Now you get a coke!" This is beyond disgusting behavior and a thorough investigation of this facility needs to be done.

Dogwood Festival is an outdoor shopping "mall" that you'll find on both the north and south sides…read moreof Lakeland Drive in Flowood. It's a very nice area that is kept clean and well-maintained. Parking can very often be a pain, especially on the weekends and, of course, during the Holidays; then again, what mall doesn't have that problem?! The other downside is you have to walk outside while going from store to store. It gets really hot in Mississippi during the summer, so walking around outside while shopping isn't ideal. On the north side of Lakeland Drive you'll find several of your larger stores like Best Buy, PetSmart, Target, and Stein Mart. On the south side you'll find Belk in the center of all the smaller shops such as American Eagle, Victoria's Secret, Lane Bryant, Bath & Body Works, etc. You'll pretty much find all the shops here you'd expect to find at any indoor mall. There are also many restaurants (including fast food places) on both sides. Some examples are Logans, Cheddars, El Potrillo, Backyard Burger, Chick-fil-A, McDonald's, Dickey's BBQ, and many others. I'd like to add on a more personal note that it's very interesting to see how Dogwood and Flowood really "exploded." I grew up in Pearl and I remember when there was nothing here but trees. My junior year of high school I drove from Pearl to Northwest Rankin HS every day and I'd have to drive Lakeland back and forth. There was just nothing there. Even when I moved to Florida in the 90s, there was still nothing there. Imagine my surprise when I returned to MS to visit one day and all this had popped up. I had my mouth hanging open going, "Wowwwwww!" Pretty cool! Anyway... enough of my reminiscing. This is a really nice place to shop, and if you've never been here, you're going to find so very much more than what I was able to mention.

Upon arrival, I was surprised by how small and cozy the airport was. It was extremely easy to navigate through. The baggage claim area + car rental counters were readily available downstairs and the rental center was located directly across the street. The walking distance was relatively short, which I highly appreciated. This airport is the hub for airlines such as American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Delta Airlines, and United Airlines. I traveled here using United Airlines via the commuter plane, which was actually the smallest airplane I've been on - "CommuteAir." I returned to this airport to fly home to California on Tuesday, 06/09/26. I had such a positive experience with the TSA line as it took under 5 minutes to get through. I must say it was the shortest TSA line that I've ever encountered in life so far, which was beyond convenient. The airport dining & shops included Samuel Adams / Riverbanks Bar & Grill, Dunkin', Pearl River Marketplace and Hudson. I had visited Hudson on 06/09/26, which was a convenience store filled with snacks, travel essentials, apparel, and so much more. I grabbed coffee and an Evian water bottle. The aesthetic of the airport was inviting. The restrooms were well-maintained and clean. All of the airport staff members were kind. Overall, Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport - JAN is such a lovely airport. Exploring around Mississippi by being surrounded by hospitable people and having access to delicious food were the highlights of the trip. I would be more than happy to visit Mississippi at some point again in the future.

Flying into…read moreJackson is an experience. 1 because you're most likely flying on a teeny tiny plane, but 2 because the amenities themselves are bare and minimal. While it was easy to get in and out of what was their security line, the challenge is that once inside, there really aren't any food options so plan ahead. Another challenge leaving is that you'll have to wait a long time for an uber. There weren't many other people waiting but it did take about 15 minutes for a car to be available. Just be prepared to move a little more slowly here.

I handed him the mail and asked if he would send it. Two days later, it showed up in my mailbox again. I carried it to the post office and asked if they would put it in the biller's post box that was in that post office. Two days later it's back In my mailbox. I hand delivered the bill payment to the biller. I have never trusted this post office since they retired our mail person. This new one is an idiot and so is the woman that runs the po counter.

We've always had issues, and several of us called from my business building, and even spoken to the…read morePostmaster, nothing has been done. - If it's a remotely heavy package, they'll leave it in the middle of the buildings lobby, which has MULTIPLE businesses. - If we're supposed to get a package on Sunday, forget about it. - If they don't feel like finding our office suite, they'll just say package was "undeliverable" we have to go pick it up. Why are we even paying for delivery? - if they don't feel like looking for our office suite, they sometimes drop it off at the business nearest to the front of the shopping center. - packages left in plain view, on mailboxes next to a field by our office!!
