It had been towed to an auto shop where a bill was starting to add up. to be brief I'll say that Tiffany and Davin 0f Best Storage discovered a glitch on their end. They could not have been more responsive and eager to reconcile the issue. They totally took care of us. They could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. I will rest easy storing my vehicle at Best Storage knowing how caring and professional the management is.

They have carts for use (if you can find them in the labyrinth of hallways). The facility itself is very clean, however, they do have some sort of rodents due to customers storing perishable food items and they have done what they can with setting bait traps to deter these critters. I would not blame this on the facility but the unresponsive gross hoarders who choose to store and keep anything they can. This place has great rates and specials including a 15% military discount! I would make sure you have renters insurance as the roof leaks in many areas, I'm really hoping they are going to resolve this issue soon. When your inside and walking around its infesting to see how big a bowling alley is or was. Humongous!!!

With brand new Stealth Cargo hauler. And a classic very clean. Or it was.. BMW 325 xi. I secured with brand new car cover closing in the doors and securing with a rope underneath. Theres no way it could blow off. And cameras are directly above. I just recieved notice 2 people broke in to yard or climbed fence and were going through all vehicals that were unlocked. And to come and look. I called atendent. And he said ive worked here 1 year and ive never seen a car cover on your car and its terably dirty. So now being out of state for the whole time. I gave to fly to alaska.make a claim and remove my vehicles . The owner said they are aware that people rent small units just to steal from the inside. Be forwarned.. and he said Anchorage is terable for theft. That is why I choose to use what was to be the most secure facility in Anchorage. So not true. This is terable and putts sever stress on me as well now I can only imagine what my car looks like now. And my belongings under my Cargo hauler may have been taken as well. ​

I had called to change my card…read moreinformation as it had been stolen a few weeks prior and I forgot my storage was listed under auto pay. I called the ER location and was forwarded to 'Robert'. I legitimately live on the other side of the country in the mountains so my service isn't always the best. When Robert answered the phone I heard that it was public storage and it cut out after that. I stated I had a storage and .... I was immediately cut off by Robert and told that I 'probably didn't have a storage there' and 'had I been listening I would have heard this was the Debarr location.' I told Robert there was no need to be rude and I was confused as I called a 696 number which is, Eagle River. He barked and rambled about answering phones for other location when they were receiving high calls. We did exchange words, I requested his managers information. He barked that he was the manager of the location. (Oh boy.. what lucky owners) and when I called back to complain, I would ask for him and hung up. I've never had issues with the Eagle River location but I wouldn't give any form of trust or card information to 'Robert' at this location

We've been using Best Storage for 4-5 months and it has been sufficient…read more Recently, I entered the facility to retrieve something out of a vehicle we store there right after dark. As I was unloading my property I look up completely startled, there was a man walking towards me head low, hands in pocket not communicating with me etc. I called out to him and slowly responded to identify himself as security when he was less than 2 feet away from me. This might not be alarming to others, but it was dark out, some strange man walking towards me, and we have NEVER been approached there before by security/front desk. He wanted to check my ID. I can appreciate that they were ensuring someone was not stealing property, but if this is a new routine to do, send an email or stop us at the gate. If I had a weapon on me, I would have pulled it out. A golf cart, 4 wheeler, etc would be MUCH appreciated for that giant property to know someone associated with it is approaching you.
