Fresh rigatoni with lobster and truffles

This is a fine dining experience with the best chef in the area. The food choices are wonderful and nothing will disappoint you. The atmosphere and service are wonderful. I would highly recommend for any foodie. This is my favorite restaurant that I found when I lived here and always go back when I come in for a visit.

So so delicious!!! I have been here a couple of times and each time was a wonderful experience!! We called ahead since it was a holiday weekend in the Poconos. We were seated very quickly. Katie was our server and she was wonderful. She read the specials and was very knowledgeable of the menu. I was torn between the chicken Wellington and the roasted salmon. Katie said they were both delicious but recommended the salmon as it melted in your mouth. She was correct. It was delicious!! They are beginning a renovation and it will be stunning once done. The restaurant is beautiful already. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Lobster bisque (lobster and shellfish are in the puff pastry in the center!)

If you want to experience a high-end Italian restaurant in the Poconos...this is the restaurant for you. You are greeted at the door by a warm hostess who seats your party. Our waitress was super welcoming, kind, and memorized the WHOLE specials menu (it was very large) ...I was impressed. The staff also changed out our silverware and plates in between courses (which I love). Food and Drinks: The drinks were perfectly balanced and tasted amazing. The calamari was so tender and light! I loved the two sauces they served it with and how they also fried zucchini and jalapenos for an extra kick. The lobster bisque was a show! The seafood was in the puff pastry and the chef comes out to pour the bisque around the puff pastry; might I add, it was also delicious. The pasta was also cooked perfectly, and the sauce had the right balance of flavors with a LOT of seafood! I enjoyed the dinner immensely! The only thing I would say that was a slight negative about this restaurant was that the dinner took a long time to come out. Other than that, it was a great evening, and I will be back!

Momentos definitely deserves five stars. Chef Nicolo is really amazing and every dish is not only so delicious but it's so beautifully presented. Everything I had tonight was superb. I highly recommend Momento's to anybody looking for fine Italian food and would put it up against any Italian restaurant in New York City. I also need to mention Kylie, who was our server and was fantastic.

This was an amazing experience from start to finish.Every step of our service and food was phenominal. It must be a Michelin level restaurant, with clean, original and "mhm" flavours. An experience more than a meal. I loved it.

I came across this restaurant while away for work. I parked in their private lot. When I walked in I was greeted and decided to sit at the bar. Tommy was my bartender. While dining I kind of felt like they were paying extra attention to other patrons as opposed to me. I had to stare him down in order to get checked on while others had their full attention. I believe the owner was there too and did the same to certain patrons. Kind of awkward feeling. I ordered the black squid ink pasta and shrimp and it was pretty good even though it was luke warm and they had to warm it up for me. They added more squud ink and made it a little soupy but was good. The wine was good and so was the hot tottie. All in all I had an ok experience.

Some of the best food we had in the area. On the pricey side but the food and drinks were very good. We'll be back when in the area.

Ask the Community - Momento Restaurant

Are kids welcome to this restaurant or is it only for adults?

I cannot speak for the owners, but I believe well-behaved children would be welcome. I'm not aware of a children's menu. Hope that's helpful.

The murder mystery itself was the highlight, the storyline was engaging, and the actors were clearly well-trained in improv and very kind. Murder Mystery: 8/10 The room was fairly standard, what you'd expect in an old-timey house. No TV or modern extras, but there were plenty of charging outlets, which was appreciated. Room: 7/10 The food during the stay was incredibly disappointing. Most of it felt like reheated microwave meals. Breakfast included eggs, bacon (very thin, broken pieces), cubed potatoes that were oddly watery, ham slices, stale danishes, cereal cups, and a parfait option that had run out by our 9am time slot. Dinner was similar in quality. I chose the cheese ravioli, but despite being second in line, it was cold. The same watery potatoes from breakfast were served again, along with green beans. The only highlight was the coffee, which was good. Food: 2/10 Unfortunately, the parking situation is very poor. There are only 5-6 spots directly outside and a few more up the hill behind the carriage house. I was dropped off at check-in and informed staff that my boyfriend would be arriving late. I was assured there would be parking available and that staff would be present 24/7 to assist him. However, I woke up to a call from him saying he couldn't find parking. I went downstairs to get help, but no staff could be found. Not wanting to disturb other guests, I eventually gave up, and he had to park on the street in the neighborhood on top of the hill overnight. At breakfast, we were briefly told about additional parking behind the carriage house, but there was no apology or acknowledgment of the issue from the night before, nor any attempt to make it right. Parking: 1/10 The staff overall seemed inexperienced and, at times, unprofessional. While I empathize with younger staff members, there were several uncomfortable moments--such as hearing an employee joke about "killing" another staff member over a small mistake, and staff walking away mid-conversation while we were trying to ask follow-up questions. Staff: 4/10 Overall, there were some enjoyable elements, especially the murder mystery, but the experience didn't quite match the price point. With a few key improvements, this could be a much more worthwhile stay.

