Visiting James & Molly over Independence Day Holiday and they invited me to play at their home club. Molly & I played he front nine on a very warm & humid Tuesday. It's a fun course with a short par 3 over a pond on #6, #7 is a very interesting short par 4 that is straight out and then an acute 45 degree angel over a creek, #8 is a very challenging par 3, with a downhill fairway, over a natural area and creek to narrow green. All in all a very fun & challenging front 9. The tee boxes are all in good shape, the fairways are all grassy and green and the greens are slick and fast. We played 9 holes right at a 2 hour pace. I'll be looking forward to a return to play the remaining 9. read more

Five Stars for the Oktoberfest dinner at Stonebridge! They really went all out for their annual Oktoberfest dinner on Oct 25! They decorated their restaurant and the staff were in great costumes. They even played lively oompah music and polka. So festive! We enjoyed a great buffet that clearly the chefs had a lot of fun with. There were 4 different entrees on offer and all were delicious. I loved trying so many different German foods that I'd never had before. Such a great event that they offer every year. Call early if you want a reservation as they do sell out. read more

A gem, I can't say enough good things about the country club and my experience in the Women's league on Thursday nights! They truly go above and beyond to make our time special. From fun themes and engaging games to informative clinics and exciting raffles, every week feels like a unique event! The attention to detail and dedication to enhancing our experience is evident, and it really sets this club apart. Plus, the course itself is absolutely terrific--well-maintained and challenging, making every round enjoyable. My husband and I attended the St. Patrick's Day buffet on March 16, 2025. It was $30/pp with drinks extra. With one beer and one shot, the bill came to $81.00 which would have been fine but the food really wasn't worth it. The selection was very limited. I don't eat meat so what I got was boiled potatoes and frozen carrots (the cabbage was very under cooked!) and fish cakes. There were mashed potatoes but they contained bacon! I thought I would give it a try because we are new to the area and my husband wanted a buffet. Given that this was my entire St. Paddy's Day celebration, I was really, really disappointed. Next year I will choose more carefully and it definitely will not be here. read more

Conditions have always been above average here. Cart girls and waitstaff too, added bonus. But the problem that doesn't get mentioned enough is the back 9. They have maybe the ugliest back 9 around for a course that is this nice if that makes sense. It would be the best public course in the state bar none if they remodeled it. read more

This review is based on the restaurant (open to the public) at the Stonebridge Country Club. I traveled about 15 minutes out of Manchester to this secluded golf course for dinner. Once here, the restaurant is directly straight ahead inside the clubhouse, which has several tables inside complete with cocktail bar in the corner, TV, and a fireplace. There's also outdoor patio seating out on the deck which overlooks the beautiful golf course and also outdoor screenhouse seating to the side as well. I sat myself outside around 7PM on a very quiet Thursday evening and the waitress was over taking my order shortly. Currently, the Golf Season Menu is being offered which can be found at http://www.golfstonebridgecc.com/restaurant.htm The atmosphere out on the deck is very relaxed, a night and day contrast between The Derryfield deck in Manchester, which is very noisy and crowded. Started out with the Personal Size Nachos with Chili ($9.99), crispy corn tortilla chips loaded with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, onions, jalepenos, pepperoncini, chili, and served with sour cream and a cup of medium salsa, which were very good especially with the sweet and spicy beef & black bean chili. Next, I enjoyed the Bay Scallops Wrap Special ($8.99) served with choice of frittes (fries) or house cut chips, ketchup, and pickle. The House Cut Chips were lightly fried and salted with large grain salt and very good. The wrap was very tasty and filled with breaded bay scallops, lettuce & tomatoes. Overall, the food was very good and the service was very attentive throughout my meal with the waitress going outside to check up on the meal. However, as the meal progressed and after the sunset, it got really buggy and the mosquitoes were out in full force. I needed to go inside to settle up on the check. As I was leaving, there were a couple groups of golfers enjoying pitchers of beer, drinks, and food inside the clubhouse. Anywho, I would recommend outdoor patio dining on nice sunny or clear days before the sunset. The place typically closes around 8PM during the spring. read more

Played the course this past weekend. Condition was great for mid august. Tee boxes were in fairly good shape for this deep in the year as well. Greens were good. Fairways were good, green, not underwater or burnt out. Bunkers were actual soft sand that was playable compared to some others with hard pack and rocks. Staff was nice and courteous. My daughter's wedding was held at Stonebridge on Halloween this year 2020. The wait staff was amazing, very accommodating, very pleasant, and very professional. Since the wedding was on Halloween it was cold, halfway through the reception which was held in the tent because of Covid they ran out of propane for the tent heaters! That really cut our reception a bit short and I thought that it was poor planning on their part. The food was very good. The planning end of it seemed a bit haphazard with little to no communication. read more

