This was done intentionally the night after the resident tolled my car and called the police on me.

I recently got the cops called on and my car rolled because the stony brook commons staff decided to make the parking spot that my car has parked for over 2 weeks a handicap spot. The security guards jazmine and olashi Alexis were both extremely unreasonable because they failed to provide records when that "handicap" spot was established. Both Secuirty stated "because come in at 3pm they would no knowledge of handicap parking spot change because the office was closed." They also informed me that a resident continue to call them saying to toll my car because she wants my spot. The toll truck arrived and held my car hostage until I payed him. The resident who was complaining then proceeds to call the cops on me because I decided not to have any more conversations with her. While the cops are on their way she proceeds to create a false narrative in where I got into her face and threatened her. The security guard olashi Alexis then proceeds to argue with her taking her side. The cops arrive and she begins her manipulation act and the cops did not believe her story. The cops then call me downstairs and I tell her how she's been manipulating everyone to believe I threaten her. The police then leave because they notice that this was a waste of time. However, the next morning I see three huge scratches on my 2018 Honda HRV which was a brand new car. We obviously know who the culprit is #34A. I call the head of security which confirmed that the handicap sign was in fact moved while my car was parked in a spot. He then proceeds today we dropped the ball in this situation. I am honestly disgusted with this residence. I do not recommend any young professionals live here. The rent is about 2k for a one bedroom and the apartments are falling apart. Toilets don't flush and closets don't close. I can assure you that a young person will not enjoy living here! I wish I could have given this place no stars. They haven't compensated me for anything!

If you want to share your apartment with mice .Wake up to dead mouse in your room, mouse trap every where! Feel free to rent from Stony Broo

The rent is high for no reason, parking is ridiculous and security suck at their job.

Super friendly and helpful - they were very accommodating with furniture delivery and getting setup on move day. The apartment was in very good condition. No sound problems from other apartments. The other residents are friendly and I enjoyed their welcoming banter in the lobby. My brother says he is delighted with the apartment and is very happy with his new place. If there was an option to NOT use Comcast -- I would give them 5 stars. But the building is pre-wired.

No sound problems from other apartments which is one of the biggest issues with apartment communities around Boston area. Maintenance is responsive. Parking was an issue earlier but it was sorted out and i have not seen any problems with parking at all now, all cars have parking stickers. It is a non smoking community. Before getting this apartment I was worried about noise because of fire-station outside and a crushed stone quarry, congestion due to a school near by but trust me, it's very quiet apartment complex and there is not much traffic getting out of apartment complex heading towards the highway. When you look out of the apartment window you see big trees which gives it a country feel especially in summers. It has nice green walking area between the two buildings. They have provision for recycling so that's another plus. Staff is friendly and helpful. Neighbors are nice, some have service dogs which are quiet but some have pets who are noisy at times but again nothing out of ordinary. This location is close to I-95 so is helpful for my commute. Legacy place is always happening where we go for evening walks and is around 10 minutes drive away. Plenty of other stores near by with bus stop right outside the community. All in all Management is doing a great job. I will definitely recommend.

Mice and rats...never was the case before the new management. Supposedly working understaff well I'm sorry people will make any excuses so long as they don't live there. However, the previous and current staff in office and maintenance are beautiful and will tend to your needs the best they can with exceptions to the new management it seems. Trash outside the property and the trash in the hallway. Loiters all around any time day or night waiting to get onto the property for whatever their purpose is. Also, I went from approximately $50 yearly increase to a $300 dollar increase this year for these conditions. I call to complain about the trash and there is a $50 fine for whenever the person leaves the trash out but, this does not seem to be the case they continuously leave the trash. Embarrassed to bring guests over because you never know what you will find. Oh did I mention the entrance areas smell like urine!!! I'm done and I can't wait to vacate these premises. This is not worth $2,200 per month at all. Talking about SoMa at the T Commuter rail...really???!!! True it is but the property is horrendous! Enough said although I can say more.

Pros: 1. The apartment complex is clean and they have…read morecleaners vacuum and wipe surfaces weekly. 2. The amenities are nice and maintained 3. The leasing office and maintenance are responsive Cons: 1. Utilities are too high and property management/ leasing office refuse to do anything about it. For a 2 bed/2 bath my average water bill was $85 for normal use ( e.g. - quick daily showers, wash clothes once a week or every other week etc). The electric bill was an average of $250 and closer to $400 in the winter months because heating is also electric. So if you actually like to be warm during the winter months keep that expense in mind. 2. The walls are paper thin, you will not hear your neighbors next to you but you can hear every foot step of upstair neighbors. Hopefully you don't have a family with young kids above you, unfortunately I did. And the leasing office did nothing about it. 3. When I moved out, I was charged for scratches on the stove and +$200 was deducted from security deposit for "damages" so be aware that they will do anything to take out of security deposit if and when you move. 4. Although the apartment complex is nice, I believe the rent is overpriced and charging $100 for parking is also too much considering how much renters pay in rent; ultimately its not worth it and renters can find apartments just as nice that don't have as high rent and better located.

The current management has been great from my experience so far and Matt and Ryan in the leasing office are phenomenal! They smile and greet you as you walk by and are very approachable and quick to address any questions or issues. The apartment itself is very nice with an open floor plan and new, brand-name appliances. Side note - the water pressure in the showers is amazing. There are some great amenities like game rooms and a well-rounded gym. They also have work from home spaces and a kid's play room. Outside there is a fenced-in dog run to let your dog off leash. Some owners don't pick up after themselves but that's the same anywhere you go unfortunately. The place as a whole is very pet friendly and I see a lot of dogs around. Also, it's just a 5 minute walk to Millennium Park which is a great spot to walk your dog. Did I mention there's literally a dog daycare across the street and it's one of the nicest ones I've seen? For parking, there's assigned spaces outside in the lot and inside the garage. They also have 4 electric vehicle charging stations (8 spaces) which is a huge bonus. You pay for your parking spaces but the charging station is free so it's not so bad. Although no apartment building is perfect, I can say that I'm very happy with Oak Row overall and I'd highly recommend it!
