At…read moredrop off on day 1, the school's second in command yelled at my wife for dropping my daughter off 15 minutes earlier than the assigned drop off time. It was the first day so we weren't aware that the school's open hours are not the same as the assigned hours for your child. It was a precursor for what was to come. In the 1 month my daughter attended here, she was sent home 4 separate times for having a runny nose, even though she was not sick. Each time she was not allowed back without a doctor's note. Each time, the doctor said she was healthy and fine. I had to watch my daughter for 13 days that month--shuttling her to doctors to get a note to satisfy the mad woman running this place. All the while, I'm paying this place (and the doctors) and hoping my work wouldn't fire me. When I brought up the ridiculousness of the policy with an email, the head kicked my daughter out of the school. The idea that the people here care about your child is a farce. Leaving this place was a blessing. If the toxic fumes from the adjacent auto repair shops are not enough for you to avoid this place, I hope my caution here gives some insight to the toxicity inside. If you do join here, make sure you don't question the supreme overlord. Or maybe you should so you can get out of your contract and go to a better place.

Extremely disappointing experience with this school from beginning to end…read more To start, they require children to undergo lead blood testing just to attend their summer camp, an unnecessary and intrusive requirement. More concerning, however, is their discriminatory treatment of children with IEPs. Both of my children were enrolled in the camp, but after I submitted one of their IEPs (at the school's request), they revoked that child's admission within a few hours of me sending the report. This decision was made solely based on their IEP. I had mentioned that they were welcome to call his current teacher to gain more information in regard to how well he/she was doing, but they didn't want to hear it - full admission denial one month before the start of camp. I would not, under any circumstances, recommend this school.

My son was initially a reluctant reader who was not pushed but gently guided. He self-motivated into reading well above grade level. He has always loved math and because of the Montessori program, has progressed at his own pace and is excelling. The teachers keep a peaceful, respectful environment where kids of all abilities and diverse backgrounds are made to feel an integral part of the classroom. The classrooms are bright, large and clean and the library is full of resources. There are smart boards that are relied upon to an appropriate degree. Tech class, Spanish, Music, Gym, Art are all 1x/week and are led by excellent teachers too. The student-teacher ratio is excellent also.

That was until I had a son in 2023. I instantly knew I wanted my son to attend LTA as they had played such a pivotal role in my daughter's learning process. When I made my first outreach they were completely full and had no spots at the time. So, I waited and one random day I went to the school and Ms. Ginatay was so pleasant, she provided me with all the information needed for enrollment and we arranged a walk through even though I was already familiar with the school there were some new faces and few changes that had taken place over the years. My son began his first day of pre-k this past September and I am completely satisfied with the level of care they provide to my child. Ms. Mijae, & Ms. Ebony are amazing, they are so patient with their class, and I have watched first hand as they multitask and meet each child's need. I am so thankful to have a safe place to send my child and know that they are also receiving quality care and great education.

By the time he was two years old, he already knew all of his letters and their sounds, the seven continents, and the major bodies of water. Now at six years old, he is socially confident, speaks exceptionally well, and can do addition, subtraction, multiplication, and even long division. He can also write full paragraphs and identify parts of speech such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. Like any school, there are always challenges, but I have chosen to keep my son here because I truly see the value it has added to his development and education. The class sizes are small, around 18 students, and the focus is on mastery, not memorization. Communication between the teachers and parents has always been excellent. Most importantly, this school supports and reinforces the faith-based principles and values that are important to our family.
