Been going here for 4 years. Decent doctors and hygienists. Had a last minute work trip come up, tried to reschedule my appointment. They wanted to charge me $50 because I had to reschedule. So, they lost a client forever. Hands down, would not recommend. I am so incredibly disappointed in what happened at this practice. I was told I needed 12 cavities filled, over a series of appointments. I knew something wasn't right, so I got a second and a third opinion. I only have three small cavities that will be taken care of in a single appointment. Both the second and third opinion told me I needed the same exact cavities filled. Wildly unethical. Someone should look into this practice. I am so glad I didn't have my teeth drilled unnecessarily and spend thousands of dollars that I don't have. If you go here, make sure you get a second opinion before you turn over your credit card. They also told me that it was illegal for them to charge a discounted cash rate. That is not true. They are not required to do so by law, but it is not illegal to do so. What a waste of time. I feel like I dodged a bullet by trusting my gut. read more

Be aware of questionable business practices. Rachael in billing will treat you like a number, and not think about anything through the lens of a client. I received a notice last year in November that we would now be considered "out of network" and billing would change as a result. Completely understandable. I called to learn more about what it would look like and was told that bi-annual cleanings would be covered 100%, but more of my annual coverage allotments would be used as a result. Makes sense. When I went to my cleaning on 11/27/23 it worked exactly as described. The same occurred for my daughter's cleaning on 1/5/24. I received a bill from my recent visit on 5/22/24 for the same service in excess of what she previously explained to me. As I proved to learn more she kept restating, "It's out of our control and you signed a form back in November." This is the same form I previously called her about to learn more. It's clear that people are just bills and numbers to Rachael and she doesn't see anything through the lens of a client. Super unfortunate that one person can make a business look so bad. The money is minuscule, but the principle is disheartening. I'm currently having ortho work done and had plans to complete my cosmetic work here post treatment (quoted at over $14k), but have canceled any plans to return back. Pretty sad that a business that claims to care about you can't have a simple conversation and take ownership of their lack of communication. read more

Dr. Rentz is absolutely the best! He has been our family dentist for over 8 years, starting in Las Vegas, NV. His artistic skills and talent are superb, we wouldn't think to see anyone else! We flew in this weekend from Las Vegas, just to see him. My son was born with one of his front teeth, smaller than normal. Now that he is almost 18, we are able to correct this. Within less than 2 hours, Dr. Rentz designed a beautifully matching veneer crown and made my son's smile perfect! Not only was the procedure fast, it was painless, and my son slept through most of it. But the most valuable aspect is the attention to detail Dr. Rentz takes to ensure the delivered product is of the highest quality and exceeds expectations! We had an emergency dental issue this past weekend with my son and Dr Rentz came to the office after hours to help with my sons dislocated tooth! We love this Dentist and his team. They take care of our teeth and any issues without hesitation! They make us always feel welcomed and lead us in the right direction when it comes to our teeth! They even take care of you after hours in an emergency. My family and I have been seeing Doc Rentz for over two years now. I've never had a bad experience with him, or with the staff. I have a job that takes me out of town frequently, and Michelle, the office mgr. is alway helpful in rescheduling due to this. The dental hygienists due a great job, and are friendly. Doc is professional, and has some of the latest equipment. He can even make crowns in office, one visit, no temp crowns! Everyone in the office is friendly, and make you feel at home, which is a great calming effect at the dentists office. I'm glad we found Doc Rentz. read more

Very pushy. Without even looking, they will x-ray you just because "your insurance covers it". ADA clearly recommends a visual dental exam BEFORE a x-ray is deemed necessary. And they will stop a procedure half way through cause they want you to get something else done first... Not going back. read more

Stay away from this place as they will lie to your face about checking that something is covered by insurance. I told my hygienist that I had X-rays done within the last year, and she dismissed my concern and assured me they had checked with my insurance and it was covered. Low and behold a $92 bill arrives with denial for frequency and then they had the audacity to tell me that my insurance must have lied to them. They have you sign paperwork guaranteeing you pay, lie to you about coverage and then turn you over to a collection agency when you refuse to pay for their mistake. read more

After being a patient for many years and being pleased with their services, I have to say I have been extremely unhappy with them the past two visits I have had. Their cleanings have not been as thorough, and we have been checked by a dentist other than Dr. Rentz. The exams have been less than 5 minutes with minimal communication. The billing has gotten ridiculous and things I have not been charged for before have now been sent to me in surprise bills. I was told this was because my insurance does not cover these specific X-rays- yet I was never given to option to not have these done. When I called to speak with someone it was continuously blamed on my insurance with no ownership taken for the fact that I was never given the option to receive these uncovered services. Upon speaking with my insurance, I was told that yes some of the X-rays were not covered, as they are not needed. Again, the lack of communication and being open about the services is extremely frustrating. It is bad business to conduct services without communicating the option to not receive them then turn around and blame the insurance company. We will not be back, nor will we be recommending this office to others. read more

Like most people, I've hated the dentist and would avoid as best as I could. Dr. Rentz and his caring staff have made the visits pleasant and I no longer fear the appointments! I make a really long trip from home and be sure that I always make an appointment when I'm in town in Colorado. The office smells nice, feels warm, and they have a Keurig stocked with hot beverage options. Water bottles also provided. Easy to find and get to. The parking has never been a problem as there is a huge lot in this shopping center where the office is. I don't have kids but the little kids corner would be convenient for patients with children. I've never had much of a wait and always get seen on time. I will be returning and would definitely recommend! read more

I was informed before any dental procedure was done that they were no longer in network with my insurance And was told I would have zero coverage. I was in pain so Didn't care paying out of pocket. I was given an exact total amount for a crown with 0 insurance coverage. I paid that in 2 payments in full and now 3 months later getting another bill in the mail stating "this is what insurance did not cover", when I was told I would have zero coverage to begin with. Awful customer service and just want your money. They do not care about their patients at all. Do not go. read more

Was not happy at all. I used to go there when the other dentist owned it and I loved it. But, my last visit was a mess. I went there for a simple cleaning and they never bothered to tell me beforehand about the charges. When they sent me the statement, they had not even filed the claim with my dental insurance. Also, for some reason the dentist seemed put out with the fact that I had not had any of my teeth fixed yet, my dental insurance does not pay for some procedures until the second year of coverage, and was rude. The most pleasant experience I've ever had going to the dentist! Stacy, the Hygienist, was gentle and made cleaning my teeth pain-free and enjoyable. Dr. Rentz was very thorough and knowledgeable and explained my treatment plan with great detail. The office staff was very friendly and welcoming. I took advantage of their new teeth whitening system (Sinsational Whitening). For only $100 and 20 minutes my teeth were noticeably whiter and it is virtually pain-free and I felt no sensitivity to it. Definitely will be going to this location for all my dental needs. I had called to make an appointment for a cleaning. The receptionist was very friendly on the phone and very helpful. Unfortunately for me they were booked almost three weeks out and I wouldn't able to get in before I was leaving town but the lovely receptionist offered to put me on a cancellation list if anything came up.
