Dr. Haws pulled my healthy tooth (according to my endodontist). He was VERY high pressure and had his staff join him in the high pressure when I said "no" repeatedly. He said, "You won't even miss it." (I "miss it" every minute of every day.) I can't chew on that side. Then he gave me a $5000 estimate for an implant. The staff is very unprofessional and downright rude. The crown he made never fit well, he knew it, and it came off in two years and he refused to do anything about it. The good reviews are for the dentist who owned the practice prior to Dr Haws, read the name. All the negative ones are for Dr. Haws. This is the biggest medical regret of my life. Learn from my mistake!! You'll regret using him as a dentist. read more

I had two visits and the second was worse then the last. The staff has no customer service skills and the Dentist lets his staff walk all over him. I had to go back to have my first filling completely redone because his assistant who filled it messed up. The funny thing is she blamed the dentist right in front of me and he didn't say a word. Oh, and right in the middle of drilling another assistant got a call while holding tools and stepped away and told another to take over. I was like WTF....There is more but why keep going.. This is a case of the tail wagging the dog and the Doctor best clean house or he will lose many more clients than myself. read more

Top notch for any dental care! The whole team is excellent. They put me at ease when providing care which is hard to do. I normally get high anxiety going to the dentist but not here. They really listen to your needs and treat you accordingly. I drive from Colorado Springs to be treated. It's well worth the drive. read more

Dr. Haws and staff are still the best. Second to none!! The customer service is great and the atmosphere of the office is pleasant. They are clean and conscientious about how they handle their patients. I won't allow any other dentist/surgeon to touch my mouth. I have been a Patient for 9 years now. Dr. Rayl was great but I am loving Dr. Haws. He stepped right into the office, TOOK OVER, and is doin' it!!! Dr Haws is the best dentist I have seen in 20 years and I am 26 years old. I have had countless problems and procedures since I was a kid. I have had 16 crowns, 2 fillings, one root canal, and one tooth removed in my lifetime (at other dentist offices) and all were a complete nightmare. I was shaking I was so scared to see another dentist since I have never had a decent experience. I first saw Dr Haws for a molar tooth removal and it was a completely painless procedure. He and his staff were incredibly patient, kind, and gentle with me. I will never see another dentist. I thank God I never have to experience another traumatic dentist visit. read more

I am very appreciative of the entire staff at Dr. Rayl's office. My cleanings (by Kristin) are always thorough and my recent concern about a sensitive tooth was immediately addressed. In a previous appointment several fillings required replacement and when my high anxiety level was known, Dr. Rayl made sure I had plenty of Novocain and even asked a staff member sit (and chat) with me until I felt ready for him to begin treatment. While I have seen a LOT of dentists in 50+years, the services I have received from Dr. Rayl and his staff have been the best by far! Absolute horrible customer service. Snotty, rude, not compassionate, and "entitled". The amount of professionalism in this office is non existent. I feel because I am a Medicaid patient they weren't willing to help and used my last horrible experience as a way to get me out of the office. Seems they deleted my previous yelp review when I explained how horrible of an experience I had with extraction of my wisdom teeth. So traumatic that when I went in to get the top two removed (by someone else thank god) I had a panic attack and flash backs of the oral surgeon slapping my hand away. The women who work there were extremely wonderful and helpful! I wish I could rate this place higher but the Dentist himself completely ruined my entire experience. I mentioned how I was anxious after hearing that I might have some cavities, he completely ignored me, didn't introduce himself or ask my name, and proceeded to look at my teeth. The whole time he is barking out what I assume to be my "problem areas" to the assistant, but never once acknowledged me or explained in nondental-terms what my issues were. Come to find out, I have a few cavities to take care of, but I will 100% not be coming to Dentistry at Happy Canyon to get it done. No way am I going to trust a Dentist who takes no time to meet his clients, to do local anesthetic, and work on my mouth. read more

Thank God for Happy Canyon Dentistry. Being new to the area I needed a dentist and was recommend to go to them. I needed all four of my wisdom teeth removed and was terrified of doing so.. I put it off for so long. First appointment I made was for wisdom teeth consolation. Dr. Rayl was straight to the point and knowledgeable. I can say I have anxiety when it comes to dentists. Mouth pain is not my forte. So when it came time to doing so I was a mess. But I knew i needed to buck up and get it done. Dr. Rayl, Tonny and Kathy were awesome. I could not say this enough. Although I have some memory of the wisdom tooth extraction procedure because I have high tolerance, they took amazing care. And if your like me you don't wanna go threw that again. So my highest respect for them for getting them all out in one procedure. I don't think dentist get enough credit for what they do. They need to go into peoples mouths they know nothing about and work magic. So if your lucky enough to get a staff like that its pretty outstanding. They know what their doing. They treat you like a real person. And have great sense of humor. Also he was the first dentist to inform me of jaw clenching which I have suspected but never new for sure. They just do an awesome job. It was really easy and one of the best dental experiences I've had. So if your looking for wisdom tooth removal or just a regular dentist I would defiantly recommend seeing them first. read more

I would give this dentist a MINUS 10 stars if I could. He ruined my mouth, my smile, my bite and my face. I had a cracked front tooth and he talked me into replacing my four front teeth (over $6,000) so he could make them perfect he said. Instead, I ended up with 4 different sized teeth with different lengths that are lopsided in my mouth. My smile is now completely sideways with such a huge hole left on one side that it looks like I have no teeth there when I talk. I hate smiling now and am so embarrassed that I cover my mouth with my hand. He had to file down one of the front teeth because I looked like a hillbilly with this huge protruding tooth that didn't match the other. I can't bite into sandwiches or pizza as my bite is so off I have to "saw" it with my front teeth. This has effected me terribly as I no longer enjoy eating out, in front of anyone, or with anyone because the awkwardness of my teeth causes great humiliation. I also lisp now because my teeth are so defective and don't fit right. Smiling, talking and eating have now been ruined for me because of this dentist. I informed him of the issues the very next day (as I wanted to be sure it wasn't caused by the medication) and his response was to wait a week (so the check would clear) and then verbally attacked me because I was unhappy with my lopsided mouth that didn't work...what???? Unprofessional, unskilled and unscrupulous! Avoid him at all costs!!! read more