My wedding at Stonebridge was perfect! We had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony in September, the trees and decorated arbor were a beautiful backdrop. In the morning we had a spacious bridal suite to get ready in, with food and drinks served to us so we didn't have to worry about bringing anything in or making lunch runs. The suite has a balcony that looks out onto the course for beautiful views and fresh air while you prep. We were a little worried about the temperature at night, but the reception tent kept everyone comfortable. The staff was all very professional, attentive and made us feel like true VIPs through our whole experience. They made everything so easy on us, we really got to just enjoy the day. read more

I had several issues with this golf course, starting from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. We were first met by an extremely rude and arrogant golf pro when checking into our tee time. While on the course, we found the layout nice, but the conditions were below expectations. The players behind us were remarkably rude, playing up behind us despite us politely waiting for the people in front of us. They would fire balls dangerously at the green we were playing on and yelling at us to go while we were in the midst of waiting. I am left with nothing nice to say about this course; it is simply the worst course I have ever played at. read more

Average golf course but fine for a scramble tournament. Harassed by rangers all day starting from the moment you get there have barely parked. They search your bags to make sure you are not bringing any alcohol with you. Not a problem but the way they go about it is very condescending. They also like to sneak up on you to make sure you're not doing anything wrong on the course either. Food was not great but again typical tournament fare, hot dogs and burgers. You're under a tent so if it's hot and muggy you just want out of there. read more

So my wife and I went to Stonebridge to use their driving range. We were greeted in the clubhouse by a total A-hole, got off the phone and was looking at his computer as we stood in front of him. Asked us what we wanted, asked if they had a driving range to which he responded, "yes, you want to use it?" Then he proceeded to tell us the range was for irons only and that you needed a collar golf shirt. This guy certainly missed the workshop on customer service as he acted like he was doing us a favor just acknowledging our presence. If this is how the staff treat their customers on the course and in the restaurant, STAY AWAY!!! Interesting that I wasn't able to post a google review on their website or Facebook page, I'm certain they don't allow reviews if they can control it. Sadly, the course is in pretty bad shape, and I can't blame this on weather. It looks more like lack of care. I play courses all over the state and this was probably the worse so far this year. Not worth the money asked, not even close. However, that isn't the worse part. The ranger was rude and a complete jerk. We had 4 players in our group and one of the players is a beginner. After our tee shot on the 7th hole he stopped us and said we needed to play faster because the group in front of us, was far ahead. At this point on the 7th we had averaged 12.1 mins a hole, just below the average 13 mins a hole. We didn't hold up the group behind use at any hole, not once did they have to wait. To add insult to it, the ranger followed us around the remaining holes. We finished in 1 hour and 50 minutes. I will never suggest or recommended playing this course....ever!!! read more

I had my wedding ceremony here in August and everything was PERFECT! The views were stunning. The rates were very affordable and the staff was top notch! Cyndee Nelson went above and beyond to make our day so special. Everything was flawless from start to finish. Even during the photos after the ceremony she helped with setting up shots and took us to the most beautiful spots on the golf course to get the best backdrops. This past weekend, we paid for 9 holes and decided to play the front 9. They failed to tell us that 4 of the 9 greens were covered and that they made makeshift greens with a patch of fairway and a can of white spray paint - what a joke! I'm giving them a 2 because I've enjoyed playing here in the past, but the failure to let us know that the holes don't have greens is completely UNACCEPTABLE; we could have played the back 9... Go up the road to Countryside Golf Club - much more affordable, no frills, great golf! read more

