Damaged my property with a forklift while delivering product. No response from the company and they didn't notify me until I looked at my security cameras and noticed it was their fault. Took 9 months to get a "repair" but the "repair" didn't fix the issue and made it worse... was more of a bandaid than anything else. I followed up with my rep many times and then he finally left the company and no one else would respond to me. We even threatened legal action but the company didn't respond. Have no idea how they are in business. They have 0 customer service and don't care about your property or your business and the owner Anthony only cares about himself. Be careful with this company. Excellent little spot not far from a quarry and building supplies. It's out of the way from downtown Harwich. They have a variety of flooring and outdoor products. It's best to arrange to meet them first. They have a pleasant outdoor section, complete with a fake waterfall and koi pond. When it comes to flooring&building your dream home, they have an immense selection (with reasonable prices)- Eastern white pine, Western red cedar, redwood, barn board, reclaimed wood from barns. If you want a hipster hangout with reclaimed/recycled wood, Stonewood is the place to go. For outdoor living, they have a huge selection of natural and manufactured stone: granite, bluestone, travertine. It's worth spending several hours to talk things over, and worth the travel to Great Western Road. read more

I ordered wall block and pavers from Stonewood, and was told everything was in stock but delivery would take a week. "Ok" I said, and gave them my credit card information that they were happy to charge immediately. A week later delivery shows up, no wall block. I call and ask what happened and was told they sold it to someone else two days prior, but they ordered more in the next week or two. I asked to cancel the order because I can't do anything with out the wall block, they said sure but there is a pickup charge. I told them I would not pay a pickup charge since it was their mistake, and didn't even bother to call and let me know it was only a partial order. After all If a product is is stock and you charge me for it at that point it is mine and they have no right to sell it to anyone. I was told a manager would contact me. Guess what. Nothing heard. Stay away from this place they only want to do business with contractors, and treat homeowners like trash. read more

I purchased a product that came in a 5 gallon bucket. I tried to return the product unopened/unused and was told that Stonewood did not accept returns on bagged products. First of all the product did not come in a bag it came in a bucket! I was also not told at the time of purchase that the product was not returnable. After stating that I wasn't told that the product was not returnable, the sales clerk told me that the return policy is printed on the invoice. That's fine but you don't get the invoice until after you've purchased the product! I've been buying products from Stonewood Products since I moved to the Cape. The first month was "waiting for the insert" I was later told they are out of the stone i ordered and would I take another color. My sister purchased Sawyer Mason flooring for her entire home at Stonewood Products and they are absolutely gorgeous. I proceeded to order them for the complete reno of my own vacation home and ran into an absolute nightmare with my builder. Holly at the Mashpee location has been nothing short of amazing. She was sympathetic to my situation and has pushed out the delivery time and time again as I restarted the process with a new builder. I was anxious about losing the order but she has been empathetic to my situation, checking in via email monthly to see where the job stands. I look forward to installing the stunning flooring into my home and enjoying them for many years to come. We absolutely love Stonewood Products and have purchased quite a bit of stone and wood products from them over the last 3 years. They employees have been very helpful and knowledgable and the quality of the items like bead board are excellent. If stone is your desire, but you cannot afford the high end material, if you dig though the seconds pile you can create a wonderful outdoor space very reasonably, as we did. I wish we could rate this place zero stars, but since it is not an option one star it will be, and that is far more generous than can be imagined. After being in contact with one salesperson and designs being finalized and priced, we were left hanging for weeks....ghosted so to speak. I reached out to another salesperson who feigned interest in rectifying our ignorant sales person ignoring us and not responding to phone calls and emails. He too has chosen to not respond to our calls for assistance to close the deal. We were literally ready to pay for our item and arrange shipping but Stonewood products has many more high end clients to groom than us. Evidently our $900 item is not worth their efforts. After wasting months of our time, we will move on. The salesforce here is pathetic, unmanaged, grossly unprofessional.....a bunch of buffoons. read more

I would probably rate them higher if we were looking higher end - their selection really is amazing. Some great displays and examples of different installations. If we had the desire to really go all out, they have the products. The times we were there selecting items the sales staff was helpful. We bought through our contractor, so I can't speak to their execution beyond our browsing, but numerous people recommended them as the place to go to in the area. We ended up getting our patio pavers and outdoor fire pit kit from them - mid level quality. Prices seemed fair, though we did not price them against other stores. Horrible customer service! I made a purchase and scheduled delivery for first thing in the morning. After waiting for a few hours, along with my contractor who I was paying, I called them and they told me they were going to call driver and get back to me. Another hour went by with no word. I called and they said the items were coming on another truck and would not be at my home until much later in the day. I ended up cancelling the order. The person I spoke with could care less and was happy to get me off the phone. I will never give this company my business again, they offered no compensation for my inconvenience. I hesitate to even give them one star . As I write this, I am paying 8k to redo my floors. I purchased flooring from Stonewood, the brand they highlighted ( hard sell is more accurate ) to me was Sawyer Mason . I was told it was prefinished and nothing more was needed . With in 60 days I noticed that no matter what I did , the floors would never come clean . the dirt was literally ingrained. I do not have a high traffic houehold . Nefore this problem was apparent, I also bought stone for a patio and an outside shower . all told I paid at least $20,000. I went back to Stonewood with the problem . It was then I was told that I was told that I need to purchase a special cleaner (40$ per bottle) and I was supposed to buff in a wax coating . absolutely none of this was relayed to me by the saleswoman. She and and her manager came to my house and admitted it looked terrible . The owner refused to do anything . I unknowingly void the warranty by not using the products. the company has poorly trainEd salespeople but worse is that DO NOT stand behind their products . Stonewood is not an ethical company .They only care about your money not the customer . I would strongly discourage anyone from shopping there . Horrendous. Take your business elsewhere. Tried to purchase hard wood flooring for two months. Service is non-existent, nobody calls you back. Kahren in sales should be fired. Gave me initial quote then tried to say it was higher. Was promised calls back to confirm. Never happened. I had to chase them down. My whole project timing was contingent on this flooring. When ready to order, I called and was told I would hear back the next day. Waited a week. NO call. I called them. They said they had nothing in stock. Offered no alternative or help. At that point, I said I was done with them and would never do business with Stonewood. Seems they are too busy to care. Big mistake. read more

