They were great, they went at our speed and were totally flexible when scheduling lessons. The studio is beautiful, well lit and very clean. If you have the budget to take some ballroom dance lessons for your wedding dance- DO IT!!! We went a big overboard and took a ton of ballroom dance lessons ahead of time because we've always liked to dance but honestly this became one of our FAVORITE parts of the engaged era. Not only was it a fun way to prep for our first dance, but it also turned into the best date nights and a really special bonding experience for us as a couple. Alli from Storm Dance Studio is an absolute gem--she's so sweet, fun, and clearly passionate about what she does. She let us move at our own pace, really listened to what we wanted, and was incredibly flexible when we needed to reschedule or adjust our goals. I highly recommend Storm Ballroom. Although I once felt that I had two left feet when it came to dancing, I have been amazed a t what I have accomplished, particularly because of Tommy and Jenny Radon. Let me be perfectly clear, Liz is a superstar! The consummate professional and deserves five stars! The owner, on the other hand, is the south end of a northbound horse! He is rude, violates your space, infringes on your precious time and changes music during the middle of your lesson ruining the important dance steps Liz is trying to demonstrate. This place is too expensive when you consider less than 50% of your time will be useful and productive. Shop around and ask the questions like, "How many students are on the dance floor at the same time? How do you handle the music if some students are learning a tango and the others are learning hip-hop?" My mom dances at Storm Ballroom and I tag along with her. When I was little I used to take lessons there and liked it but stopped when I had to join the swim team. Tommy and Jenny are very supportive to my mom dancing; they take her to competitions and she wins first place. The guy who wrote a bad review is very wrong. Tommy and Jenny switch songs so everyone gets equal time for dancing. Their dog Sebastian is very sweet. He greets you when you come to the door and he loves meeting new people. I've been taking dance lessons at Storm Ballroom for over four years. The owners, Tommy and Jenny are true professionals, not only as world title holders but as business owners. When you join their studio you become part of their family and you are treated as such. They make ballroom instruction so much fun that you forget how hard you are working and how much you are learning. The sign of a successful ballroom is the amount of students are there at one time and how much fun they are having. I have to take issue with the person who left a poor review because the music was changed. In any dance studio that is the norm with multiple students and instructors. I would recommend that person find a much less successful studio if he wants to be the only one in the room dancing. Ballroom dancing is so much fun and great exercise. I have danced at Storm for close to 8 years and consider myself very fortunate to be dancing with Tommy and this studio. This ballroom is one of the best in the country and holds many national accolades and titles. Tommy and Jenny treat their students like an extended family, the teachers and instruction are exceptional and the lesson prices are very reasonable and competitive. You will not find a more welcoming and supportive atmosphere from the teachers to your fellow students. If you are looking for a wedding dance, want to learn social dancing or simply just want to learn to dance, this is the place for you, you will not regret it. In response to a recent review...everyone is entitled to their opinion good, bad or indifferent, but before making derogatory negative comments that can harm a persons business, make sure that you understand what you are writing about, the person in question obviously does not get the etiquette and workings of a ballroom studio. Any successful ballroom that you go to there will most likely be multiple lessons going on, and maybe it was not explained or you did not understand, but the floor space is shared as well as the music. A private lesson means a one on one, not that you get the studio and the music to yourself, this is the case for any ballroom that I have danced with. I have never seen Tommy, Jenny or any of the other teachers be disrespectful to each other or any students in regards to the floor or music. I find that having multiple lessons going on at the same time is stimulating and it makes me feel like the studio has a soul. read more

I have really loved my sessions so far! We got the Groupon and wanted to get some lessons for our wedding, since our song isn't a traditional slow song. We really enjoyed it and decided to buy the package after the fact. They choreograph the entire dance for you and are very hands on. They make it super easy to learn. Went there years ago. Great lessons with Tommy when he didn't cancel last minute ! Had a contract that said I could get a refund so after more than 50% of my lessons were cancelled or rescheduled last minute I asked for refund-took months and many excuses . Tommy even told my lawyer don't bother him he's dying of cancer. Which ps he isn't. read more

I have been taking lessons at Storm for a little over a year and it has been life changing. I was an empty nester looking for something new to do. I have lost weight, thanks to LaBlast classes and Lisa, and have been able to work on my self confidence with my group and private lessons. Curt Jenny Tommy and Staci are wonderful teachers and truly care about their Students. Bethany is great at keeping the schedules moving I have made some wonderful friends and have a new social outlet as well. This shy insecure girl even has done competitions. I've attended their beginner group classes and I'd say it's a great way to spend a Friday evening! I go with my guy (who is also a big fan), but I'd definitely recommend it for those without a dance partner as well. The instructors are all so friendly and welcoming.
