There was supposed to be removal of the material and replaced with compactable fill that I had arranged for. After taking one load of dirt away and returning with one load of fill. I was informed that he could not complete the job because he kept getting stuck where he was dumping the dirt and his day was over. Having three more loads of dirt and more fill paid for this left me in quite a spot. Contacting another company to complete what goldshit couldn't caused cost overruns and huge issues with other contractors not being able to use the drive. Since I refused to pay for a job not only not completed but done poorly joshy feels entitled to ride his bougie electric bike by my house and verbally accost my girlfriend in public, who by the way is completely innocent and was not involved at the time of the DRIVEWAY debacle, but also really doesn't know what happened. I have held off writing a review for 8 years hoping he would be less abusive towards my children and friends but he continues to walk into the street and confront me while I drive down my own street with his form of intimidation to try to get me to pay for a job he didn't complete much less pay for the cost incurred by his incompetence as a truck driver and business owner. Beware this pond scum, don't pay until the job is done and never let him know your address. Just to humor myself I used my little green portable carpet cleaner on the steps only. The water was black and I got chunks of dog hair up. The lady told me that unless you vacuum your carpets EVERY SINGLE DAY, there is nothing they can do about this...?? I then had my husband call and ask for some money back or them to come back out and do something different. We spent 320 dollars so this was a huge amount of money we are talking about here. My husband called and said "Wow, that lady was extremely rude. I'm not talking to her if she's going to treat me that way". I then called and she said, "Mam I literally just talked to your husband for 10 minutes about this. I'm not giving you you're money back and we already came out twice." I have never been so unhappy with a service or company in my life. Customer service 0/5 all around. Not only was I not offered a refund but not even 50 dollars back, half back. Nothing. In fact, I was handed attitude and nothing more.

I took three bids and went from there. Two things stood out: 1) While AHR's bid was in line with the industry standard, when I mentioned that I was receiving other bids, Chris made a point to tell me that they would match the best offer. None of the other companies made that offer. Sure enough, they price matched with no questions asked. 2) The other offers I received asked for payment by cash or check. Each other bid would accept credit card, but would add a 3% convenience fee for doing so. That seemed kind of tacky considering how much money a mitigation system cost. AHR charges no fee for credit card payments. Beyond that, the appointment for estimate and installation were right on time and the two different company reps were really friendly but professional. The work was excellently done. Highly recommend!
