Mismatched chairs, harsh fluorescence lighting and eating amongst the storage. You get to sit at counter or tables and watch your food being prepared and the dishes being washed. Both guys are very nice..but NOT brothers! morning If you want to get a taste to Korean. Ok, they use gochujang (I call this Korean spicy ketchup. ) I ordered bibimbop as was recommended by the cook. My fried egg was over cooked as I think requesting a runny egg was lost in translation and he gave me a fried YOLK egg. Cooked all the way. The ban Chan mixture of different Korean veggies was just okay. I miss a good ole fermented or spicy versions of kimchee. Also, I thought the rice became too mushy and some bits of the thinly slice beef was too tough or inedible. I did decide to get the chicken wings and was recommended the dakganjeong ( Korean sweet chili spices) wings. (I asked for extra chili powder on side to make more spicy...given on request). I did like the chicken wings. Nice crispy crust. Just not spicy enough with using gochujang they are serving. Would I stop by again... maybe for the wings.

Not enough seating area, so you'd be lucky if you can get a table. My friends brought me here because they said it was good, so I decided to try it. My friend Marvin got the Mussel soup, and it was huge! I tried a little bit of it, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Grilled Salmon Dosirak, and it was pretty good. I didn't eat the rice though, nor the little dessert that came with it. I only ate the Salmon, Soup, and Veggies and still filled me up! Very satisfying dinner.

After looking at their glowing Google reviews, I decided to order via UberEats for a late-night bite. I will note that the restaurant had my order ready quite quickly, and it arrived piping hot despite the weather being rainy and cold. We were certainly off to a great start there :) I was conflicted on what to order and ended up getting way too much food for 1 person. I got the Dakgangjeong Bento Box ($16) - crispy chicken in a sticky and sweet sauce, and edamame, purple rice, and seaweed salad on the side AND a Bulgogi Futomaki Gimbap ($15) roll with sauteed beef, crab, radish, etc. There were SO many pieces in the Bulgogi roll that it had to be separated into 2 containers. A seriously massive portion for the price. For the $31 I spent, I could have easily fed 3 people. Great value for the price, top-notch ingredients, quick service, and great presentation. Would definitely recommend!

Around 9, went back and got a table. Ordered pork belly and jjam bbong. Quite surprised with the strips of pork belly for just one serving and for the price! Great portion size and it was delicious. I was able to grill it myself which I prefer. The side dishes were though limited, but the kimchi and seaweed were tasty. Was shocked they didn't have any soju or even Korean beer even thought the restaurant across the street did... The jjam bbong was nice and spicy. Good chunks of seafood. Overall, not bad for the price ~ 48 euros with two bottles of beer and the food was quite good. Oh, they don't accept AmEx and they close at 10 pm on Wednesday nights.

This place felt like every other Korean spot, as the space was welcoming and cozy. I think this restaurant was specifically catered towards those wanting kbbq, because their portions for their regular entrees weren't that great considering the prices and they don't give you much banchan. While overall this hit the spot for my need for Korean food in a foreign country for myself, I felt the combo of the high prices and non-kbbq entrees that seemed catered towards individuals was slightly off putting.

When we arrived we were greeted pretty quickly and brought to a table in the main dining room. We decided we wanted hot pot so we pressed the button and the server came out. We had a couple of questions about the menu (whether all of the broths were soy-based, I'm allergic to soy so this was important) and then ordered four hot pots. The server said it would be a bit because they had to clean off a table in the hot pot area so we waited. About ten minutes passed and another server told us we could go back to that area. We were brought to our table and told how the buffet works. All of the other unoccupied tables were still dirty and remained so until we left, so they didn't seem too pressed to clean up after people left. It was a bit odd. The food itself was alright. The meats in the raw buffet were labeled but none of the other ingredients were, so it was hard to know for sure what I was getting and whether it was free from soy or not. I feel fine now (a couple hours later) so I think it was safe, but only time will tell. They didn't keep the buffet super stocked up and we had to ask for some things to be restocked a couple of times. They said it was because they were busy but they weren't - there was only a handful of people there between both rooms. Overall this place was alright. It was my first hotpot experience so I don't have anything to compare it to, but my friends are big fans and they said it was alright but our local place in Oregon was better. There wasn't a whole lot of flavor in the broth so we had to add our own.

Unfortunately we didn't have the best experience in this restaurant…read more To start there was not really any music playing and a weird smell from all the raw hotpot ingredients lingering in the building. Secondly our starters came out wrong and we corrected that but when one of our mains came out wrong we decided to just eat it as we were hungry and did not want to wait anymore. (To add we could see other customers receiving incorrect orders too) My main (ginger and scallion prawns) was maybe a 6/10 but very watery and there were chunks of unpeeled ginger in the dish which put me off slightly. The prices were steep enough considering you don't receive a side of rice/noodles with any mains. Overall I would not recommend this place if you are looking to spend a decent amount of money on a nice dinner and/or looking for a good ambience as this place did not reach any of those standards in the least. *We took the rest to takeaway as we are students and try not to waste money and had to pack the takeaway ourselves which I haven't had to do before maybe this is more common than I'm aware of.*
