We came here before when it was Stone Town Gallery and love the changes of it as Stone Town Tavern. They still have the old menu but have additional options from Thanh's kitchen. (Also it's a brilliant concept with pho being a great hangover cure and lots of drink options in one place). As someone from the DMV (DC suburbs) where there is a lot of Asian food and high prices, I was not shocked by the price, but by the quality and quantity of the pho. The bowls that come were huge and filled with noodles and beautifully laid out cuts of meat. The broth also is comparative to the broth made by the parents of my Vietnamese friend. It's just as authentic tasting and addicting. I usually can finish one bowl from the local restaurants at home but here I actually had left overs (or maybe because I was juggling a toddler and didn't have time to finish). They also had traditional topping options on the side (sriracha, hoisin, raw bean sprouts, very fresh and fragrant Thai basil, jalapeños, and lime wedges). Besides drinks, we has had a basket of buffalo chips and coconut shrimp. Loved the crinkle cut potatoes and the seasoning. The shrimp was hot and nice and crispy when they arrived. The dulce de leche (I think) cake was delicious and reminded me of butterscotch. Service was great and friendly and we got checked on multiple times. I saw on their Facebook page that Thanh sometimes has other Vietnamese specials and would be excited to try them out. They also seem to frequently have live music. Next time I'll try the summer rolls and test those out when I'm in town again. It's great that I can also bring people who would enjoy the original menu as well as the Vietnamese menu. read more

I came here because of Thanh's pho and the option for drinks! The chef for the formally Pho Vietnam Restaurant in Huntingdon now operates out of this place. Kitchen closes at 8pm FYI and love that there's separate seating for food vs bar. Portions are hefty and worth the price. You definitely get more than what you pay for and she loads you up. If you want to get a pub/ bar feel just move over to the next room. It's a quirky place that's still filled with the owner's gallery art which we all know and love. Come hungry. It's legitimately the only Pho I'll eat besides Harrisburg and Philadelphia. Everything else besides the cities I've listed has not edible...And I'm from little Saigon and I've gone back to the motherland so it's good stuff here. read more

Unexpected gem in Huntingdon! The menu has a traditional pub side and a Vietnamese side. Started with the Summer rolls and then a burger with buffalo chips. Food was great, beer was cold, and Gina provided excellent service. This is worth it! read more

Really nice, clean little town in the hills of PA. his is one of their gem businesses for sure. Found easy parking on street right in front of the place at noonish. Very nice staff who seem super pleasant. We ate out in the back patio area which was set up in a bohemian manner but welcoming and cute. The service was quick, menu selection ample and food good. My Ruben sandwich was fine (nothing special but just a regular one that would be expected), the other food items were nothing special earthier but made as expected too. It all hit the spot for lunch. Aside from having regular American restaurant lunch items, they also sever Vietnamese Phoe (soup like noodle dish) meals. But we were not being too adventurous that day so we stuck with what we knew we liked. Give it a try for sure! A great day trip to the town or weekend in the area should include this spot! Cheers! Rating my visit here it's going to be tough. First they handle a tough situation pretty well. However it was a tough situation of their own making. When they know there's a lot of people in town they need to be prepared. So I'm not gonna complain about slow service or confusion or anything like that because they did the best they could and it wasn't unpleasant. This is a cute little place with lots of nice things to buy, an interesting menu and nice people. But don't go in there looking to eat quickly no matter when you go. And that's OK. And be ready to get your own coffee refills and that's OK too. Wildflower cafe. isn't much better. Today however was probably the funniest and craziest brunch experience of my life. My daughter ordered stuffed French toast with peanut butter and cream cheese. She got two pieces of toasted bread with peanut butter and potato chips. I mean who does this. My son ordered a meatball sub. When they put the plate down on the table his chips went flying everywhere. No apology no new chips nothing. OK I I ordered the hash with over easy eggs with cheese. My ex-husband ordered hash over easy eggs with no cheese. Mine came out way before his because I ordered before he did. I had over medium eggs with no cheese. But the place was so crazy I dare not ask if this was his by mistake and just ate it. His came out 15 minutes later was actually my order. And he said it was delicious. LOL. This is going to be a really good funny memory but I probably won't go there again unless I really have to or I want to good laugh. We just had a lovely time on the back patio of Stonetown gallery. It's eclectic and charming and fun! We got the pho--one with beef and one with tofu and broccoli. Both had huge servings of protein and delicious noodles and vegetables. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was laid-back and pleasant. Highly highly recommend this place. read more

I was delightfully surprised at the delicious lunches I've had on my first few visits to this cafe/art shop. I expected it to be good, but I ordered a salad and soup and salad isn't my idea of an exciting lunch (healthy eating was my intention). The salad--the very veggie with a scoop of tuna salad and balsamic vinagrette dressing--was fabulous. It's actually a salad I could each every day. The soup, mushroom barley, was also great. Since then I've been back to have other soups (love the chicken pot pie soup), spoke with the chef and will soon be taking my hubby there. Enjoy! If you go, it won't be your last trip. Had the Pho Ga... chicken soup for the soul right there!! It was perfect. It's a cold and windy day in central PA, and that warmed us right up! Each order serves 2 people for sure. We ordered 3 for 3 people, so it looks like we'll have some lunch for tomorrow. Shucks! We were looking for a place to take my cousin to lunch on a Sunday, and the Stone Town Gallery was one of the few restaurants open. What a delightful surprise to find this place! It's in a lovely old home in downtown Huntingdon, with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Among us we had the BLT, spicy lentil soup (delicious!), chicken cordon bleu crepe, and the breakfast "mess," which my husband thoroughly enjoyed. All the food was very high quality. My visit to Stone Town Gallery was amazing! When sitting on the Patio, it is like a piece of country in town. So relaxing and peaceful! The owners are wonderful! Love them! Keep up the excellent job on putting smiles on the faces of the people in the community. Being able to bring your own wine or beer is great. 'Hunterdon? Never heard of it.' Rarely said, but I'm sure is a common reaction to the town whenever brought up in regular conversation. 'I'm going back.' Even more rarely, I would nail down when and offer cheap room rates if I was a hotel owner in the town. When I say 'I'll go back to Stone Town Gallery' it's a commitment that come with a requirement that the "pot shop" in back is open for viewing pleasure when I go back. I dont care if the train that beought this town in, took it all away tomorrow as long as this gallery relocates after (with same charm and menu). This place is part of an awesome artistic connection to the community. I had the stuffed French Toast, and clam chowder. They should provide insulin and a wheelbarrow (for my gut) to get me on my way when leaving. I loved the meal and my family all had different things from the menu that were less sugary and equally spectacular. I probably won't stay In the town again, I would definitely drive through ignoring the local Trump supporters around town as I drive by flipping the bird out the sunroof. This place is that good, if you don't think so get your head checked. Check out the gallery, live a little and buy a walking stick to support local artists. read more

I went here for breakfast with a small group of friends, and we were more than satisfied with both the service and the food -- whether it was a bowl of soup, a plate of home fries, or an especially delicious Belgian waffle. The building itself has a really great, artsy atmosphere, and you're more than welcome to walk around and look at the works of art (which are also for sale) as your food is being made. In all honesty, everything about the place was great, and if I ever find myself in Huntingdon again, I'd go back there in a heartbeat. read more

I had the big breakfast and it was perfect. Subbed grilled veggies for bacon/sausage. Came with a slice of French toast or pancake. I went with the French toast and it was simply done well.
