The location couldn't be any better in downtown Vernal close to everything we wanted. We spoke with the owners who are wonderful people, who recently bought the motel and are in the process of remodeling and updating the entire place. The parking lot was clean and had plenty of spots for everyone. They even had a little playground area for the kids. The best part was, it was super affordable. It was priced much lower than the big chain hotel brands but offered the same amenities. We will definitely return and stay again next time we are in town.

It sits on a very loud road, it's ancient and the rooms show it, and it's dirty. We checked in and found that while housekeeping had been there - the bed looked crisply made - they hadn't paid much mind to actually cleaning. There was what looked like blood stains on the comforter, someone's leftover meal in the mini fridge, and balled up paper on the bathroom floor. We switched rooms and found that the trash hadn't been emptied in the second room. The floor in the second room actually left our feet dirty so we wore shoes in the room. I read other reviews saying the beds are memory foam, but in the two rooms we tried (both updated), the beds both had a foam rubber pad atop the mattress, not a memory foam mattress or topper. The only positive things I can say are that the shower and the Thai restaurant across the parking lot were both good. We paid $90 for the night so I can't even say it was a good price for what we got. Stay away.

We buy every year and take it to Los Angeles for an annual Utah Pot Roast Party for our neighborhood. We get people calling in Aug to see when the party will be for that fall. We have 50 to 70 people and they all claim the pot roast is the best in the world. Several have tried to make the same with Don's rub and local meat with admitted failure. Just going in and talking with Don and his wife is a treat in itself with the plus of knowing you are going to get the best meat in the world.

One of the highlights was the fully equipped kitchen, which made meal preparation convenient and allowed us to avoid dining out for every meal. The kitchen included hot plates, an air fryer, pots and pans, bowls, basic cooking utensils, and durable dining utensils everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The front desk staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our visit. At one point, I accidentally locked myself out of the laundry room and was worried it would take a long time to resolve, but the staff responded immediately and handled the situation quickly and professionally. We ultimately decided to extend our stay by an additional night, and the process was made completely seamless by the front desk team. Kudos to the staff for providing such outstanding customer service. We would gladly stay here again.

Wow. What an amazing find. Had a commercial shoot in Vernal and I needed to find someone to cater…read morebreakfast, lunch, and provide what's known as Craft Service: the fruit, snacks, and goodies through the day that the crew grabs to keep themselves going. We had about 32 crew, talent, and agency people to cover - most came up from Salt Lake City (about 3 hrs away). I, and a few others, arrived from Los Angeles. Googling I came up with Jones & Company. Dane Jones hadn't catered a shoot before, but since he owned a restaurant or two I felt good about the decision and explained what the layout normally looks like on location. He and his team absolutely nailed it. Our talent, who deal with another film crew on a regular basis, were very impressed with the quality and presentation of the food, telling me it absolutely blew away what they normally have. And all this was done in snow and mud while temps were freezing. Everything was so delicious - we had 3-4 entrees and plenty of sides, salad, and dessert. Their over-sized rolls are made fresh. And above all that, Dane was able to find someone locally for a crew position we decided to add at the last minute. Very easy to work with. Nothing was an issue. I can't recommend them enough!
