It was completely empty, the employees weren't wearing their mask and the food was not good. The matcha tasted like straight up milk and my smoothie was not good tasted oily I took one sip and then had to throw it out cause I would not have wanted more. The pictures make it look like a nice place but I didn't have that experience. Too bad I spent money there. read more

My absolute favorite place to get coffee from, 10x better than any Starbucks or Dunkin drinks and the environment is cute too. My daughter and I were trying to find a place to do some work and have coffee together. We wanted something cozy and chic. We searched up coffee near me and found Strange Brew. It's modern, comfy, clean, and everything on the menu looked delicious. There's a good variety too. We got Andes Mint Lattes! I want to go back and try the matcha drink. Was so excited to see a cute coffee shop in the suburbs and had heard good things about the coffee. Stepped in after a long day helping the teachers at oak ridge prepare for school. When I walked in the man behind the counter did not greet me. When I walked up to the counter he again did not say hello till I said it. Then mumbled a question to me that I couldn't hear in a rude way. I asked him to repeat it and then told him I was ready to order. When I looked up at him I could tell he either didn't want to be there or was just a rude/racist person. I proceeded to ask him if HE was okay? Which seemed to catch him off guard. I even tried to make small talk about the food and he still wasn't having it. I would have definitely come back here bc the matcha latte is actually really good. But probably WILL NOT since I did not feel comfortable AT ALL the whole time I was there. Another one of my friends said she felt that that same guy was racist/ rude to her and asked her multiple times if she was leaving during a bad storm. For that this place gets 2 stars Have gone in a couple times after this review and am happpy to say this place is cozy to the max. The employees attitudes have change and are more welcoming then become and their smoothie bowls are delicious! read more

This coffee is really good- The brew is fantastic. I literally had the best avocado toast here it was so delicious and made me feel wonderful!!! My little sister literally has gone here every day for the past seven months and I'm not even exaggerating there has not been one day where she missed except the day where she had the flu. I was finally able to stop by before they closed and there was a good size amount of people for 30 mins til closing. It's a great, clean and unique atmosphere that felt really cozy. If it was earlier I would have ordered a coffee and food and brought my laptop. I tried the Whiz kha -Leaf a and they asked if I wanted to try it with mango and it ended up being one of the best smoothies I had with a great balanced flavor that I'm glad they recommended that. Definitely will come back. The customer service is friendly and it felt really easy to approach them. I'm so glad Palos finally has a place like this, and I'm glad it ended up being something new. read more

Strange Brew is my favorite local business in this area. The toasts are great, the smoothies are fantastic, the smoothie bowls are very good, but the coffee is excellent, especially the iced Americano, which mastering an espresso is no easy feat, but most of all, the employees are awesome! The interior decor is very great, bright and welcoming and it's a very inclusive cafe! My entire family loves Strange Brew! You should check it out!
