If only Randy knew an ounce about business, he would have called me to let me know his schedule was full and to schedule an appointment in the future (then keep the promise). But he couldn't even do that. I don't care how great he is, if he cannot follow up with his customers, he may as well not be in business at all. Just today I found that my sprinkler system pipes had burst- this was no emergency and not a real plumbing issue, but Jacob showed up after finishing a job in town, and came to take a look anyways. Jacob is a plumber, so he does not do sprinkler systems, but again he showed up to take a look, and help explain what the problems might be. He was helpful in suggesting a specialist in town that he recommends. He pointed out where some of the problems areas are, and what I should look for. This was a big help as we needed to give an idea to our insurance of the extent and nature of the winter damage. This was very helpful. I'd expect most plumbers just to tell me "I don't do sprinklers" and hang up. Jacob though came right over after I called, and as always was very reliable, professional, and responsive.
