Stoneside did a great job our new window covers. I'd never bought blinds before and had no idea what we needed or how it worked. Maria, our designer, came out to our house, showed us all the options and helped us pick out good roller shades. Isidro and Dustin did all the measurements and installed them quickly. The whole thing took about 8 weeks from first contact to install. We did an entire 4,200 sqft house with 11 large windows and the whole thing came in just under $10K, which was less than I expected. I contacted Stoneside Blinds while gathering quotes for custom shades in my new loft. I provided photos and measurements of the windows and asked if they could give me a rough ballpark estimate so I could compare options before scheduling any in-home consultations. Several other companies I contacted were able to review the same information and provide preliminary pricing without any issue. Stoneside, however, would not provide any pricing guidance and instead required scheduling a designer visit before even disucssing an approximate cost. While I understand and expected an in-person consultation, requiring one before sharing any pricing made it feel very pushy; and difficult to compare them with other vendors I was evaluating. When you're in the beginning stages of gathering quotes, a ballpark estimate goes a long way in helping customers decide whether it makes sense to move forward. The interaction itself was polite and professional, but the lack of pricing transparency meant I ultimately moved forward with companies that were willing to provide clearer information up front. read more

Francisco was our installer and he was efficient and incredibly professional. We did two rooms, our bedroom with variable size windows and a guest room with a singular window. Just had our blinds installed by Isidro. They look wonderful and block so much more light than our old wood slat blinds the house came with. Heather our design consultant helped pick out a great neutral color that compliments the house colors. This was a great experience from start to finish without a big high pressure sales pitch. Stoneside wasn't the cheapest option but they were able to make one of our windows in a single section where others required multiple panels.
