If you are late the cycle repeats itself repeatedly resulting in multiple texts, calls, emails advising that you're late, a fee applies and other fees will be charged in the form of a "pre lien." They do not maintain the facility or weather proof your storage door equaling dirt all over your belongings along with moisture from the weather. The doors are not sealed properly. When I informed them of the issue with my locker their reply was that if they have time they'll look into it. That was 1 year ago. Poor customer service illegal collection practices.

I don't think anyone on this planet drives by a storage facility and says, "wow, what an awesome place to spend money." I don't think anyone even cares about these types of businesses.......until they need one. I had some rather expensive furniture delivered before we were ready to put it in our house and I was suddenly in need of a place/. I went to THREE different places to find a unit to rent and I got the run around over and over. The final one was on 7th east right south of Sandy city self storage. There was a sign on the door they said 'be right back'. I, along with 2 other customers sat outside in the middle of the day for more than 20 minutes. No one came. I suddenly had visions of my high school prom date ghosting me after dinner...and became frustrated seeing as how this was the third go aground. I googled storage units near me and up popped sandy city storage. And it was just a couple blocks away. I pulled up and met a man named Bailey. He was friendly, fast, efficient and had me in and out within 10 minutes. Voila. Finished! When I came back a week later to load in the furniture, he again was there and helped me get situated, and was extremely helpful. Now, several months later, I went to check out and couldn't remember the process to get into my unit. He smiled and then helped me out again. It's like Thai guy loves his job. It's like he is super proud to work for such a great....albeit....boring company. Bailey was fantastic!!! So, if you need to store l crap, or treasured jewels, give him a call and you will be glad you did. ....I wonder if the person ever came back from their break at that other storage place..... oh wellZ. Dollies are never by the loading area so you have to search all over for them. I was charged for a lock when I arrived and returned it immediately because I had my own. He did not reimburse me until 6 weeks after I cleared the storage, and only because I contacted Extra Storage through social media! DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!!!

He has stepped up personally to help a couple of times when I needed extra hands which is great . I highly recommend extra space storage especially at this location . The units are clean. The walkways are clean. The entire facility is nice and clean which is not always the case. The units are easily accessed, and there are sufficient dollies to help with the move. The units are also climate controlled which is a plus.

I try to call them, but the automated service makes you lose 30 min of my time without being able to speak to someone who can solve your problem. Now I will need to spend a couple of hours to drive to the location and talk to a human being or escalate the issue via my bank. I strongly recommend you rent from a local storage and not Public Storage which tries to automate everything, but reduces their service to a one star.

I called today to let them know that I will have the rest of my stuff out by tonight because I just got a new place and they were so willing to work with me. His wife prorated my rent so I wasn't paying for the whole month even know my stuff would have only been there 1 week. I would like to add my boyfriend told them a few days ago that we were moving out by the 10th so I didn't blind side them. I would advise being courteous and giving them a heads up. If I need to store anything again this is the place I will come!

Alas, today, just a guy on Yelp writing reviews. Man, I can remember like it was yesterday. I was freshly divorced, bought a new Subaru Outback (that apparently is a station wagon and not an SUV) and I was towing a trailer to another journey. The air was crisp on that October morning in 2020 and I was leaving SLC in the rear view. Not an easy choice, but the only one at that time. But, first, I had to put all my personal belongings in storage and I checked a few spots. It was not cheap. This shop was nice and clean, secure, and in an area with good lighting and a pretty safe hood too. I was lucky enough to find my guy Andrew D. at this spot and he's been super helpful! I got a nice spot for all my garbag.... personal items, I stacked it up and boom. Easy as apple pie. I've been with these guys for 4 years. My longest steady relationship since the divorce. But jokes aside, my man Andrew D. has been a super cool dude to work with and he's one of the good guys. Even with the price increases over the years, they have been kind enough to work with me when my finances were not stellar. Solid shop and you should move all your stuff in today and tell all your peeps to drop by and see Andrew D.
