The young man at the counter appeared sluggish as I handed him the lap top and not really interested and stated that it was an older machine and asked if I had tried a different charger. To which I answered that it had taken the charge as the orange light had turned to white. (in the past that had signified that it was charged.) He looked at his computer and informed me that they were backed up and that it would be next week before they could take a look at it, then appeared to have second thoughts and said it might be at the end of the week.
