    First truck
    Kalyn R.

Worst, and most unusual, experience buying a vehicle we've ever had. If we had known how bad things would go, we would have, without a doubt, paid the slightly higher price for the same truck at the Stivers in Montgomery with a MUCH more professional & friendly staff. "You get what you pay for" holds true. Oops. I'll start by saying there was one person who was the diamond in the rough at the Stivers Union City GA location; Yolanda (Yolo). She was kind and worked hard to help us even though she wasn't our salesperson. I don't know if she got compensation for our sale but she deserved it more than our original salesperson, Larizza. Who had a bad attitude from the start and made us feel like we were a burden, not a customer. However... Lorizza wasn't the worst of it. We drove 5hrs one way to get this truck. This was our second drive there since the first time we were up checking out multiple vehicles in the area and only stopped in to see it and ask general questions about their financing options, etc. You know, shopping around. Come day of purchase, they knew we were taking the 5 hour drive to come BUY this truck. We'd already sent in our personal info to get a jump start on financing and had been communicating with their manager / someone on staff - it was unclear when it was Aramis & when it was someone else replying. Aramis was another salesperson that I would have rather worked with than Larizza but someone higher up kept Larizza on our sale. Or so was implied. Larizza was told to reach out to me, not Drew, since he can't have his phone on him during his 12hr shifts, whereas I can. Did she? No. Despite being told multiple times by Drew she still chose to ignore it. Which is why I was texting/calling Aramis to see if he could help instead. Anyway - the point is, the place is not organized. So we get there. Was the truck ready? No. It was in a spare lot. Was it washed? Vacuumed? Any of it? NOPE. We got there right at the time we said we would, and everyone ran around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to figure out who we were and who we were supposed to be talking to. This is where Yolo stepped in and saved the day. She got the truck, we went for the final test drive, she got us set up with the financial guy, then brought the truck around back to be detailed EVEN THOUGH she had an appointment coming up that she probably wanted to prepare for instead of picking up someone else's slack. You'd think the worst of it'd be over, right? Well, strap on your boots because the ending of this endeavor is going to blow your socks off! We crossed our T's and dotted our I's, then sat in some dingy blown out chairs in the back for what felt like the entire afternoon while we waited for the truck to be detailed.. we could have gotten home around 6p but instead got home around 11p. (But wait there's more, Billy Mays here) Here's where the real fun begins We get home. The next day found out the truck can be remote started but with an app not the key fob so we download the Ford app... (shouldn't someone at the dealership done this with us or at least should have told us about it?) Anyway, documents in hand, we punch in the VIN # to the app - it prompts us to 'go start the truck' to verify that you are the key-holder of said truck. We do that. We do that 10 more times. We do that a few more times... finally ... 'compare the VIN printed on the truck to the VIN in the legal binding documents'... GUYS... ITS. THE. WRONG. TRUCK. It's the wrong truck!!! In their defense, they were identical trucks. We called and they offered to have the truck that we paid for delivered. The issue with that is - I saw your staff and I didn't trust a single one of them with a brand new V8 F-250, especially during its break in period. So, we worked out that we'll drive back up there and our gas would be compensated and given in the form of a gift card when we got there. Surprise surprise, never true to their word they said 'oh we can't give you a gift card, we have to mail you a check' ... You see where this is going, right? Of course.. never saw the compensation for our gas. Nonetheless, they low balled on such a colossal mistake. I think the check they were going to cut was $350? At the minimum EMR of $0.70/mile x 620 miles, we'd be owed $434 out the bat without consideration for how much of our time and frustration they wasted (if they wanted to do the right thing). Mind you, the insurance we bought was for the VIN on the documents, what if some unfortunate accident happened while driving the dealerships truck across state lines? I'm not really sure how that works. I wonder what the legalities of it all are? It was definitely the most bizarre purchasing experience I've ever had. Just a whole bunch of rude people who do not care about you. Like I said, you get what you pay for and there's a reason they boast about being the cheapest around, not the best.

