About 2 months ago I had shoulder surgery , and I couldn't drive for about four weeks. About 3 weeks post surgery, I received a call from "COURTNEY" ,because she was concerned that I hadn't come to the cleaners in a while and she knew that was not normal for me.. I explained to her that I had shoulder surgery, which left me unable to drive for 4 weeks. I could tell that she was sincere and truly cared about me. I thought that receiving this kind of call was so unexpected, but I was certainly grateful, for her concern about my welfare. Receiving her call, made a big impression on me..... I thought to myself, this person, who wasn't a close friend or relative , took the time and made the effort to pick up the phone, and make a call to check on me. In my book, to actually receive a phone call instead of a text message ... Is absolutely wonderful. The guy working appeared high as a kite. He couldn't even put together two sentences. I was there at 6:45, they close at 7. He told me I could not drop anything off because they closed in 15 minutes. He said that he usually locks the door at 6:45 because the "owner" doesn't want him helping customers after the time (their posted hours are until 7PM and the Open sign was on). Mind you - the guy was so high that I could barely make out what he was saying. I told him that I've often come in to drop stuff off at 6:45 and have never been told they shut down early. He said it's not the store policy but it was his "personal" policy to lock the door at 6:45 and not help any customers after that time. He also told me that if I didn't believe him, he could call the owner who would tell me the same thing. Knowing he was lying and high as a kite, I said sure, call him. The guy went into some weird episode and I felt so uncomfortable and unsafe that I left. If you're alone - I strongly advise you don't go to this location. STAY AWAY. If you want your clothes to not be damaged, STAY AWAY. If you want a dry cleaners that operates professionally, STAY AWAY. There are way too many good dry cleaners within walking distance of this one. If you're the owner, you've got a problem on your hands. Good luck with that. Now I've got to go take a shower to get the weed smoke off of my clothes I was wearing. Yuck.