The entire staff went above and beyond to make our big day so special, and our family and friends were absolutely raving about the beauty of the venue, both inside and out. Many of them said that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The setting is so beautiful, and we had our ceremony outside in the pavilion. Cocktail hour was out on the porch/lawn, and the reception was in the main room. Everything was impeccably set up and decorated, and the staff worked so hard to bring my vision to life. The caterer that they recommended was excellent, and there was seamless coordination between the winery and all of the vendors. Brook Hollow has a large, diverse selection of wines, and we and our guests thoroughly enjoyed several of them throughout the day. We look forward to going back in the future for some of the winery's events, as well as to the tasting room to enjoy and stock up on the amazing wines.

They even had a live singer performing, which added a great vibe to the visit. We shared a pizza while doing our tasting, and it paired nicely with the wines. The wines were good overall, though not quite enough for us to buy a bottle. One of the wines seemed like it was starting to turn, but the rest were enjoyable. Despite that, we still had a lovely time. It's a cute stop if you're passing through and want to unwind with some music, food, and a laidback winery experience.

Nowt a bad experience. The menu is appropriate to the wine. This is a Wine Bar- that is the focus. Jason, the proprietor knows his trade very well, and is not bashful to discuss it, his passion for it, and his history in said trade. Said passion runs thoroughly deep, and his wealth of knowledge may even supersede this. The monthly Wine Dinners showcase his unending search for lesser known, and often hard to find wines within the contiguous United States- Jason being an ex-pat Aussie. I've come to expect a bit of a story and charade with each dinner- and experience. I like that the sampled wines are all generally for sale. The food is usually paired very well, and executed as such. There do seem to be a regularly rotating staff, but that's irrelevant to the experiences. It's his show. Sometimes the portions can be a bit too large at the dinners, and that says a lot for the price- very fair. As for the restaurant proper, the portions are fine. His curated charcuterie board is spectacular, and local. The Bavarian aspect is appreciated quite well. I miss Zum Stammtisch in NY- now, that does not mean this is a German Restaurant, but there are enough influences and pop-up fare that ist es wunderbar! His schnitzels are always thin as paper, crispy as seashells, and delightfully tasty. We always have the German Fare when it's available, as it so often it. For a state populated by/with so many Germans, this is THE ONLY good true German food around. The overall decor is a bit dim (lighting) and old world European- this is not negative- I prefer this to modern settings. There is a 'secret' Narnia room which is reserved for parties of 12 or more. I quite like the concept- though have not used it- had the tour. Again, the wine list is incredibly extensive, and you can always find what you want. Ask. Then, visit the curated wine shop next door! Truly one of a kind. That's another review. Book the specialty dinners weeks in advance as they generally sell out, but pop on a standard night, as there are usually a few tables open. Sit at the bar and chat with the staff about the wines- it's an adventure.

While the food wasn't personally my favorite, a few dishes stood out--especially the Roman-style grilled artichoke, which had the perfect crispness, along with the lobster ravioli and the German apple cake, which was nicely balanced and not overly sweet. The flavors overall leaned earthy, which may just not be my personal preference, as my parents love this place and are regulars. I would definitely come back for wine and appetizers. The restaurant offers authentic German cuisine and is truly unique, with nothing else quite like it in the Lehigh Valley.