    GT vs. GT

Title: Deeply Disappointed in Stivers Ford South Sales Department I'm writing this review specifically about the Sales Department at Stivers Ford South, particularly Ed Pyle (Sales Manager) and Mike Gregg (Sales Consultant). I purchased a 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium from Stivers Ford South in December 2024 and had been extremely pleased with every part of that experience - sales, service, everything. I fully expected to buy my next vehicle there and really wanted to keep my business with them. When I decided to upgrade to a 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT near the end of October 2025, I was given Ed Pyle's name. He told me he'd pass my information on to Mike Gregg, his "best" salesperson. From the very beginning, the communication was lackluster at best. I was put in contact with Ed on Friday, October 31, and then heard nothing until Monday, November 3 - and that was only after I followed up. Why am I chasing a sales department to try to give them business? I provided all the information they needed for my lease and trade-in, yet the first proposal completely ignored my trade-in. I was told Ed would review it the next morning. Instead of hearing back, I had to follow up again on Friday, November 7 because no one reached out. On top of that, they kept contacting my wife about this deal even though she had absolutely nothing to do with this purchase, which was frustrating and unnecessary. I finally received a revised proposal on Monday, November 10. It was high compared to other quotes I'd gotten (by that point I had reached out to other dealerships due to the poor communication), but at least it gave us a starting point. Unfortunately, that turned out to be the last proposal I ever got from them. I received other offers from different dealerships - including some very competitive ones I was ready to accept - and simply asked Stivers Ford South for full details of their proposal (mileage allowance, trade-in value, vehicle selling price, etc.). On Monday, November 17, I was told, "Yes I will," and then... nothing. No follow-up, no details, no effort to earn my business. In the end, we purchased our 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT from Hardy Family Ford in Dallas, GA on Friday, November 21. They were responsive, transparent, and clearly wanted our business - a night-and-day difference from my experience with the sales team at Stivers Ford South. To be absolutely clear: * My disappointment is with the Sales Department only. * The Service Department at Stivers Ford South has been phenomenal. People like John Sullivan, Malina Herrera, and Tracy Graham have been exceptional every time I've dealt with them, and I fully intend to continue servicing my vehicle there. However, if you are looking to purchase a new Ford, I would strongly recommend going somewhere that actually acts like they want your business. Based on this experience, the sales team at Stivers Ford South made me feel like they couldn't have cared less about selling me a vehicle, and that's why they lost a repeat customer.

BEWARE!!!!!!! Bought a brand new 2025 ford explorer ST car from them in early August, and had it delivered. It is now nearing the end of November. I never saw the car in person but was sent photos and initially had great communication from TK. Car arrived with a giant hole in the seat. I reported it immediately upon receiving the car, and was told by Tk that this would be taken care of, she didn't answer my texts for weeks but assured me it would be taken care of by her manager. I was then sent to talk with Collin when she stopped responding, I spoke with Collin for MONTHS being assured it would be taken care of. They supposedly changed managers and had to get new approval. I went around and got quotes on the repair and submitted it per their request. I was told the repair quote from Ford was approved, and a check would be sent out on Friday after a few months of "I'll let you know". That Friday rolls around and no check was sent out. That next week I was told there was a new manager AGAIN, and I needed to speak with him. I have sent two emails with zero response before leaving this review. Collin is now also not replying to my messages either. So now I have a brand new 2025 ford explorer with a hole that was promised to be repaired by them, only to be left hanging for months. I have bought 3 brand new Ford vehicles personally in a span of 1 year (actually, 7 months), and additional vehicles for my work fleet. I will NEVER EVER buy from this dealership again and I will be leaving this review in every place possible until they decide to do the right thing and fix my seat. I also want to share an incident that happened with the delivery of the car. The car arrived getting 13mpg, it was driven by a young man (looked 18-22) for 4hrs to my location. He gets out of the car and the first thing he says is "this ain't no regular explorer" and that's when I said I know, it's an ST. He said, "This thing has power!" I didn't really think too much of it because yes, that's what it is made to do. I then drove it around town and saw it had got 13mpg on its last trip. I have NEVER been able to get down to 13mpg even if I keep my foot in it. Even when launching, and racing around- never. It gets 15 at the lowest. So the car was ran the absolute dog piss out of before it ever even arrived to me. This has to be the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with, and I am a serial car buyer. I will not ever purchase nor recommend this business and will go out of my way to show the kind of business they're running. Thankfully I have all of this recorded in texts and emails to prove this entire story and their lack of commutation and lies. I wouldn't even say proceed with caution, I'd say DON'T do business with a company that is full of liars.

