The parking lot is well lit and has lots of room. There's even a bench in front of the store. Inside is clean, a little full for a CVS but everything is where you expect it to be. Extra stars for the employee who checked in from his break and went right to ringing before even putting his uniform shirt back on. I was so happy to have someone help the line move while the other cashier was being bogged down by slow understanding customers. Who needs the formality if it gets me and my fellow customers on our way?

I waited 30 minutes while she was making a call to see if I could get a refill. The 16 year old intern did a way better job than her. The intern told me I could have one pill to last me until tomorrow when I could pick up my entire prescription since I needed to go to work. Why make me wait 30 minutes only to tell me I can't give you one pill. I have to bring in the prescription. Then she walked away and helped the next customer. I HAD BEEN WAITING 30 MINUTES!!! Unreal. No one cares. This pharmacy is a joke and I will be removing all of my prescriptions from Stop and Shop.

On September 28th I received notification that the status of one of them was as of yet unknown and the other one would not be ready until September 30th. It's a good thing I have a high pain tolerance. I called the pharmacy to cancel the prescriptions being filled and to obtain the numbers of three previous prescriptions which I had transferred there recently due to a current move and they only had a record of one of them even though I had confirmed them with the pharmacist at another time. They offered no apology nor were they concerned that I am taking my business elsewhere. I consider that they are totally incompetent, unprofessional and an example of the worst form of customer service. I would tell anyone to avoid them.

I brought a FedEx shipment of three packages to this location for pickup by FedEx. One of the two…read moreassociates at the front counter told me that each package needed an individual tracking number. The other seemed completely unaware of how to interpret the shipping label at all. I informed them the labels were generated on the FedEx website and were correct and that I had made similar shipments in the past without issue from that location. The first associate rudely responded that I needed to leave with my packages and find another location. I left and traveled to the FedEx full service location in Northford Ct. There, they informed me that everything was in order, handed me a receipt and wished me a good day! I recommend avoiding this Walgreens for shipping FedEx packages. It's worth an extra few minutes of driving to find knowledgeable friendly service.

For anyone who doesn't know it's a severely painful recovery. I don't usually go to the Walgreens pharmacy, but they were the only ones that carried the pain medication. My doctor prescribed.. when it was time to get my refill. They were awful.!!! I went to pick it up. They said they couldn't give it to me that my insurance needed a pre-authorization from the doctor before they could give it to me. I called the doctor then they have to call the insurance once they get the pre-authorization they have to give it back to the pharmacy. All of this takes a couple days. My surgeons office kept saying they didn't understand what the problem was. They had sent authorization back to the pharmacy within the hour. The staff at the pharmacy was so rude to me. They acted like I was drug seeking lying and just being difficult. I am two weeks out from the most painful surgery I have ever had from a surgery. My surgeon said is going to take six months for full recovery. I will never go back there and I will never recommend that place to anyone.!!!! the main pharmacist was supposed to be the manager she was argumentative instigating, completely lacked professionalism or any empathy accusatory it was awful!! Someone like that should never be in the medical field in any way shape or form.
