Overall, I had a bad experience with this company, early phase of the project they were very nice,…read morethey came up with reasonable estimates, for both refacing and replacing cabinets, however the actual numbers are different please BE AWARE, I went with new cabinets and countertop, for the countertop it was 76% over the estimated price, and they added bogus charges for alleged electrical work without my approval. The work was okay, the cabinets were incorrectly measured, the length of the cabinet to appropriate location to my vent was incorrectly measured, so they made a big stink about it's a standard cabinet, however, they corrected the mistake by relocating the vent to adjust with the new cabinet, the worker that made the adjustment was very rude, he walked out of my house yelling and screaming, when I asked him if he can install the kitchen hood, which was agreed that they would install all the items they appliances they removed for the new cabinet. The granite countertop edge was delivered unfinished edge, so it was scratching the new cabinet door, they did finally replace the door, and had someone to manually polish the corner countertop, but you can still see a variance between the original polished edge that was delivered and the manually polished area. I asked them to address this problem, but they pretty much ignored my emails and sent me a final notice payment and threatening to take legal actions if I didn't pay. Anyway I made the final payments for items I agreed, I will probably have to go through a legal process to correct the bogus electrical work they claim they did which we are in disagreement. Someone had already commented that they are nice until something goes wrong in a previous review, my experience was the same.

We redesigned a bit as we moved along in the process--and the contractor listened to our needs and responded with enthusiasm. While the work took longer than expected mostly due to delays in the supply chain during COVID--the work was done within a reasonable time period. There were a few adjustments needed after a month--and contractor responded quickly and with care. The end result of our kitchen project was reasonably priced, completed within a few weeks of projected timeline, and just gorgeous. I live in Truro so it's a stretch but so, so worth it. This time we did a small kitchen in my in-law apartment that was rather outdated. Edan turned that drab kitchen in to something that is not only functional but is beautiful and still keeps the theme of the rest of the small apartment. The manufacturers he works with are top notch, yet very affordable and he does his best to give you the most for your money. I could go on forever. He is informative, knowledgeable, and creative. He always is in touch with subcontractors, on the job and making sure that everything if going perfectly. I know excellent service when I experience it. This review is for the exceptional service I received when using Atlantic Marble & Granite, in Falmouth. We were doing a very needed remolding of our kitchen after over 35 years of use. During the remodel, I contacted three countertop companies and visited each one of them. From the three quotes, I received the best price from Atlantic. Not only did I get follow up with them on their quote, one of the companies never followed up with us at all. That made my decision easier. We met with a very lovely person at Atlantic, Bella, short for Izabella, and she was amazing from the start. She was knowledgeable and very patient as she helped us pick out the perfect color. We gave her all of the measurements and she took it from there. Within just a short time, they were out doing a template and a week later, the counter was ready to be installed. Unfortunately, because of issues with our cabinet makers, they had to hold it for 3 weeks. No problem they said. When the time came, they came out installing our new quartz counter. They were very courteous and professional. I was amazed the counter fit like a glove, especially where it had a jog in it and they were able manufacture it with no seam. Guy in charge started yelling at me that i should never expect that the door would not rot. I was stunned, but asked if that meant that he was refusing to honor the express warranty. He told me that he would do so "once" (meaning that if the replacement door of same type also rotted, he would not honor the warranty, which was a direct violation of the terms of the warranty). Best of all, i had to threaten legal action to actually get the replacement door after many months of delay ...might have actually been more like a year, but i am not certain. The guy, who i understood to be a manager, was so nasty that i am really shocked. Could have been a one-off, but just don't know. I will certainly not frequent them again, and when i have had contractors do work on the house since that time, a condition is that they not purchase anything on my job from Shepley. I realize that they don't need my business, but what other recourse does a consumer have? No one should spend their money at a place that treats its own customers with contempt.
