We were on vacation and my daughter had developed a cough which was growing worse. I was concerned, so I searched on Yelp, and I found Stopwatch Urgent Care near our hotel in Tigertown. Anyway, we made our way over and I must say that the entire staff from the receptionist to the nurse practitioner and to our tech everyone was very professional and polite. Our NP Melanie Price was excellent and professional. Our tech was also very sweet and concerned for my daughter's well being. We were in and out in less than an hour, and I really appreciated everything they did to help my daughter. I would highly recommend Stopwatch Urgent Care if you need medical care in the Opelika/Auburn area. The big plus is that they wrote a prescription for my daughter and we went over to the Publix market to pick it up. Publix is in the same shopping center so it was very convenient. read more

I visited this location in March this year. The medical treatment is good but the customer service by those working the front desk is terrible. Hire some better employees. They are rude. I would give this place zero stars if they could read more

My experience here was quite good! I had fallen and my glasses cut my eye in the fall. They did an amazing job with sutures and it left NO SCAR! I like how they manage patients and would rather go here than ER ANYTIME! Also, I am so grateful they are open until the evening; it makes it so much better for us and our schedules. read more

Showed up with my friend and waited for 1.5 hours before we were seen. Only talked to the doctor for 2 minutes and was trying to convince my friend she was pregnant when it was impossible. The nurse and doctor seemed very unprofessional. Waited all that time and we were just told it was a low-grade virus and that he wasn't concerned by not having eaten in 4 days. read more

Fast, easy, and great care from the employees. I came here over the summer when I was experiencing reoccurring stomach problems that were getting worse and worse....Stopwatch tested me for bacterial/viral infection. They couldn't find anything wrong there- but they could tell I was in a lot of pain so they immediately sent me to the East Alabama Medical center for a CAT scan. Turns out I had appendicitis and I was immediately sent in for surgery. Luckily my appendix wasn't ruptured and everything went well. I went to the Urgent care on S College weeks prior and they sent me home with a couple nausea pills and told me I was fine. I wonder what would of happened if I chose to go back to Urgent care instead of Stopwatch lmao.. Stopwatch is a great Urgent Care for all ages. I highly recommend. read more

Great urgent care. We made an apt online and came in a half an hour later. We were seen right away and were in and out in 30 minutes. The doctor was so professional and kind to my daughter. It was fantastic; especially on a Sunday morning when we expected everything to be closed. read more

Pretty efficient when I went in for COVID test. Will not answer the phone. There is not even an option to leave a message the call just drops. As a receptionist, I understand things get hectic, but out of the 15 phone calls we made, at least one could have been answered. Pretty unprofessional in my personal opinion! read more

My daughter just left there. She has a very bad sire throat. They checked her temp said it was fine. They did a strep test. It was negative. Also did a covid test and sent her on her way. She told them her throat was killing her. I sent her to urgent care on south college. I know they do a good job. She did have a temp. They also did a blood test and it revealed she has a bacterial infection. It was not that hard to figure out. Laziness is all that was. I'm done with this place. read more

I made an appt on Thursday to have my son tested for COVID. I received a text twenty minutes before my appt time and arrived on time to find that the COVID testing would take 5-7 days for results. I was hoping for a rapid test so I canceled my appointment. Two days later, I scheduled an appt for my son to get swabbed for strep. I got a confirmation text letting me know that my appt was scheduled so I showed up twenty minutes early. When I arrived I was told there was no provider in the office and they were technically closed. I was terribly frustrated after two bad experiences in two days at the same StopWatch so I will not be back. We've had other negative experiences in the past but this was enough to cause me not to return. read more

Fast, professional, convenient location, easy parking, close to several pharmacies. I have only had to wait 20 minutes or less.

My daughter is in college in Auburn. She went to the Opelika office, presented both her primary and secondary insurance cards. The clerk told her they do not accept secondary insurance and made her pay $125, which she paid with my credit card. When I received the receipt in the mail I called and spoke to Mrs. King. She said the clerk was wrong and should not have told my daughter that, she should have taken the secondary insurance info. Mrs. King took my info and filed the secondary claim and told me to check back in two weeks to see if claim was paid or denied. I called back in two weeks, and was told to call back in another week as claim had not been processed. Since then I have called 5 more times getting only Mrs. Kings voicemail and never getting a reply so I filed a BBB report. The BBB even had trouble getting in touch with the business on 3 occasions. The business' reply was they were waiting on an EOB, however, I spoke to my secondary insurance and they took care of the claim months ago.I can get no one at Stopwatch to contact me regarding a refund (plus interest.) I will be filing complaints with other state and local agencies. read more
