overdelivering! When I went for my fitting and to pick up my dress, I wanted to record how to bustle my dress & Karalin was so sweet, she literally helped with a 15-min recording to provide a walk-through for those who would help me with my bustle on my wedding day. She didn't have to do that but she didn't hesitate when I asked. Overall, Karalin was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her over and over again to anyone that will listen.
