We were very fortunate to avoid a collision, and we also were fortunate that Superior Brake was there to help. Although this time I brought it to a reputable shop to have the work done as: 1. Bernings doesn't honor their work, no warranty. 2. I didn't want to go through the same issue I had with the rear axle, paying for repairs and then repeated failures. 3. I' wanted the work done right. The universal joint that was replaced at Bernings turned out to be the incorrect part which then of course failed. In addition, the tie rod end I had replaced at Bernings also failed. As I stated in my previous review, the technicians (I'm using this term very loosely with these clowns) have no clue what they're doing. And the owner, your typical con man. So be warned, stay away from Bernings.

They gain your trust and then you scam you out of thousands of dollars without an apology. They quote you $460 for brake pads on a car that has been there for multiple inspections and then they charge you $1300. The same car they charged $1100 to fix the heater blower in the middle of December. They charged more than the car was worth after quoting significantly less. They are very nice people, but be careful.

The gentlemen that I was dealing with on the phone did not explain the situation well at all and the potential outcome.
