Most importantly, my knee is significantly stronger and feels like it's back in fighting shape! Beyond the results, the entire process was much more enjoyable than I expected physical therapy to be. I had the opportunity to work with almost all of the physical therapists at this location, and every one of them was knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely pleasant to be around. I really enjoyed getting to know them while working through my exercises, and that personal connection made something that could have felt like a chore into something I actually looked forward to. They do a great job of tracking your progress from visit to visit and challenging you without pushing too hard. I always felt like the therapists genuinely cared about how I was doing and wanted to help me improve. I also appreciated the resources for working on exercises at home, including printed instructions and an app with videos demonstrating each exercise. I also have to give a special shoutout to Rachel at the front desk, who I saw most often during my appointments. She is truly a ray of sunshine! Always incredibly friendly, positive, and welcoming. My one minor criticism is that some of the equipment and interior are showing their age and look well loved. That said, everything worked perfectly well, nothing interfered with my therapy, and it didn't affect the quality of care I received. Another confusing point is that they share a building with an urgent care facility, and the Makovicka entrance is under the urgent care's sign, so it's a little confusing the first time you go. For the amount of progress I made in just a few months, I'm extremely happy I chose Makovicka and would absolutely recommend this location to anyone needing physical therapy.
