Didn't seem interested in doing some embroidering or patching on an item I brought in .. so suggestions , just a NO ...

I've used this company to print shirts on 2 separate occasions. The first time around, it was fast and easy. I placed my order, was told to come back at a certain time, and when I arrived my order was pretty much ready. (I ordered 4 shirts and the employee was working on the last 2 when I arrived, which was fine.) The second time I used Stitch by Stitch, it was much more of a hassle. I placed my order in the store and I was told to come back the next day. He didn't give a specific time so I assumed I could come anytime during the day. I tried calling before I came to assure that my order was completed but no one answered the phone. I ended up coming to the store to check on my order, in spite of the fact that I couldn't get in contact with anyone to confirm that my order was ready. I arrived at 1pm. At that time, I was told that my shirt wouldn't arrive until after 4pm but the design was ready. I asked if I could see the design, then found out that he lied. The design wasn't ready yet either. This wasn't a big deal though. He designed it right then and there and I was able to provide feedback, which was nice. He then instructed me to return after 5pm. I came at 6pm and my shirt still wasn't ready. He reassured me that he would do mine next and that it would be ready in an hour. I came back at 7pm and, of course, the shirts still aren't ready. The owner is a very kind guy! He went above and beyond to assure that I liked the shirt but he needs more help. I was at this store Saturday 4-21-18 around 11:30am, three employees here, two young men and a middle aged female. I walked, and walked and walked around this small store and not a hello, hey, hi, can I help you, is there a certain item you are looking for or even a "we will be with you in a minute". Nothing, It was ridiculous. I think I was there 10 min, about 15 ft away from the young men and I must of had my invisible suit or something. I was looking to purchase 83 family reunion T-shirt but I'll look somewhere else. They need to learn customer service ASAP. read more

I ordered a custom hot wheels shirt for my 5 year old son for his birthday party. It was a simple design which I was charged $27 for! I placed the order anyway. I order on Wednesday for pickup Friday afternoon since the party was Saturday. I arrived at 6:30pm on Friday and my ordered was not even started! I was asked to come back in an hour. When I came back it still wasn't ready! When the order (which was just ONE shirt) was finally finished after my longgg wait it was the wrong size! I asked for a children's small and was given an extra small. When I brought it to the worker's attention all he said was "it's ok. If it doesn't fit him just bring it back and we'll figure something out." Like what kind of crappy response is that?! Thankfully my son is slender and was able to look half decent at his birthday party. I will not be returning here. Never ever again! read more

Avoid this place, service is beyond bad. They lie and take your money and do not fill orders on time. Owner comes off as nice guy but is really a snake. I'm so disappointed with this service. I dropped off three hats FOUR days prior to be stitched. My order was suppose to be ready on FRIDAY, but I worked and wasn't able to be there until the next day. However, I get here and the ordered had never started. The guy didn't start my order until I said "I'm here to pick up my order!" I've had the worse experience. Last Saturday, I took 2 shirts, totaling 56 bucks and change to get my logo stitched on there. The cost for their services was 56.00 total. Davis told me to come back in an hour. I did, he said still not ready come back in a half an hour. I returned in 40 and Davis said, " I haven't completed 1 shirt, something is wrong with the machine ". He showed me my shirt and it was snagged really bad. So I've been calling, and who I thought was Davis, he claimed not to be. Then finally, this past Friday the guy claiming not to be Davis said, "It'll be done Saturday" No calls, they are not responding to my calls and still I have no shirts. If no response by Monday, I'd have to take it to the Attorney General's Office. Doesn't make sense. And not to mention, they have my original uniform shirt so they could copy logo. This place is extremely unprofessional, every time I went in there they had different employees who didn't speak clear English. after telling the girl & guy my order multiple times so she could understand it (they told me it would only take 2 days to complete my order and that they would call or email me when it was done) 4 days later I went into check on it after sending them multiple emails with no response they said we're sorry we will get to work on them right away? Two days after that still no email or phone call to tell me to pick him up I went in to pick them up and half the shirts were not done properly basically they tried to rush through them and burned my shirts when pressing them. It's a bunch of unprofessional children working here who speak very little English and don't care about deadlines. Do not waste your time or money. read more

