    Matcha latte
    Craig D.

This place is a cute cafe on the corner, on a quieter stretch up the road from busy Clapham Junction. Service is really friendly and the decor is minimal but thoughtful. We had two drinks, which were fairly priced and tasty. The filter coffee was served with the bag of coffee on the table, which was a neat touch to showcase the beans. Minus a few stars because: both our drinks weren't served hot enough, but only warm; as well, the filter coffee was on the smaller side. Last, they were playing cool music but kept switching songs midway through and changing genres, which was a bit distracting and took away from the atmosphere.

Happened past this spot on a leisurely walk around the neighborhood I'm staying for the next few weeks. Perfect cappuccino, clean & cool interior design, friendly staff. Great place to stop for your daily read or writing, a little brunch snack and a great coffee.

Best coffee in South West London! I am a huge fan of their flat whites and their matcha lattes.

We visited for a pre-"Hamilton" (the musical playing around the corner at the Victoria Theatre)…read moredinner after searching on Yelp for some well-rated restaurants in the area. My son made a reservation and must have been asked about his birthday, because after being seated by the friendly maitre d' (I think his name was Alex), the maitre d' returned to the table to note that he had been informed that it was someone's birthday. We confirmed that it was my son's birthday the following day, at which point the maitre d' left and came back a few minutes later with a card for my son. The card wished my son Happy Birthday from the various wait staff and said we were being given a 20% discount off our meal (typically, the gift is 20% off your next meal, but the matter d' recognized we were from the US and were unlikely to be making regular visits to the restaurant). After this wonderful greeting, we ordered food from the pre-theatre menu, and we loved all of the food except the tempura broccoli, which was very heavy and too salty for my taste. My son and I especially liked the Longhorn sirloin steak with an egg on top, and my wife was happy with her king prawn salad. My only disappointment was that we ate too much that day and, therefore, we decided to forego dessert, which meant no sticky toffee doughnut. Overall, an excellent meal!

We ordered the Chicken Bun (which is a Chicken Sandwich) and it was super good! The chipotle Mayo really makes the dish. The lamb lettuce bowl was good as well, heavy on the raisins. Skewers were tasty as well. We got artichoke dip to start and it was really great, has a hint of lime. The only food that wasn't exactly what we expected was the mac&cheese, it could use a bit more cheesy cheese. Overall super cute ambiance, great food & kind people! Would come again!!

I loved the decor and atmosphere. Food: My friend and I both ordered the traditional English breakfast. I had mine with vegan sausage. The breakfast was exactly what I expected and was pretty good. I was excited they had a vegan sausage option instead of leaving the sausage off like other places. Service: Our service was quick and friendly. We were able to order promptly and our food came out in an expected amount of time. There is a bit of a time limit for stays because they are so busy, but we didn't feel rushed at all. TL;DR - Lovely place for an English breakfast

They squeezed us in between two tables! There is a huge amount of cakes and large scones with jam and cream as well as yummy sandwiches. There is a large selection of teas. The "set"tea had more of a homemade rather than elegant or theme based teas but my granddaughters were very happy to choose what they wanted to eat! The tables are pretty close together so go early if you prefer it to be less busy!

Even the asparagus deserved its own review. Staff knew how to make the evening a hit including a very rare thing: a well mixed martini. Our meal was topped off with a perfect British sponge cake snuggled down in warm toffee and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The environment of casual benches and chairs with homemade cushions surprisingly served to make the relaxed ambiance the perfect background for the fine dining. The chef and staff share their process in an open kitchen which allows the diner to appreciate the whole experience. No one hurried us. Everyone was professional and lively. Everything on the plate was FANTASTIC. I especially want to note the bacon- I'm somewhat of a bacon snob and theirs was perfectly done. Thick and cooked enough to be sturdy but not overcooked and too crispy. My first time trying black pudding and I was a little hesitant, but it was also delicious. Highly recommend this place. I wish we were staying longer in London, we'd probably come back every morning!
