Have been customer of Strand for at least 10 years. Have used for quarterly pest control, termite as well as a complete crawl space encapsulation. For the most part their service was good, and we liked that they were locally owned and operated. If there was ever a problem, they took care of it. They were recently sold, and their service has gotten worse and worse. Their last 2 service calls were disasters. In January they scheduled in and outside pest control. Service man came (supposedly as we never saw him) and sprayed outside but no inside. We complained, the call was remade. They then tried to bill us for a separate visit though they had agreed there but be no charge for the return. Took several phone calls before they corrected. This month they called and scheduled both in and outside. The service man showed up, completed inside and then claimed he knew nothing about outside and did not have the time to complete. My wife called the office to complain and ended up in a shouting match with the lady on the phone. My wife is by nature a very calm person, has a heart condition and just does not easily become upset. Seems the clerk at Strand did not like the fact that my wife had told her just to cancel the additional work. She told my wife in a very hateful manner that she should reschedule as we were going to be billed for the outside even if service call was cancelled. I took over the call and let her know that her rudeness had caused their loss of a long-time customer. Strand does not want our business, and they will get their wish! I should also advise that we had a standing order for a specific Strand service man noted on our records and he was not sent on the first January call nor on the call in April. read more

Was a loyal customer for many years but when we couldn't get back to our seasonal home in 2021 due to Covid, they cancelled our yearly service. However, they would be happy to start it again for an additional $1200+. So much for caring about loyal customers. We won't be using them again. read more

The gentleman who came to the house was very nice, but when he returned he was unable to access the garage. When we got back to town we were informed by the very rude office staff that the 30 days was over by two days so therefore they would not be returning to finish the job. Will not use them again!! read more
