Refilled a prescription online... Recording said it would be ready by 10... Stop there at 12:30 wasn't done... Was told to come back or wait 15 minutes... When I replied I can't wait and that the recording told me 10 o'clock... They said that's not always correct... And said they couldn't cut in front of other people... Indian woman in the pharmacy section was really unpleasant and rude. I spoke to her over the phone about refilling a prescription. I was trying to confirm what she said and she accused me of not listening. I had heard her perfectly well, but was just trying to get clarification. I've dealt with some nice pharmacists there, but she was really unprofessional. read more

There's a lady who maybe the manager of this location always tells the customers to go to the back of the store to ring up for whatever reason, most likely she's too lazy or feels like ringing customers is beneath her?? There's also another older Caucasian lady who's a cashier and she is miserable. Always so so rude and horrible every single time she rings me up!!!! I was at this location today (Feb 1, 2022) and this is my first time visiting this location and will be my last. The manager is condescending and downright rude when asked a simple question about a product. Someone needs to retrain him and not sure how he got to be a a manager is beyond me. Yesterday I stopped in the store on Port Washington Blvd, to pick up a Chapstick for someone that is currently hospitalized. It was cold outside and sleeting windy rain awful day. So I park my car in your lot, walk through the wind and rain and sleet to make this $2.38 purchase in your store. I go directly to the counter, pick up a Chapstick in the bin by the register and place it on the counter. The clerk says nothing. Not Hello, how are you today, nada zip zilch. He's doing something else at the time and I wait for over a minute while he is fumbling around. He never acknowledges my presence. Eventually he scans the item and says "$2.38". I hand him three singles. He says nothing, gives me a receipt and the change. Then he burps in my face! Doesn't say excuse me, thank you, good bye, have a nice day. Not even screw you! If I could put zero stars I would. All the employees are rude for no reason, it is 8 in the morning and I don't wish too be yelled at by an employee in the morning. She ruined my whole day and I will never be coming back. Every-time I go to Rite Aid someone is always very disrespectful and sometimes the cashiers aren't even at the registers. Nasty attitudes and horrible service. Bathrooms are always nasty and locked. The store is always dirty and everything disorganized. read more

Absolutely incompetent. I had a prescription sent in from an online provider and was not using insurance. The lady working there couldn't grasp the idea that i didn't need to show her my insurance card. I agreed to pay whatever their out of pocket fee was. All i need to pick up a prescription is my name and date of birth as confirmed by my doctor and the 50 other times i have picked up prescriptions. Was it the pharmacists first day on the job????? Always had excellent service and a quick friendly chat at the register. Always smiles and laughs and a friendly hello with people waiting on line. Lines are not that long..if anything longest on a line I have ever waited is 3 or 4 minutes. All around, its your average rite aid to shop in. read more

Worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I've never dealt with a more incompetent pharmacy. My prescription is never ready in time even when I receive phone calls that it is ready. They tell you wait 5 min which is always at least 30 when the script should have been ready in the first place. Always a disappointment and unnecessary debacle when I come here. read more

This is honestly the rudest someone providing a service to me has ever been. The pharmacy tech actually told me that the issue at hand (aka filing my prescription) wasn't her problem. Only after getting nasty myself did she suggest that she call my doctor for a confirm on the prescription. I hate these big name pharmacies, their lines, their uneducated and disempowered employees, the wait times for the simplest prescriptions. From now on I'd rather pay cash somewhere else than let these people handle my prescriptions. read more

Always a long line at the pharmacy. I dread picking up prescriptions. The location downtown is slightly better.

I live within walking distance of this Rite Aid, yet after a few attempts to fill prescriptions at the pharmacy, I now drive down to a CVS due to the really pathetic service I've received. The pharma techs don't know their stuff (telling you that you need an Rx for something when you don't or saying that they can't fill x,y, or z) and this to me is a big issue when I am entrusting someone to provide drugs with the correct dosing etc. For regular shopping, they are ok, but incredibly pricey in comparison to other chain pharmacies. read more

I have been to this store once and i will never be back. The security was following me around the entire time and accusing me of stealing, and when i left the store i realized that i left my phone, so i went back and they told me that they have never seen it so i looked around and one of the employees who was following me around had it in a shelf right behind him, where i have never been near! My experience with the pharmacy has always been pleasant, and I have found the personnel to be efficient and helpful. Although the store lacks the friendly ambience of a local owner-operated drug store, it is certainly on a par with other chain operations of its kind. read more
