Well worth keeping an eye on their diverse schedule of films and what might be coming ahead. Modest selection of concessions available in the airy lobby, which also includes local art available for display and purchase.

I hate big theaters that seat close to 100 people. They have done some renovations. They now have the reclining leather seats and they have a tray for food that swings in front of you and it has a cup holder in it. The recline on the seats is perfect and they are so comfortable. The seats and theater is also very clean. The worker who we bought our tickets and concessions from was also very helpful. She pointed us towards a drink and popcorn combo that ended saving us money and getting us more popcorn and drink! I literally don't want to go to another theater besides this one - not interested! I do not live in the area, but I am more than willing to make the drive to experience this theater again!

It is so wonderful that Rhode Island still has some local cinemas, especially after the recent closure of Aquidneck Island's Island Cinemas, a perennial favorite night out locale. The All South County is in the same vein- friendly, neighborhood oriented service, comfy seats, and clean theaters. You gotta love supporting local, especially when choosing how to spend your precious nights out! The staff is what really makes this place special, though. Comprised mostly of URI students, they are friendly and eager to assist, answer questions, or offer recommendations for everything from popcorn mix ins to the movies themselves. The auditoriums are tiny, the layout is awkward, and the overall vibe still screams early-2000s multiplex that never fully recovered from the mall-cinema apocalypse. There are no true luxury levels here. No upscale feel. No spacious seating pods. No immersive screens. Just cramped little rooms with recliners stuffed into them like an afterthought. It's the cinematic equivalent of putting leather seats in a 1998 Corolla and calling it a luxury car. The lobby still feels dated, the flow is clunky, and nothing about the experience feels elevated. It's functional -- barely -- but that's the nicest thing I can say. If you're expecting a modern theater experience, this isn't it. It's a patch job, not a transformation, and it shows in every corner of the building. Bottom line: reclining seats alone do not equal an upgrade. This place needed a full teardown and rebuild, not a cosmetic facelift.

And the staff seems to have a clearer system at this point to take care of food and drink at the start of the show and let the guests enjoy their movie. Being on the Vineyard boat schedule inevitably leads to more checking of the time during the film than I would in other locations. I wouldn't mind an opportunity to see an old fashioned event movie here with a large crowd, if and when that comes to pass.

They come and take your order in your seat, actually have good food (better than some of the restaurants around here), and the screen and sound is great. I just hope more people come so it stays open. It's WAY better than Mashpee and much better than the old Falmouth one too. Give it a try. It's also reasonably priced. Kids trays were 9.95 and included juice, skittles, and popcorn. They sell booze too.
