My winter…read morecoat had a zipper malfunction and the store where I bought it would replace it, but I knew that my jacket would end up getting tossed. And since I couldn't have that environmental unfriendliness on my conscience, I took the broken jacket to Soon's. She said she wouldnt be able to match the zipper exactly but she had a zipper that was close enough. I said great and a week later when I picked up the jacket I couldnt even tell it wasnt the original zipper. $25 is a much better price than a new coat. She has a small shop on Fireweed near the One Hour Dry Cleaner in a 2 story blue building. Slow down or you'll pass it.

However, he never received a phone call when the uniform was ready to be picked up and the hours on the door and website were different. Additionally, they were open when both the sign on the door and website said they would be closed. Very confusing. Military uniforms will be completed in regulations for a fair and affordable price. Make sure you follow up a couple days later if you haven't gotten a call.

I asked if a week was sufficient time to have everything completed and she said yes. I also asked how much would it cost and she said she didn't know yet. I did ask twice but she wasn't sure. I dropped the dress off on a Thursday and went back Saturday to drop off the rhinestones decal, she never mentioned an estimate or price for the total alterations. I returned the following Thursday, 2 days before the prom to pick up the dress and was shocked when she told me my bill was $120.00! I told her that was too much and way more than I was expecting to pay. The hem was good but I was not satisfied with the tulle around the bustline as it did not serve its purpose. I take part blame in this. I should have never left the dress without getting an estimate and letting her know what my budget was. I place the other half of the blame on her. Once she realized what it was going to take for her to do the alterations she should have told me when I went back 2 days later or she could have called me to let me know and I would have gladly picked the dress up and went somewhere else. So for this reason I would never use their services again nor would I recommend them.

BUT my experience there was wonderful! I had bought a dress in a fancy boutique in Austin Texas that didn't fit when it arrived because I was mis-measured. That experience was a nightmare: I now owned an expensive dress that not only wasn't returnable, but it wasn't able to be altered AND worse still, it was completely wrong for my body shape! Mila helped me find a beautiful dress that flattered my body and made me feel like a beautiful lady!! Isnt that what every bride wants??? She offered her opinions freely and kindly and considered to my opinions, thoughts and suggestions. And because she is also the seamstress we talked about the alterations right then. She had nearly a dozen dresses in flattering styles and in my size! Not once did I have to hold a dress in front of me and guess how I would look if it fit me! My new dress cost less than 1/4 of what I spent in Texas, and looks fantastic on me!!! Don't be put off by your first impression of the tiny hot pink building; give it a shot and you may get the dress of your dreams from Mila's!
