I get trying to stick with the old time theme but there are things that can and should be updated. The hotel is right on the main road so it's easy to walk to bars, restaurants and shopping. We chose to have a room on the backside of the hotel and didnt hear and any road noise, but complimentary ear plugs were provided just in case. I can't say that I'd stay again.

This hotel came very highly recommended to us and we spent over $1600 for three nights but sadly, this was one of the worst rooms I've ever stayed in. The carpet was bunching up and stained, the duvet had stains, the ceiling in the bathroom was falling down and moldy, the outlet at the sink was falling out of the wall, the hairdryer was caked in hair product residue from several past uses, and on and on. We were incredibly disappointed. We mentioned our concerns to the front desk, which by the way all the staff customer service was excellent, and they were fully booked so there was not a different room they could move us into. Everything in Fort Worth was amazing except our hotel room!

Completely forgot to share about my experience at the Stockyards Hotel in Fort Worth months ago for a work conference. We absolutely adored it!! We had team members fly in from all over Texas and surrounding states for a 3 day conference which was more like a reunion after not seeing each other all of COVID. Fort Worth was the destination of choice because it truly represents an essence of Texas while prices for hotels and conference rooms were reasonable in comparison to Dallas. Back to the Stockyards Hotel. It's this frozen in time saloon style hotel with bar, gorgeous seating areas, and a conference room filled with all things cowboy. Instead of spending our day in a stuffy, fluorescent lit room with presentations all day, we all felt so warm and homey inside "Booger Red's." Loved it! Best part? You walk outside and poof you're on cobblestone, smack dab in the middle of the actual FW Stockyards. Prime location!

The hotel is charming and even has a hotel room where Bonnie and Clyde stayed. The lobby is cozy. There are shops across the street and the weekend cattle drive (Friday, Sat, Sun) is just down a block.

Great location and very cool place to stay with lots of old west character. We got upgraded to a junior suite (not sure why); it was the Cowboy Corner room. Staff were all friendly and we will definitely stay here again!

We did not get to stay at the hotel. We had lunch and walked all around. The charm of this hotel is perfect. Feels like you stepped back into the Wild West at an upscale hotel. The place is clean and the staff was wonderful. They explained several of the unique pieces of art and items in the lobby. I would love to stay here next time I am in the area.

My husband and I stayed at the Stockyard Hotel during a 2 night, weekend getaway. We could have chosen a more modern hotel in the area, but we wanted to have the complete adventure of the Ft Worth Stockyards. The hotel was very nice, and we felt as if we had stepped back in time for a while. We stayed in the Outlaw Room, 2nd floor, corner of East Exchange Ave and Main Street. It was very comfortable, except for the bathroom being a bit tight, but that was to be expected since we were giving up modern for the feel of the old west. I had requested extra washcloths when I reserved the room, but we didn't get them. Also, our toilet seat was loose, but we dealt with it just fine. I loved having a ceiling fan in the room, and the earplugs were a needed added bonus, seeing as how the streets outside are incredibly noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. The guy that checked us in wasn't very friendly, but I guess he was nice enough. The valet guys were great, very friendly, and very helpful! The girl that checked us out was friendly and sweet. Overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable weekend, and I definitely recommend the Stockyard Hotel.

Except they're greedy and want to screw people who have to go to the hospital or business nearby. The hotel: it's pretty clean. Parking isn't a big deal but they have a parking garage adjacent to the hotel. It said parking was free on the 3rd and 4th floor but I didn't get a chance to see if that was true. I sadly have the blue placard of hurt. So yeah, they even charge for handicapped spaces. Legal? Don't know honestly. Ethical? No freaking way. My room was clean. Nice and pretty consistent for a garden inn. Allowed you to control the fan speed and make it constant. Which was a nice surprise. The gym was the shocker. They had one ty of equipment to get in a quick workout. Not typical for Hiltons. But I'll take it. Would I stay here again? Hell. No. 15 bucks for parking without any warning. Just a surprise bill charge. I travel a lot and i'd rather stay at a Marriott property that doesn't take blatant advantage of people going to the nearby hospital. But here are some photos anyway.

