The murder mystery itself was the highlight, the storyline was engaging, and the actors were clearly well-trained in improv and very kind. Murder Mystery: 8/10 The room was fairly standard, what you'd expect in an old-timey house. No TV or modern extras, but there were plenty of charging outlets, which was appreciated. Room: 7/10 The food during the stay was incredibly disappointing. Most of it felt like reheated microwave meals. Breakfast included eggs, bacon (very thin, broken pieces), cubed potatoes that were oddly watery, ham slices, stale danishes, cereal cups, and a parfait option that had run out by our 9am time slot. Dinner was similar in quality. I chose the cheese ravioli, but despite being second in line, it was cold. The same watery potatoes from breakfast were served again, along with green beans. The only highlight was the coffee, which was good. Food: 2/10 Unfortunately, the parking situation is very poor. There are only 5-6 spots directly outside and a few more up the hill behind the carriage house. I was dropped off at check-in and informed staff that my boyfriend would be arriving late. I was assured there would be parking available and that staff would be present 24/7 to assist him. However, I woke up to a call from him saying he couldn't find parking. I went downstairs to get help, but no staff could be found. Not wanting to disturb other guests, I eventually gave up, and he had to park on the street in the neighborhood on top of the hill overnight. At breakfast, we were briefly told about additional parking behind the carriage house, but there was no apology or acknowledgment of the issue from the night before, nor any attempt to make it right. Parking: 1/10 The staff overall seemed inexperienced and, at times, unprofessional. While I empathize with younger staff members, there were several uncomfortable moments--such as hearing an employee joke about "killing" another staff member over a small mistake, and staff walking away mid-conversation while we were trying to ask follow-up questions. Staff: 4/10 Overall, there were some enjoyable elements, especially the murder mystery, but the experience didn't quite match the price point. With a few key improvements, this could be a much more worthwhile stay.

I HIGHLY recommend doing a Murder Mystery night or weekend at The Harry Packer Mansion! The staff…read moredid an amazing job taking care of us, while maintaining a relaxed and fun atmosphere that fully supported the actors. And the actors! They were excellent, handling any curveball sent their way, and each standing out in their own unique fashion. A+ across the board, so much fun, we had a fantastic time!

We tried the wine-pairing menu, and by the third dish I was already completely satisfied, which says a lot about the quality and richness of the experience. The atmosphere was warm, elegant, and welcoming. Chef Nicola is amazing and personally greets patrons, which makes the entire evening feel special and intimate. The wine selection is incredible, with what feels like endless options, and the pairings were thoughtful and delicious. The waitstaff were also exceptional, very knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly passionate about the food and wine. They explained each dish and pairing with confidence and care, making the experience even better. Momento is truly a gem. From the chef to the service, the wine, the atmosphere, and the food, everything felt elevated and memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a special dining experience. E

The hostess and I guess manager informed us that they were completely booked and all the open tables were reservations. After leaving I looked at opentable only to see I could have booked any table inside for 3 people at any time within the following 2 hours. So they lied. Only reason to do that is that they didn't want kids inside (we have a tall 10yr old who looks 12) Why not just say so! This is the worst I have ever been treated by a restaurant!

The entire staff went above and beyond to make our big day so special, and our family and friends were absolutely raving about the beauty of the venue, both inside and out. Many of them said that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The setting is so beautiful, and we had our ceremony outside in the pavilion. Cocktail hour was out on the porch/lawn, and the reception was in the main room. Everything was impeccably set up and decorated, and the staff worked so hard to bring my vision to life. The caterer that they recommended was excellent, and there was seamless coordination between the winery and all of the vendors. Brook Hollow has a large, diverse selection of wines, and we and our guests thoroughly enjoyed several of them throughout the day. We look forward to going back in the future for some of the winery's events, as well as to the tasting room to enjoy and stock up on the amazing wines.

It was a beautiful sunny warm day, so we decided to enjoy the flight outside. The grounds are beautiful. The place was not crowded when we visited. There was only one other couple visit visiting with two dogs. The one thing that bugged me, the samples were poured into "plastic". Next visit, I will speak up. Of the 6 wines, WE LOVED the "Reserved Chardonnay" $25 and "Reserved Cab. Franc" $45. Of course, our two favorites came home with us! Brook Hollow Winery is located right off of Route 80, just about on the Pennsylvania borderline.

Nowt a bad experience. The menu is appropriate to the wine. This is a Wine Bar- that is the focus. Jason, the proprietor knows his trade very well, and is not bashful to discuss it, his passion for it, and his history in said trade. Said passion runs thoroughly deep, and his wealth of knowledge may even supersede this. The monthly Wine Dinners showcase his unending search for lesser known, and often hard to find wines within the contiguous United States- Jason being an ex-pat Aussie. I've come to expect a bit of a story and charade with each dinner- and experience. I like that the sampled wines are all generally for sale. The food is usually paired very well, and executed as such. There do seem to be a regularly rotating staff, but that's irrelevant to the experiences. It's his show. Sometimes the portions can be a bit too large at the dinners, and that says a lot for the price- very fair. As for the restaurant proper, the portions are fine. His curated charcuterie board is spectacular, and local. The Bavarian aspect is appreciated quite well. I miss Zum Stammtisch in NY- now, that does not mean this is a German Restaurant, but there are enough influences and pop-up fare that ist es wunderbar! His schnitzels are always thin as paper, crispy as seashells, and delightfully tasty. We always have the German Fare when it's available, as it so often it. For a state populated by/with so many Germans, this is THE ONLY good true German food around. The overall decor is a bit dim (lighting) and old world European- this is not negative- I prefer this to modern settings. There is a 'secret' Narnia room which is reserved for parties of 12 or more. I quite like the concept- though have not used it- had the tour. Again, the wine list is incredibly extensive, and you can always find what you want. Ask. Then, visit the curated wine shop next door! Truly one of a kind. That's another review. Book the specialty dinners weeks in advance as they generally sell out, but pop on a standard night, as there are usually a few tables open. Sit at the bar and chat with the staff about the wines- it's an adventure.

While the food wasn't personally my favorite, a few dishes stood out--especially the Roman-style grilled artichoke, which had the perfect crispness, along with the lobster ravioli and the German apple cake, which was nicely balanced and not overly sweet. The flavors overall leaned earthy, which may just not be my personal preference, as my parents love this place and are regulars. I would definitely come back for wine and appetizers. The restaurant offers authentic German cuisine and is truly unique, with nothing else quite like it in the Lehigh Valley.
