I received an email notification that the flowers were delivered on the same day to the recipient (although I didn't confirm with the receiver if they got it as it was for a bereavement and that would just be tacky of me to follow-up with her in her time of grieving). Very good and affordable options for various occasions. Again, as this was an online order, I'm not sure what the end product looked like in comparison to the photo on their website. I highly recommend this company for online delivery of flowers for their quick processing and same day delivery options.

If that's the best bouquet they can make, then this is a 3-star flower shop! One thing I like about this place is the convenience. They have some pre-designed arrangements in the back. I was able to pick one of those and customize to what I wanted. They have a large variety of beautiful flowers and roses to choose from. They also have single roses in different colours which my friend purchased. Great customer service, they were patient and tended to what I wanted. They were friendly and knowledgeable. Several days prior to Mother's Day, I placed an order on Freshland's website for a bouquet ($88 after fees). Since I was opting for pick-up instead of delivery, I selected the payment method of "in-store". A couple of days later, I received a call from an employee asking for my credit card information so that they could process the payment before making my order. This call was unexpected, and I asked if there was another way I could pay because I wasn't comfortable reading anything off over the phone. They allowed me to send an e-transfer instead, which was an OK alternative. While I can understand that processes have changed under COVID guidelines, having an "in-store" payment option online with no indication that we will be called and asked for card information is a bit of an unpleasant shock. 2. Yesterday, I picked up my flower arrangement and it so poorly resembled what I ordered on the website. Understandably, Mother's Day is a busy time for florists and with stock limitations, some substitutions are necessary. HOWEVER, what I received did not at all resemble the arrangement advertised - I have attached photos so you can make the call for yourself. Less subtle differences to call out: no succulent (just a bunch of leaves in the shape of a succulent lol), SIZE, colour way (but ok, substitutions maybe? This can slide). It's pretty, but it's not what I ordered and paid for. 3. Flower freshness. Most of the flowers came fully bloomed so we knew immediately the arrangement wouldn't last very long. Some petals were starting to brown and wilt, and today (the day after pick-up) some petals have fallen out already. The arrangement costed over $88 after tax, and was underwhelming. I tried really hard to convince myself I liked it, but after showing photos to a friend who used to work in a flower shop I knew a review was imminent. I'm disappointed that this was my experience with Freshland because I've had excellent experiences with shops in downtown Toronto and have been looking for a business closer to home to support. We were assured they 'do even better work' than the previous owners, so we went ahead. They estimated $150. Then due to time of year shortages of flowers, and us asking for orchids raised the estimate to $250. I had mentioned at one point 'if you need a little more to do the finest job, that's ok'. I was surprised when they charged my card $305 dollars plus tax and delivery, $376. The standing spray that was delivered contained a dozen white roses, 6 calla Lillies, six spider mums and a few other stems around the outside. No orchids ($300?). It was a mostly green bouquet, and didn't come close to the quality of other bouquets that day. We apologized to the family and were so upset that we nearly (but didn't) ask for a refund. We should have just bought dozens of simple white rose bouquets (or gone elsewhere, and next time we will). Little value for money. The staff there is really good at making recommendations if you come in with a budget and something in mind- whether it's a colour theme or specific flower you want to build the bouquet around. As soon as I got out of the visitation that evening there was a message from Terry. She had checked the time and corrected me. It was 10:00. The shop is located in an industrial area, so be sure to follow the GPS as there is no sign that signifies their presence. The location is rather small, with a standard-size fridge? To keep the roses in. I initially intended to pick up some red roses, but after seeing how pretty the white ones were--I couldn't say no. I'm still amazed by the deal I got. The staff mentioned it was their "pick-up" special. My new go-to!
