Never seems to be especially busy here - a sign of the times, but continues to serve as a pleasant entertainment resource for the town and surrounding area. I keep an eye on the showtimes from over on Martha's Vineyard as they occasionally will have features that don't show up on the island. I've only had the chicken fingers from the dining room and feel like they were lacking on my most recent visit, but previous times have been nice. And the staff seems to have a clearer system at this point to take care of food and drink at the start of the show and let the guests enjoy their movie. Being on the Vineyard boat schedule inevitably leads to more checking of the time during the film than I would in other locations. I wouldn't mind an opportunity to see an old fashioned event movie here with a large crowd, if and when that comes to pass. read more

This place is completely redone, disregard reviews from more than 1 year ago or so. All the new ones are 5 stars except for Barry's from East Brunswick, NJ, because he's an idiot. I love this place. Everything is relative. Of course a huge imax might have a better experience from a visual and sound perspective but this place has awesome seats, with trays. They come and take your order in your seat, actually have good food (better than some of the restaurants around here), and the screen and sound is great. I just hope more people come so it stays open. It's WAY better than Mashpee and much better than the old Falmouth one too. Give it a try. It's also reasonably priced. Kids trays were 9.95 and included juice, skittles, and popcorn. They sell booze too. read more

I went for the first time in year as they had remodeled removing the tables and chairs and replaced with recliners. Place was clean and comfortable. Service was ok. Took orders before the show and served food and drink but no opportunity to order another drink. They seemed short staffed. Hopefully they continue to ramp up offerings and service. read more

The issue was the service While the person was taking our order and taking payment, the manager called the server over and had him go over to another customer to talk to them. Interrupting my transaction. That is not appropriate behavior. The transaction should be completed before taking care of other business I complained to the server but I do not know if they passed on my issue to their bosses. We went to the Falmouth Pub Cinema last Friday. The woman took our order, the food was just ok, but then never returned to check to see if everyone was ok. We had to leave the movie to go find her when there was an issue, but you are expected to pay and tip prior to getting your food. Very bad service. read more

For those that had a poor perception (like me) of this establishment, think again. Technically it is a superb experience ... not IMAX but terrific image quality. The sound is also excellent. The review before mine was pretty lame. There has been a theater of some sorts in Falmouth for as long as I can remember. I remember seeing The Rocketeer and Batman Returns there in the early 90s as a kid. I even rode my bike to see The Parents Trap w Lindsay Lohan there one summer. It always has a good selection of movies(not to sure what that dude was saying). They play usually 4 or 5 movies. Always new releases and top flicks. It's in a great spot, plenty of parking, and you can go check out the People Of Walmart across the lot before or after. The last few years there has been the Pub Cinema there. I think it's a great thing to have. People love to drink and unwind in the Cape, especially if your just there on holiday. The prices are lower than a ticket in Boston, which is always nice. The drink selection is pretty good. Each time I have gone I have gotten pitchers of Sam Adams Seasonal. $14 for a domestic pitcher, $15 for Sam's and import pitcher. They also have wine as well. The food is your basic bar food. Decent portions, mozzarella sticks were pretty good as were the curly fries. Doubt I'll ever get a burger, but I never say never. The last few times I been there the service has been pretty below average. I saw TED at an afternoon showing and the service just took forever. Took a while for our drinks and food to come, then there the movie went black and came on 5 minutes later, no idea what we missed and they wouldn't start it over or explain. The waitresses just disappeared through all that and then couldn't be found when we were thirsty. The kid working the front said we could get half off appetizers for the trouble, which ended up being a lie. Took about a half hour to 45 minutes for our 2nd pitcher and appetizer. There were multiple tables around us upset. Working in a job where you deal with rude and people without common sense, I can usually put up with bad service but this was testing my patience. Clearly there was no training done and they were just hired and tossed out there. Every server was in the next theater chatting away when I got up and went to look for them. The pager on the tables weren't even working. The manager or owner who was there at the end didn't seem to care that the movie got interrupted and the service was bad. Instead of offering us a discount or anything, he gave us these emergency tickets to use at a future movie, and to spend more money. I'll def be back, but the management there clearly has issues and they need to do some training. read more

