Have you ever gone to your regular medical provider and felt that your concerns were dismissed or written off as "you're just getting older"? So at the recommendation of a co-worker, I found myself at the refinery. I had the pleasure of seeing DNP Melissa Deister, and I have never felt more heard. She listened to everything I had to say, then rolled up her sleeves and came up with a plan. She came up with a supplement regimen for me to take, and I kid you not... within a week of taking them, she "un-effed" my gut. I have seen 4 GI specialists over a decade, and NONE could do what she did in a week.. That alone is LIFE CHANGING to me. For the first time in a decade, I did not have to take a GI cramping medication several times a day. I did not have to memorize where all the restrooms were located in a facility.
