I found that a lot of the other wineries in Malibu charged to book the reservation and most charged $20-25 for parking, so the free parking alone made me jump to book this place. I didn't want all of my friends to have to drive such a long way AND pay for parking! The space is different than what the old Rosenthal winery used to be, but it's actually more intimate and nicer! Apparently this is where they used to host VIPs before the fire, so it feels like a more exclusive space. The entrance feels quite sudden and easy to miss while driving, but you enter a small driveway after confirming the reservation name with the guard, and then drive along a beautiful road until you hit the entrance. Such a beautiful drive in! There were tables set up for everyone and it's not overly crowded which is nice. They even had live music (they were great!). They had a pretty decent wine list, whites, reds, roses, sweet, bubbly, but no non-alcoholic wines for those curious. They don't serve any food which feels like a bummer at first, but they do allow you to bring any and all food and non-alcoholic beverages you want. So it's essentially like a picnic but at a nice winery. We had plenty of snacks and bites so we were just fine, and they were ok with my bottle of non-alcoholic bubbly wine. We had a great time here! Marquis checked on us after awhile, and he dreaded the fact he forgot to bring me my water. He felt really bad, I told him it wasn't a big deal and to bring me one when he got the chance. Cornell offers many wines from various wineries throughout the world and allows you to create your own tasting flight from their menu or purchase a glass or bottle. My wife and I enjoyed sharing two flights, and we even tried a bottle of red Moscato, which my mother-in-law loves. A friend joined us as well and the four of us shared a small Hollywood Nosh Box ($25) and a jar of Taggiasche Olices ($11) which was more than enough. They carry a small selection of charcuterie items so you can have quite a nice little picnic for yourself. We'll definitely stop in Cornell again...I recommend that you check them out.

Mr. Semler, also alum, treated us to safari ride, delicious wines ('11 cabernet sauvignon my favorite), food from The Habit, live music, and interaction with the animals. Here also resides a celebrity known as Stanley, the giraffe on Hangover 3. I was able to take a selfie with him! Sweet big guy. The scenery is breathtaking! The estate is gorgeous, clean, and very well maintained. All of the wine was superb and I mentioned my favorite already. I highly recommend coming here for the safari exploration and wine tasting.