We came here hoping for a relaxing night with our 6 year old. The tickets were about 35 dollars for the 3 of us. We come in and it's small, outdated. We order our food and the selection is small. We weren't expecting the sticker shock at the end of the night or the fact that we would have to wait an hour for a refill on drinks which is not free. Our bill at the end was ridiculous for what we got. The nachos were huge and literally all chips with little to no cheese, our burgers were completely dry and the forgot our topping which took an extra 15 minutes. My daughter finished her chocolate milk and it took an hour to get a refill. We will never go back. The chairs were incredibly uncomfortable and the service and food was terrible for the price. We come here quite a bit since moving to Falmouth two summers ago. Usually the service and food are great and we leave happy. Last night we had a bizarre incident where a strange woman flipped out because our one year-old son got a little fussy during The Muppets Movie. I suppose the whole concept of children being present during children's movies was over her head. Personally, if I was going to spend an evening alone, it certainly wouldn't be to sit in a theater by myself watching The Muppets but I think that's just ONE out of a million personality traits where this lady and I differ. Anyway, instead of going to management to voice her irritation with my son she actually confronted me and told me to "take my kid and go!" Ummm...whoa!? Did I mention this was a MUPPETS MOVIE!?! It's not exactly the appropriate place to confront a woman holding a child and I was surprised because typically when we come to this theater there are a lot of kids and the parents/families help each other out. **Let me just say, if this wasn't a children's movie my kid wouldn't have been there. PERIOD** My husband and I did decide to leave because we were uncomfortable but this woman kept hounding us- even followed us to the lobby to further voice her disdain. I mean, if she was really THAT distracted I could fill her in on any plot confusion - basically, there are puppets and they dance and sing. It's very cute because it's a CHILDREN'S MOVIE -by the way, puppets are things children enjoy and will most likely be present for - other than that you're not missing too much. The staff and management intervened and handled her in a professional and excellent manner. I was really impressed so I wanted to say thanks to them for standing up for us. After a long winter I was questioning if moving to the East Coast was the best idea for us. Although this experience started off on a negative note, the staff at Falmouth Cinema Pub reminded me why we moved here to begin with: to live in a community where family comes first...and mean people finish dead last... I have been to 5 movies here and have had mostly good experiences. The food is nothing to rave about, but its better than the typical overpriced theatre candy/popcorn. The chairs are super comfortable and moveable (so you can't get stuck behind a person with big hair). Actually, far more comfortable to watch a movie in than most movie theatres I've been to. Only once did I have a problem with the service--one of the waitresses was a little loud during the movie--and too slow to bring us our check so we had to sit around waiting well after the movie was over, which was annoying. But the other times we had good service. (again... its a movie theatre, so when I say good service, I'm not comparing to 4 star restaurant service. ) read more

But when you show up right when the movie starts not realizing this.. then you miss out on all the good seats and are shoved into a corner with a light above your head and can barely see the screen. The Falmouth Cinema Pub is not a bad place to watch a movie and have some pub type food. The prices are reasonable but it might take a little while to get your food when you have a theater full of people. The seats are on wheels so you can sit close to your date or sit as far apart as you want. Seats are somewhat comfy. They do serve beer and wine if you want to enjoy a drink during the movie. If you have never tried a theater that serves food try it, it's not a bad experience. read more

I come to Falmouth a lot, and have been wanting to try this place for a while now. Finally went last night for dinner and a movie. We got there half hour before the movie started, and the place quickly filled up. I ordered a sandwich from the specials menu - BBQ steak sub. It came with a lot of fries for about $10. Also ordered a pitch of Sam Adams for $16.00. Prices were good, but I wish the food selection had more options. The food was also very good. I also liked the set up. You sit in comfortable Rollie chairs at your own table. The movie screen was also like any other movie theater screen. We came here on a rainy night, so it was nice to escape the typical cape cod tourists. Will definitely be back! read more

It's ok. I guess. There's not many choices in Falmout for movies. So because of that this place isn't so bad. The movie was out of focus, though not as bad as the "trivia" that plays while you get seated. The staff was friendly and attentive when you needed them to be. The beer selection was only so-so, but they came out quick and were well priced (for a movie theater). The pizzas were cheap ($8), though nothing fancy (or big). They only have four theaters and not always the best choices (Romantic comedies? Children's movies? Well, maybe "Cars 2" does need a drink.) The prices are average for the area ($9.50 normal) and the ambiance is similar to most every establishment in Falmouth (salty and out-dated). The restrooms could have doubled for a little-league dugout, only with more rusty hinges (they weren't that bad after the first pitcher of beer). The theaters are clean (not many stains on the confetti carpet) and the chairs are in good, working condition. The tables are a little awkwardly set up, but I guess movie theaters weren't meant for 80's pub tables. I'll go again, but only because I don't have that many options. read more

Pizzas are blah, but not bad. Chicken fingers are just that, chicken fingers. If I had the time I'd probably hit up the Sandwich Taverna then Heritage Theatre next door, but when your time is limited and you still need to choose between eating and a movie now you don't. Not once did we have a waitress approach us to inquire if we even wanted a drink. I tried the call button, but it was not activated.
