I've had multiple interactions with Esther at this Stop & Shop pharmacy, and each one has been consistently rude, dismissive, and lacking basic empathy. Her tone is sharp, her communication feels hostile, and there is no attempt to be helpful or understanding. Pharmacies are places where people are often dealing with health concerns, stress, or vulnerability. Being met with nastiness and insensitivity in that setting is not just unpleasant , it's alarming. Professionalism and compassion should be non-negotiable when you're working with medication and patient care, and unfortunately that has not been my experience here. I truly hope management addresses this, because no one should feel spoken down to or disrespected when accessing their medicine. read more

This pharmacy is the greatest! Jason and the other pharmacists and the staff could not be more helpful or friendly. They are willing and able to answer all my questions. Not least of all, they always get everything right, including my request for a regular (not safety) cap. It is a dramatic improvement over the chain pharmacy that I switched from. I am at high risk for a serious allergic reaction from the COVID vaccine, but decided to get it anyway. The pharmacist who administered the shot could not have been more solicitous and reassuring. She monitored me for ten minutes longer than the usual time. The convenience of being able to shop for prescription and OTC drugs in the same place has been very important to us during the pandemic - my husband and I are of a certain age. read more

I had to take my daughter to an emergency doctors appointment this morning. They told me they would be calling in a prescription in the afternoon. At 3:15 I received a call from the pharmacy advising me that they didn't habe the medication in stock and I would have to wait until Monday. The doctor's office had already closed for the weekend so there was no way for the preescription to be called in somewhere else. When I explained this to the pharmacist and told him that my daughter was only 6 months old and couldn't wait until Monday for the medicine, he called the neighboring pharmacies until he found the medicine she needed. read more

This is an awesome pharmacy located w/in the Stop & Shop. The hours are great, the staff are very helpful & courteous. Jason is a smart & awesome pharmacist/manager, he cares about each customer. I frequently see older ladies greeting & thanking him as they walk past the pharmacy while food shopping. Impressed that Jason responds & call out their names! read more

This review is strictly because of Jason at Stop and Shop Pharmacy. I cannot say enough good things about this man. If he ever left this market and opened his own pharmacy, I am convinced they would lose 99.9% of their customers. Jason is the most accessible, down to earth, accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful pharmacist I have ever come across. I hope Stop and Shop understands and values his employment here. The Pharmacy itself is fine, they will fill while you wait-- and usually only takes about 15-20 minutes and there's plenty to look around for while you wait. read more

Traveling when I realized I had forgotten my prescription. It was originally filled using a Giant pharmacy. When i called the pharmacist, Jason Leung, at the Port Washington store, he was so gracious and was able to use my information to take all the stress out of my trip.
