Grayden was great!! He asked if we have had any issues since our last treatment. I declined the interior treatment because I have not seen 1 bug since I started using Strand!! He went over what he would do outside then suggested he at least do the interior of my garage..great suggestion. After he was complete, he reviewed what he had done in great detail. He did tell me if we had any issue inside (since I declined the inside treatment) that I can just call in and they will come out to treat it as part of my quarterly plan. I have been with Strand under the original owners and never had a pest problem . I have had 2 services under new management and I have seen, spiders , stick bugs and other critters. They must be using another product ? Maybe not spraying outside well , charging same amount , but not working read more

This company used to be great. They are under new ownership or management and only care about their bottom line. Now they only treat the outside even though you pay for both inside and outside unless you happen to be home. They call the day of treatment and if they can't reach you only do the outside. This happened to us and now I have roaches. First time in 14 years of using them, first time we have had bugs and first time inside was untreated although paid for both. Had called them about not doing inside and they noted my complaint. Also termite inspection was a joke for $160. read more

I just got finished drying out my newly encapsulated crawl space for the second time in as many years. I had my yearly inspection done about 2 weeks ago and the technician once again knocked out the dehumidifier overflow line to the sump pump caused about 40 gallons of water to accumulate under my home. I should have noticed it sooner however with the extreme hot weather I figured the runoff was evaporating, was I wrong. This same issue occurred at last years inspection and wasn't noticed for 2 weeks or more. I just paid $283.50 for nothing but headaches. Fool me twice shame on me...there WILL NOT be a third time. I haven't heard of one business ever getting better after a buy out....sad.... I'm done with Strand!! read more

had them from when i first beought the house paid and they sprayed evey year. Came this year young kid looked around the house with a flash light about 40 minutes no spraying unless they see Termites ??? But then it is to late .Was charged $160 dollars for looking around my house for Termite trails ???? What a rip off. need to report to the BBB and the City office read more

Denise called over a month after when my quarterly pest service was due to schedule and I asked why, but she just stated they were too busy to respond to all of their clients, so I no longer had any faith in their ability to take care of my needs. I only have them come out if I get too busy and need some help. Our 2 star review is more about the company and not the service technician. We have been loyal customers since 2009. We understand the company is no longer family owned and with that changes are expected. What we don't understand is Strand not contacting their long time customers to alert them to those changes. We just had our annual termite inspection and expected the technician to spray the perimeter of the house as well as inspect the inside which has always been the norm for our annual. The technician informed us when he got here that they no longer spray the perimeter and he would be inspecting the inside and walk the perimeter and that would be the extent of the annual inspection. There has definitely been a decrease in service but no decrease in the cost. read more

After at least 10 years as a customer I was not even given the courtesy of a call back from "Johnny" concerning termites. I changed to Allied and they stopped by the next day. Maybe Strand has gotten too big. Unfortunate. read more

Terrible. As they were doing my termite bond they cut 2 water lines. The plumber they brought out did a terrible job and we have been stuck with problems ever since. We can not get ahold of anyone for the renewal and have have trouble getting ahold of someone to fix this issue. read more

The company in NC is excellent!! Always answer the phone, scheduling is a breeze and Bill is great. Having the same guy treating the house is great as he knows the history. The first thing he asks before he even treats the house is are you seeing anything that would cause concern? If so, he treats accordingly. Extremely personable and respectful. When we were first new to the area he explained a few bug types, things that we may see more frequently, and if we saw certain things to immediately call. He is always on time, if not early, but respectful and will call to see if we are available to let him come early. I couldn't be happier and their prices are competitive but honestly I would pay extra for the personal service I get each time Bill comes to our house. read more

Their prices are not clear cut and seem blatantly unfair. My mom pays $15 less than I was quoted and she has a much bigger house! It is also in Little River, just like me. My in-laws pay $10 less than I was quoted and we have the same number of bedrooms and are less than 1/2 mile apart. Again, we are all in Little River. They cannot clearly articulate why there is such a difference in price. Prices should be transparent and not random. read more

They are efficient once they arrive; Expect to get put to a voice mail and then you have to wait for a call to be returned; this could be a challenge if you are in a job whereby you can not take calls during the day except on your breaks. They require a contract and will not come out until they have a contract signed. If you need them to come a couple of weeks sooner, it will not happen as they do not have enough staff to handle any more business. They do not come back out if it rains the next day, then you are out of luck and you can expect bugs in the beach area. read more