I have been here 3 more times since the initial review for lunch. Once on a Friday, a Saturday and a Sunday, all mid afternoon between 1-3 This place is always empty even when the weather is terrific, which i do not understand, maybe I'm just going at weird times or the country club persona scares people away because they think of cost and dress code? but this place is very laid back and affordable. The food and beer is really good and the deck has an amazing view. Its like the derryfield but without the crowd and better food! We really had a phenomenal experience with Stonebridge for our wedding October 6th, 2013. Firstly, they have beautifully landscaped grounds and an excellent fall foliage backdrop! The outdoor ceremony option we had planned for includes an arbor and a lovely aisle. It rained on our wedding day it really ended up being lovely as well and we used the balcony for photos when it was misting so we still had some outdoor shots. The tent was very nice with pretty string lights elegantly covered with sheer fabric, white wooden chairs, dance floor, and because of the rain, side panels and heathers were also included. We used golf carts for our bridal party introduction! We REALLY wanted a brunch wedding and they worked with us on a package that fit our budget, desires and theme. The food was delicious! We give the most kudos to the coordinator, Brandi who was just special. She was really easy to work with, had great ideas (like an orange juice toast), and really made us understand that she was there to make things happen as we wanted and support us. It all came to be most meaningful the closer we got to the wedding. When we started to have last minute issues with a vendor she had an immediate backup plan and called to soothe me about it. She helped us make last minute meal accommodations for picky children. However, she was most amazing the day of the wedding when it rained and totally changed our plans for an outdoor ceremony. She and her staff cheered me up in the morning and as soon as I walked down the aisle and saw the room and the rest of the wedding play out, I was simply happy and amazed. You would've thought that everything was exactly as it was supposed to be and it was all beautiful. She was there to support us through the day and kept us on task with photos so that our guests could eat on time. The rain made it so the day wasn't as planned, but Brandi and the venue still made it the perfect day and we are so grateful (I teared up a little writing this). read more

First time playing here today. Fairways were VERY dry / to the point of burning out and cracking today. Tee boxes were below average. Course layout is nice (albeit it's pretty tight). Greens were OK, had a couple of putts that didnt roll true, but you can see a fair amount of ballmark damage throughout. Staff was very nice, and the ranger chirped my buddy for missing a putt short which was awesome. If you're local, not a bad value at $70 for 18 and a cart but not somewhere I'd go out of my way to get back to. read more

What an exclusive, excluding golf course. We were camping in New Boston and thought we'd enjoy 18 holes of golf while our daughter was working. We called and there were plenty of tee times. When we arrived we were VERY disappointed to be turned away because we didn't have a collared shirt! No exceptions, our clothing was not up to their standards. We searched the area and found Amherst Country club would welcome us (and squeeze us in) as we were dressed. So, we have no idea of the greens, but the service stunk! read more

I play this course often. One of my go-to's in southern New Hampshire. Here's the breakdown. Condition: Tees and fairways better than average. Fairways are not usually carpet-like but very nice. Most of the course plays pretty hard and fast. Greens were excellent this year. Much better than last year when many of them were unplayable well into the season. The rough is cut to a reasonable height. You are able to get a clean strike from off the fairway and go for the green. Not just try to hack it back into play. The sand is fine. Not super fluffy but good enough to be able to thump it out. A couple of holes seem to collect water more than they should and stay a little soggy (15,18). Overall well above average conditions, no complaints here. Layout: A solid, fair test of golf. Tees are well spaced out so the course can play as tough or as easy as you can handle. A good mix of straightforward holes, challenging holes, and a couple real unique holes sprinkled in. I find the course to be a bit of a grind which adds to the challenge. The 3 par 5's on the back side are all unreachable in 2 for those of us who are human. 17 is a beast of an uphill par 5 when you are already tired. If you are looking for a course with a bunch of weird gimmick holes this isn't the place. If you are looking for a solid, fair, and challenging round you will like it. It helps if you can hit the ball with some distance. Whenever I take good players who are serious about golf here they love it and always want to go back. Staff: Never had a bad experience here. Everyone is always friendly. I used to wish they would offer more deals but this year they had coupons for a $20 round at my local driving range so I used them all summer. Atmosphere: I love it up there. Set back on a hill in Goffstown it's like its own little world. No road noise or homes. Great views of the surrounding hills. Extremely peaceful and quiet. I highly recommend getting up there for twilight on a Sunday. You will have the place to yourself. A great way to relax, take in the atmosphere, and wind down your weekend. Favorite Holes; :6 (Downhill water carry par 3 into a very thin green.) 7 (Blind tee shot to landing area, then 90 degree turn into green.) 10 (Par 5 with a risk/reward tee shot over a marsh.) 14 (Fairway slopes hard left the whole way. If you hit right to left God help you.) 15 (90 degree dogleg left par 4. Green can be reached from the tee if you're an absolute bomber. Be careful though, you'll be hitting over the tee box of the par 3 16th) read more

