The park itself is beautifully maintained with a large wrap around walking path, tennis and basketball courts, a kids jungle gym and the small & large dog areas. They're also putting the finishing touches on some new pickleball courts. From the dog areas, you can sit on one of the benches and feel the coastal breeze while enjoying views of Morro Bay rock. The dog areas also have grass, which is uncommon for this area but a total treat! We visited on a Sunday and it wasn't too packed at all, which was really nice. There were a few people with large dogs running around but they were very nice. All the dogs were well behaved and friendly. I noticed a few families playing near the playground and sat on a bench near the playground to watch the kids play. It was cute and I noticed kids of all ages playing together. There were teenagers and toddlers. I don't know about the playground equipment because I wasn't with my kids so I wasn't able to check it out. The kids at the park loved my goats and all wanted to play with them. I allowed them to walk them and feed them their bottles for me. It was cute and the goats loved the attention. I also seen a lot of people working out. I think they might have some group activity in the evening.

Value - 5 The value here is incredible. We reserved Area A for just $65 for the whole day for our family reunion! It came with a large, double-width bbq, two picnic tables and a long, high-top serving table. That's a steal, especially considering places in Oxnard (which aren't nearly as bougie or clean) were charging well over $200. Quality / Cleanliness - 5 This park is impeccably maintained. There are two large picnic areas (require reservation) and several smaller picnic areas with bbq (first come, first served), and the large, well-maintained play area for kids is fantastic, including a jungle gym and even musical instruments. The path down to the beach is somewhat steep but totally worth it. The beach itself is super clean, with sand at low tide and lots of cute nooks and crannies to explore. At high tide, it becomes a rocky beach as the water comes right up to the path landing. Plus, it's pet-friendly! Service - N/A As a public park, there isn't a traditional "service" component to review, but the booking process for the picnic area was smooth. Physical Location - 5 The location is simply stunning. Being on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean is breathtaking. Apart of the Central Coast Dog Park Alliance, this is one of nine semi-private dog parks that request a daily $1 fee or $30 annual fee. You can pay online or in person and of course, it's on the honor system. So don't be a jerk. When we arrived on a Sunday afternoon the park was lively. A few labs and golden-mixes in the big dog section and three or four smaller pups in the small dog section. We appreciate the double gated entrance to prevent any escapes and all the signage reminding folks on the rules. While we keep potty bags on hand, we noticed the several maintained stations that offered these freely. It's clear this park is well taken care of by it's patrons and volunteers. Everyone there was pleasant, kind, and very in tune with their dogs. We appreciated the level of care and consideration everyone had with their dogs and their interactions. It made a slightly nervous mom a lot more relaxed. There was plenty of shade, trees to sniff, and toys and water bowls. Basically everything you could possibly need! While we were only there for about 10 minutes we will certainly be returning. It's also very nearby to the 46-West if you're on a wine adventure with your pup and need to give them a good break.