The rooms were western themed, with cowboy centric art pieces, which I thought was a nice touch. The rooms also had nice amenities (mini fridge, water, coffee, etc.) which is always great. I only deducted a star because the bathroom sink had a bit of an unpleasant odor at times and the mirror was a little rusty in areas. On another note, the hotel also has restaurants onsite which is a bonus. Also just to note, the staff were very professional, but also polite which I really appreciated as these days you don't get that everywhere.

The hotel itself is beautiful and has that big, upscale Texas hotel feel. The lobby is impressive, and the bar setup is especially nice, a great spot to grab a drink and hang out in the evening. Only reason for four stars is the sheer size of the place. I booked my stay at the Crescent Hotel in Fort Worth through the American Express Fine Hotels +…read moreResorts program and had very high expectations. Unfortunately, while the property itself is beautiful, my overall experience was deeply disappointing. Check-in started on a positive note. I was greeted with a glass of champagne and the front desk staff were warm and welcoming. However, things quickly went downhill from there. I was never provided a welcome letter outlining my Fine Hotels + Resorts benefits or basic hotel information. I didn't realize this until I reached my room and wanted to use some of the amenities. When I returned to the front desk to request one, I was told none were available and was directed to scan a QR code instead. The QR code only linked to the in-room dining menu and restaurant reservation pages, which was not a substitute for the information typically provided with an FHR stay. Upon arrival at my room, the staff member assisting with my luggage repeatedly called me by the wrong last name and made multiple comments about my ethnicity, including saying my name sounded Indian but that I "didn't look Indian," followed by personal questions about my background. While I believe the intent may have been friendly, it felt inappropriate and uncomfortable. The room and property are undeniably stunning, but several functional issues made the stay frustrating. All of the lights, including those in both bathrooms, appeared to be controlled by motion sensors or timers that could not be adjusted. While getting ready, the lights repeatedly turned off, forcing me to stop styling my hair and walk around the room just to trigger the sensors. This became extremely disruptive and inconvenient. Additionally, the main desk in the living room, which was the primary power source in the suite, did not work at all. After attempting to troubleshoot myself, it appeared to be broken entirely. Because this was one of the only areas with multiple outlets, I had to charge devices in random locations throughout the room. Communication with the hotel was also extremely difficult. The in-room phone repeatedly lost connectivity and died while I was attempting to place orders. I texted the hotel to report the issue, yet staff continued trying to call the malfunctioning room phone instead of my cell phone, despite me explaining the situation multiple times. Calling the hotel directly from my mobile phone often resulted in busy signals. The most frustrating part occurred after checkout. I was incorrectly charged nearly the full nightly rate despite having prepaid through American Express. When I called to resolve this, I was placed on hold for nearly 35 minutes after being told it would be brief, and no apology was offered. Although I was told the charge would be reimbursed, the refund was incomplete because my American Express breakfast and amenity credits were not properly applied. I had to call again to request an additional correction. Across their website form and multiple phone calls, I was never initially provided a folio detailing my charges. It wasn't until the third call that I spoke with Sarah, who was exceptionally helpful. She went out of her way to email me a PDF folio and personally coordinate the remaining reimbursement. She was the only team member who truly resolved the situation, and I greatly appreciated her professionalism. This was my first visit to Texas, which I noted in my reservation, and I had hoped for recommendations or guidance from the hotel, especially given the Fine Hotels + Resorts experience, but none were offered. It's genuinely disappointing because the Crescent is a beautiful property with so much potential. However, between the service issues, operational problems, billing errors, and lack of follow-through, this was easily my worst Fine Hotels + Resorts experience to date. Considering the price point and expectations associated with this program, the experience ultimately felt frustrating and not reflective of luxury hospitality standards. I truly wish I could have loved this stay.