Front nine and back nine are very different. The front is relatively wide open and has a couple of memorable holes. I particularly enjoy the stretch of holes 6 through 8. Six is a nice par 3 over water (it is the hole you pass on your way into the parking lot)....I believe it is modeled after one of the famous par 3's at Augusta National. 7 might not look like much, but it is fun to play. It is only about 220 yards to the woods, so no driver off the tee here. About 160-179 yards from the tee the hole turns sharply right and is split by a brook. Place a fairway wood or hybrid in the center of the fairway and you only have a 100 yard or less shot over the brook to a two tiered green. Some may even get daring a try to cut the corner over the trees and reach the green in one shot....but you have to be a long hitter that can hit a a medium iron a long way with a lot of loft. Hole 8 is a downhill, dogleg left par 4. If you can hit a draw you can put yourself in great shape for a birdie. If not, just aim for the middle of the green on your second shot. Your approach has to go over a brook and marsh area. The back nine start with a tough tee shot on a par 5...over a marsh with trees on the right. It also turns slightly right and is a bit uphill. A well place bunker on the left side of the fairway collects errant tee shots. The back nine is much tougher than the front and has more tree lined fairways. A few holes will challenge just about any golfer, but there are a few "easier" holes on the back that let you catch your breath. I would give this course 5 stars if it wasn't for two things: First it is on the pricier side. Not a deal breaker by any means, but it is a few dollars more then the average cost to play nine or eighteen. Secondly, and this is my main complaint, there are a couple of holes (mainly 15 &16) that seem like a complete after thought and feel like out of place compared to the rest of the course. Hole 15 is debatable as it is a par 4 that doglegs sharply to the left and has an elevated tee box that makes it reachable in one for some. However I find the landing area of this hole is almost always in rough shape and the hole in generally is not as well maintained as the rest of the course. Hole 16 is nothing more than filler. It is a short and completely forgettable par 3. Too bad since the rest of the course is fantastic, but I'm getting kind of picky with these two holes. All in all this is a great course that shouldn't be missed. If you like to play nine in an hour or just under, the front nine are for you. My wife and I can get the front nine done in about 1:40 if there aren't any slow groups in front of us. Play this course if you haven't already! read more

I have not golfed here in years but the Course always seems to be in decent shape and moves along well. the views are amazing, some of the best in Southern NH. Not a very difficult course to play, but there are some hazards that add complexity to your game. The Country Club itself is really nice. The bar is small but the food is great, I have never had a bad meal here and when the weather is nice it is awesome to sit outside and enjoy the views. There is a room off to the side for parties and the big tent for weddings. Overall a really good experience, the seem to do it all well. read more

Restaurant is 5 star quality, but the customer service is sadly not. I called for a tee time and was basically told when and for how many it would be for. The price is pretty good considering how beautiful the course is, but the customer service needs to get better if they want my business again. read more

Our wedding at the Stonebridge Country Club was phenomenal. The venue was beautiful, and the staff went above and beyond to help set up/clean up all of our decorations for the reception. We had our ceremony and reception indoors and the day could not have been more perfect. The real gem of the venue was Cyndee, the coordinator. We had been planning our wedding for over a year and she was there to help every step of the way. She was so supportive and did everything she could to make sure that our day was flawless. We are so grateful that such a kind and legitimately caring person helped us make our day that much more special. read more

Where to begin! We got married here on 9/26/15. We had the best wedding and the club was the perfect setting! I have to shout out to Cyndee, the wedding coordinator. She is amazing and we would not have had such a perfect wedding, if it was not for her. She met with us over a year in advance and over-viewed how flexible she can be day of. We immediately fell in love with the setting but most of all her. We booked and for the next year she was great about keeping us updated on new things they were adding for services and options. By the time we got to our final meeting, she already had the day planned and just needed a few details from me to finalize everything. We had our rehearsal dinner there and the meal was fabulous. Come day of, Cyndee did everything. She even setup the decorations and center pieces for us. She stayed with me and my now husband and her team stayed to guide our guests through the days events. I think we heard from almost everyone about how the day flowed perfectly and unlike many weddings, they were constantly doing something but not feeling rushed. That they knew exactly where they needed to be and the flow was perfect! Cyndee THANK YOU so much for all of the work you did on our big day! You are an amazing coordinator and person! I had a very bad experience here. I recently brought a golf tourny here and things did not go well. The course was not in good shape, so I was very embarrassed because my players were paying $125 each. The play was very slow it took almost 6 hours to finish and the food banquet was a complete horror show. The food was not served on time and was cold. For the huge amount of money we paid, I am disappointed and will never come back. read more
