Jackie Wolf is the owner of this establishment. I have had her treat me for aches and pains in my shoulders, neck, and back. She runs a very professional, clean, and personable business. If you are unsure of who to schedule with she recommends massage therapists that will fit your needs. I personally like deep (borderline painful) massages. I also don't like anything lower than my lower back touched, and no matter who I have had they center on you feeling comfortable. Jackie's recommendations were always spot on.

Best advice ever, very grateful for Eric's outstanding recommendation and even more indebted to have a professional like Joanne looking to keep this body functioning. As a typical runner, I abuse my body with a lot of running miles (trails and road, speed and recovery). She is always working her magic to get this body ready to keep on training and racing. Last year I damaged my ankle (deltoid ligament tear and posterior tibialis tendinitis)and went through PT. But honestly it was Joanne's healing hands breaking up the adhesions and increasing my ankle's range of motion so I could race in one of my bucket list runs (JFK 50 miler). She is always quick to assess problems that are brewing due to bad form, wrong shoes, etc. and provides great insight on what I need to focus on to avoid future injuries. I respect Joanne's knowledge and understanding of how different sports impact the body in different ways. She has given me "homework" on how I can strengthen weaknesses to avoid future injuries and I appreciate this preventative "medicine" approach. She approaches you holistically and I can tell you that I have never had anyone take that approach; they only focus on the current issue/injury. We are both long time clients of the salon and spa. I no longer get my hair styled there as my stylist opened her own salon, but will occasionally visit for spa pampering or product purchases. I would like to start my review by saying my Signature Spa Pedicure experience with Meagan was excellent. The service lasted 60 minutes as described and my feet looked and felt great! to her. However, my friend a long time and regular hair and spa client had a different experience. While she was happy with her pedicure, her service was approximately half the time. While finishing up her technician even made a point to explain to my friend that my technician was new therefore slower. Feeling confused and giving my friend's technician the benefit of the doubt we decided to inquire whether my friend was mistakenly booked for an Express Pedicure which is described as a 30 minute service. The main difference between the two is the length of time and a minor difference is you elect a scrub OR lotion. Both reception and the salon manager confirmed my friend received a Signature Spa Pedicure because she had all the listed services and also reiterated that my technician was new, therefore still learning and slower. I equate this to signing up for a 60 minute massage and it only lasting 30 minutes then told because it was full body it was in fact a 60 minute massage even though it lasted 30 minutes. This is upsetting for my friend essentially paid an extra $18 for one extra application and was left sitting half the time while I continued to get pampered. Also when reception checked out us out before we even approached the desk or asking how we'd like to pay. She debited both our credits on file even though my friend intended to treat for my birthday. While I planned on paying for my own service, but they shouldn't assume. Overall I would advise anyone seeking a pedicure to save yourself $18 and opt for an Express Pedicure and apply lotion yourself at the end. To Simply Swank treat your new stylists/trainees AND long time regular customers better.
