Beware before you move you things into the storage unit. They don't tell you as soon as you get everything in the unit they raise you rent and not only do they raise your rent once at a significant amount. They raise it again soon after the first raise. It went from one hundred a month to two hundred a month. Read the fine print that they didn't give me before you rent! Just a warning. They did this right after the two bad hurricanes in Fl. They take advantage of people. I had two units and they raised them both. Im getting out and will never rent from them again. read more

Their facility is rundown looking. The office is dark lit and the staff look slovenly. The come-on was cheap and by the 2nd month the rent had doubled. I moved to a smaller unit to try and stay cheap but the rent went up again. read more

DONT RENT FROM THESE SCUMBAGS! I've been here 6 months and they are raising my rent!! "Due to maintaining our high standards" looks like they have never updates. I was hesitant to rent a pace but knew it was temporary. Again look elsewhere! They will raise your rent 6 months, 12 month and another 12months. Horrible business ethics. I must say that I am new to "yelp" and this Business deserves my first Review because of the ease that was unexpected at "U STOR N LOCK". First of all, I've done research online to figure out the best overall rate on a Storage Facility that not only offers a good value for the pricing but has great Customer Service as well. I've passed by this facility on many occasions not ever expecting that I will be a Customer here when it comes to the needs of Storage due to the unfamiliarity of the Name and the notion of not ever needing this type of service. What attracted me the most was the great pricing offered for the type of unit being displayed versus other Storage Facilities which had the same sized unit at a higher price. The ease of reserving the space was very helpful on 'www.sparefoot.com' and upon my arrival, the Property Manager (Linda) was tremendously kind and assisted in any way that she could especially when I told her this was my very first time needing a Storage Facility. She took the time to show me around and go over the many amenities that are provided. The inside Office/Store was very well kept/clean and small in size however, when going to the actual site of where all the Storage Units are, its massive! A Gentleman by the name of Dave ensures that the area is clean and this is very important to me when renting this type of service because one of my questions was about pests and ensuring if all units are neat and protected. I definitely suggest this place to anyone who is needing a Storage Unit at a Great Value versus other providers because you definitely feel as though they care about you as a person versus only a Customer which goes a long way. I agree with previous reviews. The service and overall pricing is great. Customer service and ease of rental were good,as well as friendliness of staff. However the advertised $1 first month is a little deceiving when the admin fee and mandatory insurance are tacked on. With a lock added in, it came out to around the regular monthly rate. The place is a little dated, but they are making attempts to update. Overall a positive experience, suits my need for the time! read more

Horrible customer service. Tried to have insurance removed and the woman REFUSED to help and actually hung up on me! Incredibly unprofessional. Upon signing up, the woman working made a rude comment about Greek girls, which was upsetting, as I am Greek. Prices also keep getting raised, which is frustrating seeing as I picked them for their price. Definitely WOULD NOT recommend this place to anyone!!! read more
