During the entire session, the massage therapist repeatedly pulled and twisted my wife's shoulder in a way that caused significant pain and discomfort. We have both had many professional massages over the years and have never experienced anything like this. What's most concerning is that more than a month later, her shoulder is still causing her significant pain. The issue has become serious enough that she is now undergoing an MRI because she believes something may have been injured during the session. While we cannot say with certainty what the MRI will show, the timing and circumstances are extremely concerning. Based on our experience, I would urge others to exercise caution and make sure they communicate clearly with the therapist if anything feels uncomfortable or painful during treatment.

I have been going to Stox since I was in high school (around 15 years ago), and I have always had wonderful experiences there. I have been in both the Murrells inlet, and Pawleys locations. I mostly go to Pawleys, because that is where Courtney works (my stylist for several years now). She is amazing, always does a wonderful job, and is like my therapist. I love my hair, it's the one thing I can control, and I'd literally never trust it with ANYONE else. She's amazing, the salon is amazing, relaxing, and beautiful. I've also gotten a mani/pedi and massage there. All amazing. Would recommend this place to anyone! read more

Catina is an amazing stylist. I was the mother of the groom and she styled my hair for his wedding and it was amazing.