Cheap owner who pays employees less than minimum wage and expects them to run the whole store alone and explain to angry customers why their orders are not done and have been forgotten about! Worst experience ever!!!! If I could give 0 Stars I would! My brother ordered a hat to be stitched for a costume. He went in on Saturday and asked when was the earliest he could get it. They told him Monday. So he paid for it and came back Monday at 6:30pm. The lady said they forgot to do it but it would be ready by the next day, Tuesday. So we agree, a little upset but we thought okay, it must be busy. So before we go, I call in to see if my order was ready and it wasn't! The lady who answered said she didn't know about the order and she wasn't there the day before or Saturday, which is a lie because I saw them same lady the day before! She said she would call when the order was done so we could pick it up. They call an hour later and we go a little later like 7. We get there and they messed up the design!! And the man there was there didn't even seem to care. He just offers the messed up product and a free tshirt or offers to do it again. We decide on the redo and he says come back in 45 minutes. We come and it's not even started!!! He literally started when we asked for it again! It took literally 15 minutes to finish! And instead of apologizing, they just say have a nice day. The guy that runs this place has terrible customer service. Stay away. He completely ignores customers for minutes and never acknowledges your presence. He talks to you like you are beneath him. This is the 3rd chance I've given this store. I'm done. The things this guy does... PSA: if foreign business owners in America feel that Americans are not worthy, why not just open a business in your country where you will be happy about the people you serve... I just don't get it. I told my nephew to stay away from this place but I ignored my own request and tried to give this guy another try. Also, if he thinks he is closer to a sale with another customer he will completely stop talking to you and ignore you to talk to someone else who he thinks is going to place an order with him. STAY AWAY!!!!! If I could give this horrible place no stars I would! I came in with my own shirt for them to put some iron on letters on the back of. So I get there at 6:30 and the guy tells me it'll be 25 minutes and $16 for putting "Bride" on the back of a plaid shirt. I thought it was pricey but at this point in wedding planning it's worth it. Boy was I wrong! I came back 20 minutes later and the incompetent non-english speaking girl behind the counter asked me what I needed and I pointed at my balled up shirt next to the machine and told her I was picking up. Only to have her pick it up and see nothing had been done to it! So she goes to the back to get the guy to come out who originally helped me. At this point they're going back and forth yelling at each other in their language for a good 5 minutes before he finally acknowledges me and tells me my shirt will be ready soon. It took more time for them to yell at each other than for him to print out my letters and put them on my shirt. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Avoid yourself a headache and go someplace else!!! This store stitch by stitch in Chicago ridge mall is probably by far the worst unorganized business ever on the face of the earth ,never will you get your order on time ,your constantly lied too ,come this day you go there and the order not finished,come back this time and still not done or if done maybe not done right or sloppy job ,and owner challenges you to keep product and they messed it up like it's your fault ,I gave this place plenty of chances and am Done!!!(here is example I placed order for several items come Friday came in Friday still not done come Tuesday come in Tuesday still not done same time someone walks in asks for hat tell them 25 minutes ,throws it on machine after I waited week and a half and wasted gas back and forth ,owner of store I believe is reincarnated snake oil salesman from 1800s covered wagon and all ,I'm done ,is this place is only game in town !!!,I think not !!! read more

I worked there just got fired because apparently I can't take 30 minute breaks when I'm working an 11 hour shift on top of that he tells me I was getting paid 8 an hour and it turns out he's been giving me 7 50 and sneaking some money out of my checks and he doesn't even pay my taxes with that and on top of that he expected me to drop everything every second and do what he says then tells me to do something else if I take a break for a second he badgers me telling me I don't work hard enough he basically needs a damn Dog and on top of that it's the most unprofessional places I've ever worked at I come into the store with so much stuff backed up garbage everywhere and I mean every where and it's ridiculous he expects people that only worked there for a short time like me to run the whole store and do everything and drive everywhere for him in his shitty ass car that almost killed me 7 times in a day fuck that place 0 stars read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Friday I came to stitch by stitch in Chicago ridge mall to get some handkerchiefs monogrammed for my 2 year anniversary gift to my husband. I showed a picture of exactly what I wanted. The monogrammed letters to be in a diamond shape, and showed exactly where I wanted it and so on. At this time I was asked to pay in advance( which isn't a problem) so i did. I was told I could pick up my order on Monday. I came a day late ,on Tuesday and my order wasn't even started. I am a nice person so I said no problem, Ill come back tomorrow. He assured me it would be completed by then. I informed him I am leaving out of town Friday so I have to have my product before then. (at this time another customer came to pick up her order and he asked me to wait so he can help her. He gave her her order and said I steamed it for you) We went over the order again to make sure it was correct and it was. The next day I called before I was on my way and asked if my order was ready. The owner answered and said " uh I'm gonna start it right now. Give me 1 hr. 2 1/2hrs later I get a picture text of letters and "actual"diamond shape below it. I say no that's not correct and Send the picture of what I wanted. 2 hrs later he sends me another picture that's way worse then the first one and it looks like a little kid drew it! By now I am crying! I explain this is my anniversary gift. I really need it to be done right and I need it by tomorrow.(Thursday) I asked if they cant do the diamond shape i asked for can you at least put in a nice font? 3 hrs later I agree on a totally different design and he has finished 4 out of the 6. And says it will be done soon. I told the owner this has been a huge headache and after all of the issues i have had the least you can do is steam or press my handkerchiefs so they are not all wrinkly. (I don't think that is to much to ask for. It literally costs them NOTHING!!!!!!) The owner responded with a no. He said I don't have a steamer. which is bull, i heard them tell someone they did it for them. And what sewing/alteration place has no iron, steamer, press etc???!!! I was to upset to even respond anymore. I came in the next day on my lunch and my order was STILL not completed. Finally Thursday around 5:30 I picked up my order and of coarse wrinkly as ever. Disrespectful and unprofessional! I will never use them again. They gave me one price before they started and after the job was done the price went up. They told me what time to pick the order up and I still waited two hour for my items, they did not start them until I walked in the door. I guess my order was not important. These guys are not the only company that does stitching, so never again. My friend will be picking up his order tomorrow and I will be sure to let everyone know how it goes.
