Office staff rarely answers phones and usually doesn't call back when you leave a message. Twice I've been to the office during regular business hours and it was closed for meetings etc. It's difficult to get in touch with anyone if you have a problem with an appliance. Apartments are decent BUT poorly painted and have numerous dents and cracks in the walls. When you move out, they will nickel and dime the deposit from you. They charged my neighbor for having dust on the bathroom counter. Make sure to take pictures of the apartment BEFORE you move in so they can't charge you for something they should have fixed. Rooms are small, traffic around the apartment sucks, and pools are not cleaned as frequently as they should be. Also, rent WILL go up every single year by about 80-100 dollars. Water is a set 34 dollars (which they said they averaged).. never have I ever used 35 bucks of water a month in any other house/apt. However, maintenance is awesome. My experience Living at Stonebridge Crossing Apartments, owned by IRT living has been a constant disappointment. Over my time living here I have dealt with numerous unresolved maintenance issues, appliances not working, that take months to be fixed, pests issues that are left unresolved. One of the most upsetting parts has been the leasing companies lack of care for the elderly and tenant complaints. Some months went by where another tenant and I had to constantly check on the welfare of another elderly tenant, who was left in the under garments (completely drenched in sweat) throughout the summer due to their AC not being fixed in months. We gave the person fans, but the leasing company did NOTHING to help. Expect constant issues if you or your family moves here. There's also a constant turnover of management and your needs WILL be ignored. They will NOT budge, despite your complaints Overall, this property is poorly managed and poorly maintained. If I'm being honest, the maintenance crew they have are very respectful and they work hard but the lack of leadership in the management office makes things very difficult for them. As a tenant that has lived here.... PLEASE DONT MOVE HERE, OR ALLOW YOUR LOVED ONES TO MOVE HERE.. I'm sure my review will be deleted, but I hope you all read this and choose a different property. Do NOT allow the inexpensive rental prices to lure you in. You WILL be upset that you moved here. If only it were possible to give 0 stars.. the company has also had their public reviews turned off to prevent current tenants from commenting. I had a tour scheduled for a certain day and they canceled it an hour before it because of "staffing issues." mind you, i lived over 4 hours at the time and scheduled all my tours on this day. after this, they never reached back out to me either. ghosted by an apartment complex is crazy. read more

I have put in requests for the AC not working. I pay almost $200 a month to attempt at cooling a 2 bedroom apartment. Friends of mine whom own homes much larger pay way less. My AC has not stopped running for over 2 days & it is over 75 degrees in my apartment. I was hesitant about moving in after my girlfriend had so many issues with her AC. It took months to get hers fixed and both the inside and outside unit was busted and had to be replaced. Maintenance staff tells us it's because we live on the second floor as if that's okay. She is very condescending and rude and does not care about the well being of the tenants who live there. She is not accommodating, respectful, nor helpful. This is the worst place I've ever lived in my life. Management is very rude. Whenever there is a complaint made, management says they will give you a call to follow up, but that never happens. The trash bins are always overflowing. They've recently implemented a trash system where you leave your trash beside your door and they will pick it up. That went well for a week. Now, there's alway piles of trash outside of everyone's apartments. Also, the new trash system is a mandatory fee that will soon be added to rent, whether you decline or approve it. Because the new trash system has been implemented, there's been a significant increase in rodents and stray animals on the property. Recently, there has been a lot of gun shots made within the complex. Whenever that is reported to management, they always act like they didn't hear it. The quality of the apartment does not match the cost of rent. The security gate for the apartment is ALWAYS broken, so if you think the place is secure... think AGAIN. Horrible apartment complex!!!! My mother lives here and has had an awful experience. No full-time security service on the property. Both the front and back gates do not work properly. The front gate closed too soon on a vehicle, as it came through and ripped the entire bumper off. Strangers that don't live in the complex are always roaming around. Some of them are trying to use the pool, such as 4 or 5 older teens hanging around in groups, begging for someone to let them in. Several police cars and crime scene unit vans have been seen on property, multiple times!!!! For weeks residents had their mail and packages stolen. After numerous complaints, the apartment management installed cameras, which showed mail being stolen right from the mail truck. Finally, a crime stopper call aided in apprehending the suspect. Channel 3 news covered the story. The trash compactor is always broken causing trash to be piled up, along with the smell and wildlife rummaging through it. Her stove quit working and maintenance was rude about having to bring her a replacement. The replacement was pulled from storage and was filthy when installed. She had to spend the afternoon cleaning it before it could be used. She made several complaints about the hot water tank leaking into her apartment causing wet carpet and mold on the wall. It took a couple of months before she got a new one. The dishwasher doesn't work properly and has yet to be fixed or replaced. Spiders and other bugs are also a problem. DO NOT RENT HERE!! read more