Mixed Experience - Strong Start, Poor Follow-Through…read more At first, the team worked extremely hard to get me approved despite my credit challenges. They were attentive and persistent, even continuing to work on my approval after I left the dealership and calling me back once everything went through. I really appreciated that effort and their initial customer service. However, the issues began once I entered the finance office. I clearly and repeatedly stated that I did not want the extended warranty. Despite this, the finance manager insisted that my interest rate had been reduced to "fit" the warranty into a lower monthly payment -- which was misleading and bordered on unethical. When I asked for an itemized breakdown of costs rather than just a "total payment" summary, it was a struggle to get it, but I eventually did. I declined the warranty and made it clear that if my interest rate depended on paying an extra $4,000, I would walk away from the deal. After that, the finance manager, Greg Thompson, seemed irritated and told me, "It's your vehicle and I don't care what you do." My interest rate, of course, didn't change once I declined the warranty, proving my concerns were valid. Even after signing, my salesperson continued to pressure me about the warranty, using the same dismissive line -- "it doesn't matter to me" -- while still trying to sell it. For anyone considering purchasing here, understand that these warranties are profit-generating add-ons. I'd respect them more if they were upfront about that fact. And dealership employees should never make customers feel like they don't matter. Post-sale, the experience declined sharply. I've called and texted my sales rep multiple times with little to no response. It also took two or three follow-ups to get my purchase documents emailed, since printed copies aren't their standard process. Overall, they worked hard to close the deal, but once the sale was done, the support and communication disappeared. If you decide to buy here, make sure every question is answered before you leave, and get everything in writing. Tip: Do your research before purchasing their extended warranties. I found a better plan elsewhere -- with longer coverage, lower cost, and not rolled into my car loan (so I'm not paying interest on it).

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!…read more Dear Union City Chrysler Jeep Management, This message serves as formal notice that your dealership is now in breach of contract regarding the sale of my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4, purchased from your Union City location on May 7, 2025. You provided a written agreement at the time of sale to repair or replace the cracked windshield and damaged front bumper, and instructed us that these repairs would be scheduled at your Smyrna location. Despite three weeks of repeated calls--more than ten attempts to your dealership and service department--we have been ignored, disconnected, or strung along with vague promises. No appointment has been scheduled. No follow-up has occurred. Further, when I attempted to register the vehicle, I was informed by the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) that your dealership has failed to submit the title paperwork, making it impossible to secure a permanent registration. The temporary tag you issued is now near expiration. This puts me at legal risk through no fault of my own and represents a second serious failure on your part to fulfill legal obligations under Georgia law. Repeated calls to the dealership have gone unanswered and ignored. Your conduct constitutes willful negligence, deceptive business practices, and bad faith, all of which are subject to legal remedy. THIS IS YOUR FINAL OPPORTUNITY TO RESOLVE THIS PRIVATELY. You have until Friday, June 21, 2025, at 5:00 PM EST to: Schedule and confirm repairs for the windshield and front bumper, in writing. Provide documented proof that the title has been submitted to DDS. If you fail to respond and resolve these issues by the stated deadline, I will take immediate action, including but not limited to: Filing a formal complaint with the Georgia Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division Initiating litigation for breach of contract, negligence, and damages Contacting Chrysler Corporate and escalating this case through their legal and consumer affairs departments Disclosing your conduct to local investigative journalists, including WSB-TV, FOX 5 I-Team, and Atlanta News First Publishing our documented experience across Google Reviews, BBB, Yelp, and social media platforms with names and dates I want to be absolutely clear: I am prepared to involve legal counsel and the media immediately, I am not interested in excuses, delays, or further avoidance. I expect a written response, resolution plan, and documentation of title submission by the deadline.

I contacted BMW Assist and ConnectedDrive support, only to find out that the vehicle requires a software update for these features to work properly. This is something that absolutely should have been addressed prior to the sale. I then reached out to my sales representative, who told me I could take the car to a nearby dealership to resolve the issue. However, when I arrived at a local dealership for the software update, I was informed that the update would cost $450 and take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours. This was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. I just purchased this vehicle, and now I'm being asked to pay out of pocket and spend half a day fixing something that should have been fully operational before I ever drove it off the lot. To make matters worse, the dealership I purchased the vehicle from is over an hour away, and I had already made two separate trips there within a 4-day span during the negotiation and purchase process. After that time investment, I expected the car to be fully ready and all features operational at delivery. After playing phone tag with the dealership I purchased from for the past week, I was repeatedly told I would receive a call back the next day. It has now been three days with no follow-up at all. When I finally did get information, I was told that Comfort Access is actually a separate feature and that my X3 does not include it--something that was never clearly communicated during the sales process. I was also told that Amazon Alexa was a feature I could use, but that it expires at the end of this month, which is surprising as I've never encountered that with previous BMWs. Even more frustrating, after getting home and attempting setup, Alexa does not appear as an installed app in the vehicle at all and the dealership has informed that I will need to bring the X3 back in for them to do further updates. To add further context, this is my sixth BMW, and by far the worst experience and level of service I have ever had with a vehicle purchase. This experience has left a very negative impression. For a brand that prides itself on luxury and customer experience, this level of oversight, lack of transparency, and poor follow-up is disappointing. Buyers should not have to deal with additional costs, unclear feature availability, and lack of communication immediately after purchase just to have basic advertised features working.
