I called with what I felt was a carburetor gumming issue on my 25HP Merc and talked to a Tech and he suggested a fix for it walking me through the process over the phone and said if that didn't work, call back and they'd get me in. The fuel fix worked like a charm! Saved me about $300, not to mention losing my boat for a week in the crappie season. I called them back to offer to pay them and the Mgr (Jack) wouldn't take any money. Said just come back and see them! You don't find customer service like that anymore. Our journey with Stokley began spring of 2021 with ordering a new pontoon. We was aware of the long delay due to Covid/supply and demand/ back order...etc. After waiting all summer and getting the boat at the first of September, some things that we ordered were not there. Changes in the new model and more back order issues. But none of these issues had anything to do with Stokley. As stressful as it was for us I'm sure it is for them also. I just would like to say that Stokley has done all they could to be fair and patient through this whole thing. I really appreciate it and it doesn't go unnoticed. We purchased a used boat from Stokley's Marine earlier in the month. The entire process was effortless. I was surprised when we finished the transaction and they didn't try once, not a single time to up-sell us. They asked if we had life jackets, first aid kit, and other minimum items you are required to maintain in a boat. When I responded that we had those items, that was it. No pressure whatsoever. I wish it was this easy to buy a car, sofa, or jewelry. Those salespersons could learn a boatload from Stokley's Marine regarding how to treat a customer. A BOAT LOAD! Update. When there was an issue with the trolling motor, Stokley's Marine stood behind it and made it right. Check the store prices for life jackets, trolling motors, etc. and you will find their prices are not to be beat; not even online. Stokley's Marine has my future marine business. read more

This was the worst experience in my 50 plus years. It has put me in a different frame of mind and cautious at this point. Drove 4 hours with our boat that is in outstanding condition, had to overnight at a hotel and eat out. Dropped our boat off as a trade in that was accepted pending " formalities". We said, keep it all week! We will be back for a Lake test for the boat we were buying from them and a check for the difference. All good right?? No! My husband took a day off of work, I spent a half of day with my banker picking up a check and the night before we go to get our New Boat we get a call. They said they changed there mind and did not want to trade our boat. We were literally in shock as well as our banker. Everyone was. Said our trade seemed to have a engine idol issue???? Well, we knew then this was untrue as we had our boat checked and serviced before we took it on a 4 hour journey. It checked out perfect. We had to get in our truck. Drive back up, stay in a hotel again and go get our boat ! We had already removed our boat off all boat pages for sale so you can imagine how this looks putting it back on a week later. Stokleys has put us out of over $1000 and could "care less".. I can't make this stuff up if I tried!! One star is being extremely nice. read more

I have been a casual Stokley's customer since buying my 1st boat 10 years ago. I have purchased a few items in the store and had my boat serviced there on a few occasions. Recently though, I stopped in to look at a boat I saw advertised on Boat Trader online. It was the boat I had been looking for casually for a couple of years. Ralph Stokley was super friendly and took me to the far showroom to see the boat. He was very helpful and answered all of my questions about the boat. I didn't have much time to check it over that day, but I went back in Tuesday (they are closed on Sundays and Mondays) for a more detailed inspection. Ralph was very patient as we throughly looked the boat over and asked a lot more questions about the boat' history, trailer, etc. I decided I couldn't pass it up and so Ralph took me up front to fill out all the paperwork. This was my 1st purchase from a dealer and the staff was super helpful and friendly. They fixed a couple of minor things on the boat plus installed some fender clips for me. They also did a complete walk-through of the boat and trailer. The best part about shopping here is the personal touch. They know me by name and greet me each time I stop in there. The prices are a bit higher but I think it's worth it for the selection and level of service. read more

$400 for interior only cleaning on a small open bow? I was told $300 for exterior only, or $400 for a "full detail" interior/exterior. I declined the $300 exterior only wash and unfortunately spent $400 on the "full detail"... Picked up the boat to find the outside literally hadn't been touched. I called back and Stokleys explained exterior means "exterior, but only above the bumper"... Really? $400 for a 30 minute interior cleaning? Disappointed in Stokleys. read more