Lousy customer service. Bought a fire pit kit. Waited and waited for delivery to be scheduled. No one contacted me. Had to nag the sales person for weeks, but she was no help. Finally called the other store, which was supposed to make the delivery and was assured it was on the schedule for delivery in a couple of days. Morning of sales person emails me to say she just heard they never received it, so no delivery that day. They have no clue when. Had to cancel. Same delivery was to include an outdoor shower kit. So they delivered that. Scheduled a handy man to assemble it. He arrives to find they forgot to deliver the hardware. He was nice enough to go pick it up. Didn't even charge me for his extra time. Assembled the shower stall only to find out the optional benches I paid for were also missing. He went back to the store that evening, came back to my house to install them 3 days later. No extra charge. So I have an amazing handy man, but Stonewood Products is horrible. Don't recommend. read more

The reason I am giving two stars instead of one is that the sales staff was wonderful. They were courteous, answered questions--everything you could hope for from customer services. The problem was the product. We placed a large order for wide board pine. It arrived cracked, splintered, and even burned in places. How they could have shipped something in that condition is beyond me. They blame the transit company but the only way the shipper could be responsible was if they put the order in a very large blender and whirled it around for a few seconds. Will never use them again. The good news is that we refused the order and they will credit us. However, they offered no compensation for the inconvenience--which would have been good customer service. Not sure we would have taken them up on it, though. We will never use them again--not to buy a screw! read more

We had an amazing experience working with Stonewood Products and a fantastic sales person to find all our home needs. Building a new home is very stressful and Stonewood was able to reduce that stress by providing us with a place for everything. We bought all of our stone for our fireplace, pavers for our driveway, wallboarding and all of our flooring from their new Sawyer Mason line! We even took it a step further and bought a fire pit and outdoor furniture as well. Our house could not look better, our Nantucket style home is perfect. I ordered 8", 10", and 12" pine floor boards. I received boards that were 6 7/8", 8 7/8", and 10 7/8" boards. Why say 12" when it's really only 10 7/8"? Also, they were beveled on one side which made only one side useful. It's the same stuff they sell as wall paneling. Turns out there was a number in the description, wp4. Having no explanation or link explaining what it meant, it seemed unimportant. After delivery when I saw the bevel I did some research and found out wp4 meant it had the bevel. I'm a homeowner, not a contractor so I had no reason to suspect my flooring to be beveled. It would have taken only a few more words to explain to laymen what they were ordering. But that's not the bad part...I also found out the measurements were way off partly because measurements mean nothing in the world of lumber. Just the way a 2"x4" is really 1.5"x 3:5". I couldn't afford the truly wide pine boards that I really wanted, so settled for the widths mentioned above. When they turned out even narrower than stated, I was so disappointed. All these "codes" are known by professionals, but what about homeowners with limited funds who don't know that their description of the wood is not as it appears. When I called, they didn't care. The sale was made, and they didn't care that I was stuck with flooring that did NOT live up to my expectations. I feel cheated for being naive. I suggested they add a few words to their specs so everyone could understand. But the man I spoke to named John, lied to me, telling me "he'd see what he could do", and "would get back to me in a few hours". I never heard from him again. I would never buy anything from this company again. I should have listened to others to told me to buy elsewhere. The flooring is the only disappointment with my home renovation. read more

We called Stonewood Products regarding the availability of vertical grain Antique Heart of Pine. We were told that the square footage we needed was in stock at the Harwich store for $8.99. We drove an hour and a half from Rhode Island to be told they do not keep this product in stock. We would have to wait 3 weeks for a special order and the price was $12.99 a square foot. This is not a company I would want to do business with. Needless to say, we spent 3 hours driving and an hour at the store while they looked for the wood. A truely wasted day. read more

This company charged my card for a product they didn't even have in stock and weren't going to for at least another month. Then, no email, no contact, nothing. I finally called to see what was happening with my order and was told they just didn't have any and it would be at least a month before they could tell me anything?? I'm a contractor and was counting on the arrival of that order to complete a project.
