They told me that if I moved to a new unit, the rent would not increase for 6 months, so I paid men a hefty sum to move my things to another unit to get the intro rate again. But after just 3 months my rent increased again by about 50%! And there's nothing that can be done short of a lawsuit. And there have been class action lawsuits against them for this bait and switch practice.

When I arrived at the facility it was closed but I had no problem accessing my storage unit. It could not possibly have been any easier to load my items (backed the UHaul right up to a garage, loaded everything onto the provided carts, fit all of my belongings in the elevator in one trip, and easily loaded into the storage room). This place is great! My only concern is that renters can access the facility after hours, so the security of my belongings is dependent on trusting the other renters. If someone else comes in after hours and doesn't properly lock up (doesn't lock the garage, for instance), the security of everyone's belongings is compromised. I wish there was a way to address this because it is a bit concerning (perhaps auto-locking garages that close and lock after a set amount of time?). Aside from that, everything was great! Highly recommended!

I have 3 disputes going on with this company. 1. They…read morerefused to fix the promo code and came up with their own solution and closed the case without confirming with me. They continued to ignore me until I got a supervisor from FL to have it reopen and even then the woman opened and closed it without even waiting for a response. 2. There is another dispute open about a credit I have on my account. It was only to be used for delivery. The credit department decided to use my credit towards a payment that no one can tell me what it is for. I don't understand how no one can know what these charges are for! I've tried calling that department and someone picks up but doesn't speak, you just hear background noise. I have it recorded. So should PODS. 3. Another dispute in regards to an employee telling me that I wouldn't have to pay for the month of service because I'm taking my belongings out within the grace period. I have the call recorded as well I know PODS does and I have to wait 3-5 business days. Meanwhile, I do not have 3-5 business days to wait since I had to schedule my delivery 8 days in advance because it's going to take 8 days to go an hour and 20 min! No one could tell me why that was the case either. I was never told it would take that long to deliver. They don't tell you anything and they just come up with stuff as they go. I have the recording i know what she said and now I have to wait for them and they are saying they are going to cancel my delivery due to their lack of communication. I shouldn't have to have my stuff held hostage because they messed up! Again idk why it takes 8 days to deliver this stuff. It's 76 miles!!!!! Only 26 miles over the 50 mile "long distance" move. I should be able to get my stuff in a day!! I could literally travel to Florida and back like 3 or 4 times! This is crazy.They are holding my entire house worth of stuff hostage. They also didn't put The right amount of insurance on it! And denied me to get more!! they hang up on you and hold your stuff hostage!!!! the worst customer service!!!!!!!!!!! horrendous!!!!!!