I have nothing bad to say about Stonebridge, except the damn geese are mean! The leasing staff are always polite and helpful. I've put in two maintenance orders for very small things and had them fix the same day. It's not loud nor trashed up is night security which is good piece of mind. I read the reviews before signing my lease and realize a lot of ppl will bash a place simply because they can't afford it, or expect a brand new apartment. I have lived here for a year and unfortunately will have to tough it out for another, please don't make the same mistake. Things have drastically devolved around here and some of it is due to the neighbors, while some is due to the management. Maintenance requests take FOREVER to be taken care of. My air conditioner has pretty much leaked off and on the whole time I've been here and I have had to have a bucket in the floor for weeks. When it rains, water comes in from the top of the windows, I called that in about three months ago and have called at least four times since then about it and I still have leaky windows. My apt is also infested with spiders. The pest control guy came and said they would spray outside. I still see spiders daily, no exaggeration. I could deal with a spider here and there, but I have to be diligent about sweeping all corners every other day. We are talking three spiders per corner at times. The apt is also supposed to be gated but 99% of the time, at least one of the gates is broken and stays that way for weeks, if not months. As for the neighbors, not a day goes by that I don't hear someone speaking loudly in the breezeway, hanging out on the steps (being loud), or playing their music so loudly I can guess the song. Noise is something that can be expected in apartments, but dealing with it for long periods of time daily is nerve wracking. Litter is also becoming a noticeable issue around here. One problem is people basically just throwing their junk mail on the ground near the mailboxes. Long story short, keep it moving and don't rent here... read more

The pros here are the price and location, not in the middle of nowhere but not in the middle of everything by the mall area. The cons outweigh the pros for sure. In the year that I have been here, maintenance has been the biggest issue of all. My dryer stopped working and at first they said it was a bad outlet and that a part needed to be ordered, two weeks later they tell us they got the part in but have lots of emergencies with people's heat being out. So it takes another week and then they say they retested the outlet and it's not that and they switched out the breaker and it's still happening which means it's an issue with my dryer. Now my dryer isn't under warranty anymore so the last thing I want to do is spend money and there's not even a problem....luckily I know a couple of people who know more than I do about appliances (which admittedly isn't much), and the breaker they put in was less amps than what my dryer takes to function! So I try to go to the apartments two separate times in the same day to tell them: the first thing in the morning they have a sign on the door that says they are having a meeting and will open at 10:30...so I decide to come back after lunch time, around 1, and there is another note that says out for lunch will be back at 2, so I call them and they let me in. The maintenance people switch my breaker and literally the second load I do overheats my dryer because the wall was stuffed up (mind you when we first moved in, they were ADAMANT about being the ones who connected the dryer to the wall, which also took forever) so now I do have to cough up money because of how poorly this place is taken care of, especially by their maintenance. I'm just glad my apartment didn't catch on fire and hope it doesn't before we move out next month! Oh and the first week we lived here, waterbugs!!! The cost isn't worth it, I was treated better in Raleigh. read more

i have lived here 5 years but in the past 6 months my dish washer has not worked my ac unit leaks which has caused mold on my trim and dry wall falling down because of this they have said many times we will fix this and they don't the customer service is horrible the asst manger informed me that non of those issues were her problem wow yeah if you are thinking about moving here don't the only care about new clients and not taking care of ones they have at all and again 6 months and i cant even get a dishwasher fixed but they for sure want there rent on time read more

I had a fire in my apartment at the beginning of April because the oven was not maintained. After 30 days they have not yet repaired it and they are trying to charge me for the repairs on their faulty appliance. I have been in a two bedroom apartment since October. The dryer vent is stopped up and cannot even be attached because the clothes will not dry. If I did attach it the place would catch fire.... I have been drying my clothes and it blowing all over my apartment. The closet that the dryer is in is covered in dryer lint. They will not fix it! I have lived here for three years and have had various problems but this is unacceptable! I will be moving in October and I would not recommend this place to anyone! Also, within 3 months of moving in, the upstairs tenant overflowed their bathtub! Brown stains and holes in my ceiling as a result.... Tell me why I pay this kind of money and this has not been repaired? Maintenance told me that the upstairs tenants would be charged and it would be fixed! read more
